The only bar in Keene worth my time and money. The staff are a no nonsense, family type group who don’t put up with behavior that makes everyone uncomfortable. The rotating Taps keep a fair variety of beers coming thru. Cheap drinks most nights of the week, a huge outdoor seating area to smoke, drink and hangout. Plus there’s pool, ping pong, foosball and darts. It’s super chill, the true«townie» bar. College kids can have all the others. I’ll forever stick with killers!

This place looked really cool and chill until we discovered that one of the«bouncers» was on a power trip. Don’t kilkenny, killthebouncer. There’s a certain way to speak to people.

Hehe. I finally made it to [the world-famous-in-Keene] Kilkenny! Bottom line — It’s divey, a little stinky, cheap and full of regulars. Pool tables, outdoor rustic patio(perfect for a sunny afternoon sneaky beer) and they serve slices from Amicis pizza — which is the best in town.

The Kilkenny Pub is the only bar in town that doesn’t cater to any kind of demographic. If you’ve got cash in your pocket and you’re not looking for a fight then you’re welcome here. It’s the only bar in Keene I will patronize.

It seems that most of the bars in Keene are largely patronized by college students, but the Kilkenny is an exception. They seem to cater to mostly locals. It has a kind of dive bar feel, but without the sticky floors and the disgusting bathrooms. Beer prices are good($ 4) and they have some excellent crafts and imports(including Kilkenny and Smithwicks). They also do some bar food but we didn’t try it so I couldn’t tell you how it is. CASHONLY! There is an ATM inside. If you want to smoke there are tables and chairs outside the door for hanging out and working on your lung cancer. Lots of pool tables, darts, ping pong, foosball etc. Friendly vibe and — oh, did I mentioned that it’s Irish themed? Ha ha.

Ahhh the Killah… If you’re looking for local flavor, then this is the place for you. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the stupid internet jukebox every place has to have now…$$$$$$$$!! Otherwise look no further, this is keene!

Killers is the best but if you’re reading this and have never been there, you might not agree. I love it because I know I can always go and know someone(or everyone) there and everyone who works there is one of my favorite people. If they don’t know you they might not be that nice because hey, maybe you suck. They have great specials all the time and Harp which is my favorite beer on tap! Hooray! All I’ve eaten here is chicken fingers and I will probably keep it that way but hey, chicken fingers are great. Added bonus, if you smoke you can bring your drink with you and watch tree-v while talking about sports with Andrew or Will! If you don’t like the Bruins, don’t come here.

A great dive bar. Love to play darts there. Good variety of beers on tap. Fun to read the graffiti in the restroom and on the tables. I drew the cock fight one. Food is frozen pub fare, deep fried. They have a happy hour from 4 – 7 where it is all half off. Pretty safe overall, I have never felt threatened being a lone woman enjoying a beer.

Just love this place and wanted to give the stars it deserves. Good friendly local place with the right price beer. Not full of idiots like some other keene bars

With this bar you really have to know what you walking into. It’s pretty dirty and doesn’t always smell the best, however it’s a friendly more laid back atmosphere. If your looking for a place where you can enjoy a conversation and a cheap drink and not have to yell over the speakers or drunk college kids, this is the place to go. It’s a cash only bar, which kinda sucks but there is an ATM. It’s also my favorite place to bring your drink outside in the summer and have a cigarette at the picnic tables. Also has pool, foos, ping pong, and darts. Nice variety.

Of course I love this bar. They’ve got ever form of entertainment you could ever need, from ping pong to the jukebox to an array of interesting people from almost every walk of life. There is no pretension here. Rarely too many of the obnoxious college kids. Its one of the only bars I’ll go to in Keene. Besides 21 of course :)

As far as bars in Keene go, Killers is by far one of the best. I don’t consider it a dive bar, but I am told it has been re-done in the past couple of years and was spruced up a bit. The drinks are cheap(especially on Wheel nights) and there is a small but relatively good selections of beer. There is a great mix, from the locals to the hipsters here which makes for an interesting crowd! All in all, Killers is a fun bar and probably the best bar in Keene!

This place reminds me of my local back home in San Francisco: Kennedy’s. So nice to find a place that I immediately feel at home in. The regulars are friendly and the bartenders are too. There’s always a fairly good IPA on tap(although I wouldn’t mind seeing more). I love coming here during the day, sitting in the back corner and putting $ 10 into the juke.

Ah Killers. This bar has wicked cheap pool tables, a ping pong table, some arcade machines and great beer. They usually have some standard beer on tap, with a bunch of rotating beers. Their well drinks are pretty good as well. When ever friends and I are back in Keene we say«Want to go to the bar» and 95% of the time, «the bar» is Kilkenny’s. I have met so many new friends while here, and reconnected with old ones. I find people are more social here than any other bar in town, except maybe the ones that focus on pool. This is my all time favorite bar, and the only reason I am taking one star off is that they only accept cash, it’s a pain when you only bring a couple bucks and have to run out to the bank. They do however have an ATM but there is a surcharge as usual.

Tuesday nights: All drafts are $ 2 pool tables are .50 cent games. Enough said, this place isn’t high class but right on point.

Met some family and friends at this good college bar. Loud, dirty, cheap drinks, pool and ping pong readily available. Arrived around 11:30 on a Friday night looking for bar food, the kitchen was closed but they suggested we ordered Dominoes. We became everyone’s best friend by 1am. Jim the bartender is awesome.

Favorite bar in Keene. Seating is available outside as well as inside. Kind of a «towny» bar. Pool, Ping Pong, darts, etc. Cash Only.

Lots of booze, cigarettes, loud music, dirty floors and tables, darts, pool and all kinds of cheap shots and specials on beer. Lots of pong tournaments — the crowd is a mix of the college kids and freaky, greasy local kids from some of the shitty little villages outside Keene like Swanzey or Marlborough. Not a lot of light or comprehension of 20th century hygiene standards. Kilkenney’s is a big old drunken mess, and it’s absolutely great, if you’re in the mood for it. Otherwise it can be pretty fucking depressing.

Kilkenny’s. A mixture of loudness, ping pong balls, and cheap beer. I haven’t been back since the no smoking rule has been implemented, so I’m sure it has improved 1 millionfold. Really, the smoke was like a blanket inside because there was no ventilation. BUT if you didn’t care about your lungs being healthy, and wanted a cheap beer with a game of drunken ping pong, this was the place to go.

The best bar in Keene! I waltzed in and it was a dream come true, all drinks were $ 1(because it was Sun and the spining wheel of prices landed on $ 1!!!), Magic Hat #9(the best beer ever) on tap, there was fooze ball and darts, the music was cute, locals abound including that guy with the pink devil beard and goth clothes. I liked how on Saturday nights the hot dog place next door was open too and serves veggie dogs. I had a mental picture of what New Hampshire would be like since this was my first visit and Kilkenny Pub sort of confirmed all the good things in my Keene illusions. However the bar next door, Railroad tavern confirmed all of the bad things in my Keene illusion-so stay away from that place! My only complaint was when KORN came on the jukebox and everyone but me seemed happy about that. I am just not a KORN fan.
