I love, love this little spot. If I lived in Keizer Oregon and had a girlfriend this is where I would be getting her flowers all the time but for me I have a mom right down the road and every birthday and holiday I get her flowers from this little spot. Original bouquets, fresh vibrant colors. She loves them every time.

This is a wonderful family-run flower shop, with beautiful floral designs and the most friendly staff you will ever meet! They went out of their way to help me out when another florist in town simply cancelled my order the morning of. Thank you Rich and Lisa! For the kindness, the generosity, and the most beautiful flowers in town. I will be ordering again very soon!

I showed the staff a photo from the ftd website of a sweethearts bouquet that I wanted for $ 50. The lady went in the back after charging my card to make the bouquet. What she came out with had shriveled up roses that were pink not red as in the picture. The bouquet looked awful and not fresh and lasted two days tops. When I told her this was not what I asked for she argued with me. So I left with a $ 50 bouquet that looked like a week old $ 10 Safeway bouquet. I will not return!

I am a romantic at heart. I like giving flowers, tailored to the occasion. I try to find unique arrangements that show I’ve taken some thought and effort into what will be nice. That being said, florists are something I tend to seek out when I am in date mode. Safeway and Roths simply won’t do. Although they have large arrangements pre-made, I’ve never been particularly happy with the quality and the knowledge of staff at various ones. Nothing in particular, just nothing stands out. So having re-entered said date mode, I needed some flowers and passed by the Keizer Florist. I figured the name says it all, so I stopped in. Well, not that I actually expected it, but I thought it would be nice to get some Dogwood blossoms, as that is the state flower of North Carolina, which would present some sentimental value. As I entered, I couldn’t tell who worked in the place and who was a customer, since everyone, including about three children, were behind the counter. Not that that bothered me, but I wandered around for a bit before being noticed. The interior didn’t exactly impress me. There were some large rose arrangements in the cooler, but most of the interior of the store was taken up with terra cotta pottery and ceramic garden ornaments. Also there was apparently an espresso bar in one dark corner, but I honestly don’t know if it was up and running or just a failed idea. Anyhow, when I was noticed, I asked the woman if they had any Dogwood blossoms, as unlikely as that was. They didn’t, but the look she gave me seemed to be one of confused horror, which was odd to me. I don’t know if it was just that she didn’t know that Dogwood trees had blossoms, or that I was ridiculous to ask, or what, but I got a very odd look back. I then asked for just a few carnations in baby’s breath, because as boring as they are, you can’t go wrong with carnations. The problem was, I couldn’t see any other kinds of flowers. Other than the prepared arrangements in the cooler, without taking myself to the back, I couldn’t see what looked good and how well any of their flowers would be. Hence, the old stand-by. When she came back, though, I did have her throw in a yellow Asiatic lily that was in the front cooler, and as a quick aside, the result was actually quite nice. But the last thing that sort of made it so that I would not be returning is that after I paid(a very reasonable price, though, there was no price gouging here), I didn’t even get a thank you, or a come back again, or anything. I signed my receipt, –I– said thank you, and she responded with, «Uh huh,» and I walked out. …really? Sorry. Some form of interest in what I was trying to accomplish at a florist would have gone a long way towards making this a stand-out experience. As it is, I got a rather nice, if somewhat dull, bouquet of flowers, at a pretty reasonable price. So there you go.
