We only came here because the first place was closed and boy am I glad we did! The staff was friendly and the food was on point. I have never had El Salvadoran food and I love it. Pupusas are now my carb loaded food of choice.

What a wonderful meal I had, this my first time. First off, it was beautifully festive — the setting just put me in a joyful mood — colorful and sparkly. The wait staff were very busy due to it being a Friday evening at dinner hour, but also sweet, attentive and very knowledgeable about each dish. There were four of us and we had a hard time deciding from the great menu choices so we decided to go family style — all 4 orders were placed in the middle and we had empty plates to fill. We had 4 different types of beans, all delicious. The camarones con crema was heavenly, the crab tacos delicious and didn’t scrimp on the crab. There was a meaty dish of which I didn’t partake but my friends said it was excellent. The drinks were strong and you definitely got a pleasant buzz on one drink, not like a lot of places. Overall this was the most fun and enjoyable restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time and this is my new favorite place! Go there!

Salem/Keizer is a surprisingly great place to find a variety of Latin food and this place is one of the top picks in Keizer. This place is run by people from the Central American country of El Salvador and the authenticity shows in the flavors and textures of its most excellent food. For those that think all Latin food is Mexican food, I encourage you to come here and try the Salvadoran. The pupusas(thick corn meal tortilla made with a variety of items of your choosing cooked inside) are amazing: try the pork ones with cheese– mmmm. Look like you know what you’re talking about and ask for a pupusa with lorocco(the tasty edible part of a cactus plant that grows in that region), it’s a great combo. The Platanos Fritos con Crema are a must enjoy app and for another side, I encourage you to try the root vegetable, Yucca(«You-kah»). Service is friendly and fast, you can tell people enjoy working here and make all customers feel welcome. The inside is typical Latino style with walls painted all different kinds of color… basically looking like a Sherwin Williams store exploded inside and it ends up working! All kinds of bric a brac hang from the ceiling, which gives it a quirky, whimsical feel. There are a couple large TV monitors for catching those games while you enjoy drinks from their full bar. I ordered their Cadillac Margarita and it was pretty good(I’ve had better). I didn’t save room for dessert, unfortunately but I’m sure you won’t go wrong trying their Flan.

Pretty decent little place, not bad but not necessarily great either, but I would go here again just for the flaming fajitas, not a bad place overall.

Best pupusas in Salem or maybe all of Oregon, served by efficient, friendly family folk. I’ve only tried the Salvadoran selections(it’s not hard to find decent Mexican, after all) but it’s all been fantastic! I ordered pupusas de queso con loroco(not on the menu, but they ought to be) and they happily made them for me. Perfect choice for casual atmosphere and phenomenal food at super reasonable prices. Try the yucca or the platanos. Enjoy!

Been here once before and it wasn’t bad. Came back for a bday occasion and the service was definitely lacking a lot. Never got a second cup of water even after seeing them walk around with a jug. The food was definitely mediocre. My burrito was very plain with little flavor and the enchilada was definitely just a soggy tortilla with chicken. The sauce was very weird, almost like some pasta sauce. Most likely won’t come back nor recommend it, I do know others enjoy it just not for me. Love the owners vibes though, very happy person.

Pretty small restaurant and I liked the décor but the food just wasn’t what I was expecting. Lots of pulled/shredded meat in the dishes(I got a burrito and my wife had a taco dish) but I’m not really crazy about shredded meat except for at BBQ joints. This is the first Salvadoran restaurant I’ve been to so maybe it’s not totally accurate to compare it to straight Mexican dishes. The lunch specials are cheap and I believe the owner may have greeted and served us. She was very nice.

Los Dos Hermanos was a great find for me. I was driving from LA to Canada and had stopped in Salem OR for the night. Found Los Dos on Unilocal and headed on over. What a treat to find some Salvadoran food on the menu in addition to the traditional Mexican Fare. The service was excellent and the owner seated me. I had platanos as a side with my Salvadoran dinner. After dinner I spoke with the owner about Salvadoran food and some places in my home town. She was great and we had a nice chat. If you go to Los Dos — I would recommend the Salvadoran menu items. You an get traditional Mexican almost anywhere — but to find Salvadoran food is indeed rare.

The food is good, and so are the drinks. The service is slow to order, and slow to come but is worth it. In any case I would come back to eat again. The atmosphere is a bit above average, but the noise is exceptionally low. Over all it is a good restraunt. PS just a warning although very good the burritos come wet.

The owners make you feel like family. Amazing service, fantastic food, and you have to order plantains!!! They are why I come here every time I’m in town. I ask for mine extra crispy. Great for groups and also great for lunch.

Same old, same old Mexican food. Good, but nothing great. Service was good. Standard beer and cocktail selection for a Mexican restaurant. Good lunch specials. Quick and clean.

I had some very tasty pupusas. I did not overly enjoy the tamale as it felt overly hydrated not like others I have had. They have cute out door dining area but the traffic from the main road can be distracting if looking to have conversation. Service was OK but I had to find the waiter for water. I understand being busy but it did not appear to be busy at all. Overall decent experience. I would recommend the pupusas and will try another dish next time. I will say that the Cadillac Margarita was a stiff one. Definitely won’t be driving after one of those whoo iee

From service to food to cocktails, this place is one of the most amazing, family run, establishments in the pacific northwest. Amazing from start to finish, a must place to eat. Tell the wondrous owner Teresa that Edward sent you. You won’t be disappointed.

This is one our favorite places to chow down in Keizer. Mama Maria has brought authentic Salvadorian food to our neighborhood and it is delicious. I consider myself a food snob and the slim choices of quality food in the greater Salem area is disappointing. We can always count on a great meal, good drinks and amazing service.

GREAT service! I went here after going on a long hike with my girlfriend. Needless too say I was hungry when I first got there since I planned poorly and brought no food on the hike. The service was quick and perfect. Chips, salsa, and beans! Oh, and did I mention we were super hungry? We burned through the first basket of chips in no time and they had another basket in front of us while literally picking up the last chip from the first basket. We were very please to see they brought us another round of brands and salsa as well. The food! It came quickly and was pretty tasty. Since it was a salvadorian place, I tried the Papusas and was pleasantly pleased. Gf had enchilada and burrito and also was happy. Left stuffed and not broke. 4.5÷5 stars if I could! The $ 1.50 sodas with no refills is the only thing keeping this place from a 5 stars. Seriously great service though!

PLEASEREADTHIS I have a bit of travel under my belt, and have eaten at many a different restaurant. Understand that this sentence does not come lightly: This is my favorite restaurant. Mind you, yes, the food was amazing. Everything is obviously cooked when you ordered it, but it’s also PREPARED as you order it. For example, I had the quesadilla. The jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and other vegetables were freshly diced at the point of order. The tortilla chips, tortillas, salsa, and and bean dip are all house-made. Everything is a personal recipe of the owner, from the chicken marinade, to the margarita(with strawberries from local fruit stands). And, of course, the service was incomparable. The owner was at our table every few minutes, checking up on us and telling us different things about the history of the restaurant. And when I asked for more salsa, the wait for a refill was under 30 seconds. The owner’s daughter was also over occasionally just to talk, and was always very cheerful, insightful, and happy. Plus, the atmosphere was perfect. There was a party in the back room of raucous(but respectful) patrons all having a great time, and the tables were all filled with well-mannered people. It seemed as though everyone was on a personal-basis with the owner. At one point, a small child ran in and gave the owner a hug. It felt genuinely like a family-based operation. Lastly, this place has no advertisement. Nothing in the papers, no radio, no magazines, fliers, or anything of the sort. This place relies on word-of-mouth only. When I called this my «favorite restaurant,» it’s because of all these things. But I implore you, please pay this place a visit to see what I mean. Stay and have a drink, talk to the staff, and just enjoy. Also, thank you to everyone there for the most enjoyable dining experience I’ve ever had.
