Great tacos and tortas. Friendly atmosphere. This was our second time dining and we brought a friend. If you are in a hurry you can call ahead and they will have it ready when you arrive.
There are growing pains they are working out with service but everyone is friendly and helpful. Nothing out of the ordinary for a new restaurant.
We will definitely be back and we will tell our friends to come here when in the mood for tacos.

**now called El Patron Mexican Grill** Excellent food and great service! Authentic Mexican food and a great selection and variety available on the menu. The food was quick and tasted fresh and flavorful. Small seating area and very clean. It was the first time we had been here today and I had a fish taco (grilled NOT deep fried), tamale and rice all for under $ 7! My BF got the chicken Pozole and practically licked the bowl clean. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items and get some things to go. We both had more than enough to eat and it was under $ 20 for dinner and a soda each. The food was very authentic and fresh! Highly recommend.

Amazing first visit here. Today is the first time I’ve ever been excited to visit Salem, and this restaurant is the reason why. Stomach grumbling. Can’t wait… I’ll be there at opening time, which is 11am on Thursdays.

This place is awesome. The food is so fresh and delicious, and has become our go-​to Mexican restaurant in Keizer and Salem. We’ve been here quite a few times in the last month and have been very happy every time. On my last visit I had the Huarache Ranchero with Al Pastor and a side of Arroz. The SO had Carnitas and we both kept picking off each other’s plates while trying to guard our own.
The service is also great. They are extremely friendly and will definitely help you make the right choices for you if you’re not sure what you want. Everything we’ve had here has been great. Burritos, tacos, Birria, tamales… I could go on and on but I’m making myself hungry.
Try Salsa Rica, you won’t be disappointed!
