Can’t believe that this place closed down. Great food, service and prices. What a shame. If they reopen anywhere else I want to know!

Came today looking for my usual slice. I asked a lime employee if she knew anything, she said that one day the employees showed up to work and they were told that the owner didn’t pay rent. If this is true, you are the best WORST boss ever!!!

As a New Yorker, this is my favorite pizza in Miami. Great slices and delivery. WHY DID U CLOSE!!!

It’s pretty ridiculous that back to back nights I have called for pizza you don’t answer. I order minimum two nights a week, talk about the worst customer service there is.

I ordered an artichoke pizza and a cheese pizza for delivery. The pizza was very good and the delivery is fairly quick. I would order from here again.

Nice place, good service and great pizza! The pizzas have a very organic and fresh taste. Crust is delicious. crispy and well done without that thick doughy texture.

Miami New Times occasionally blasts its readers with emails advertising clinical trials, and I wonder who actually participates… apparently I do. Flippin’ pizza used me as a research subject to discover the human preference for cold or warm pizza while under emotional duress caused by hunger pangs. The double-​blind study started amicably enough on a Friday night, which I expected to be busy and wasn’t surprised by an hour wait for delivery.
I checked back after Flippin’ had blown their deadline by 30 minutes and got the typical coddling and the promise that my order would arrive in minutes. I reached out again after another 15 minutes passed to more coddling and promises. Finally after 2 hours the pizza arrived with a complimentary side of excuses and apologies from Gary the Manager, who delivered it himself in his personal car. He offered me a complimentary dinner for the delay and we exchanged smiles and handshakes. Unfortunately my frown returned when I opened the box and found someone else’s pizza. Beauty is in the eye of the pie-​holder though and at least there wasn’t anything crazy like mushrooms or anchovies on it. I had to reheat it, but enjoyed my meal and appreciate that it didn’t include any preservatives, added oils, or sugars.
I called Gary back and he comp’d my pizza and said the offer to try them again free-​of-​charge was still valid. Which I might do when it’s not a weekend, holiday or hunger emergency. It’s called Flippin’ Pizza because it takes for flippin’ ever! That’s not OK for a pizzeria that’s so close to my house I can literally land a paper airplane on it.

I am so particular when it comes to pizza and with my boyfriend being from NYC he is worse then I am. We can officially say we’ve found our new favorite pizza place!!! The location was decorated similar to a Philly or NYC pizza joint, we sat outside to people watch. Then the pizza came out! First the pepperoni was the smaller ones that are so delicious! Also we are fans of crunchy pizza, especially dough that can hold up to the toppings. I even did the dough test, where we hold up the slice and if it doesn’t budge aka droop down and drop all the toppings then it’s a winner! And it won on all sorts of levels!!! We finished the whole pie and were so sad when we didn’t have any left over. Definitely our new favorite cheat meal spot!!!

Impressed! From the order taker to the delivery guy, polite + super cool service is an understatement. I ordered a half cheese/​half tomato basil with the house salad. Delivery was pretty quick unlike other places. The pizza was delicious! Huge slices of hot, cheesy, crispy crust, I was in heaven. You’ll hear from me again soon!

I keep coming back to this place because it is so good. The kids love it, the wife likes it, they are super fast, they don’t any artificial ingredients, and the price is awesome. There is nothing bad I can say about this place.

Wow! The Palmetto Cheerleaders had a fundraiser here yesterday and today (and tomorrow too) and this was my first time trying the pizza. It was soooo good! Really good! I was very pleasantly surprised! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was really happy with my experience. My friend and I both had the Whitestone and Buffalo Chicken pizzas for $ 7 for 2 slices with a drink. I also ordered the Pesto and the Triboro to go. Loved the Whitestone! The crust is thin but not soggy. The cheese was not overly cheesey. Everything was just right. Two slices were quite filling. I love the fact that you can mix & match different slices of pizza when you order by the slice. It’s a great way to try different pizzas without buying the whole pie. Will definitely be back!

One of the best New York style pizza in Miami. Very inexpensive but very good. The restaurant’s décor is very cool, slick and modern.

FLIPPIN PIZZA IS FLIPPING AWESOME!!! If you want a thin crust greasy REAL new York style pizza this is the place to go. Hands down some of the best pizza in town. Inside is clean and staff is friendly. Right across from lime fresh Mexican tell your friends and hit this place up. 3 dollars by the slice of 19 for a pretty large pie! YUM YUM YUM!

I’m really not a fan of Flippin’ Pizza.
The area is Downtown Dadeland and is right across from Lime.
The restaurant itself looks great and different.
But the pizza itself was alright. It was hard to cut into it and by a couple of minutes the pizza got cold.
I’ve heard the women restroom looks cool but I never went in it.
Maybe I’ll go back just because the price rang for pizza isn’t bad compare to other pizza restaurants.

Love this pizza spot in downtown dadeland. For $ 7 you can two slices and a soda. A perfect lunchtime spot. They also have fresh made salads and they serve wine and draft and bottle beers. They have traditional cheese and pepperoni slices as well as some of their own house slices. The tomato basil and garlic and the pesto slices are my favorite. They have garlic knots with marinara sauce too. The ambience is nice and the pics on the wall around the place keep you entertained while munching. They have a couple TV’s too. On Thursday nights they have $ 4 beers and live music. I gotta check that out one of these days. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Plus you get a parking validation so u can park in the underground parking free. The pizza is crispy and not over oiled or thick. It’s yummy!!!

Decently good pizza with great delivery around the Dadeland area. The cheese pizza was honestly a little bland but i love that fact that they use mostly natural ingredients and NO SOY in their pizza. Hallelujah :)

This, by far, is the best New York style pizza in Miami. I have been here already 3x and each time the pizza taste better. I cannot comment on the sides like wings and garlic rolls because I just come in for pizza. But on the pizza, its right on with staff hand tossing right in front of you. Toppings or just plain, you cant go wrong.
If I can compare it to another pizza, it resembles the Big Cheese, buts its thinner and the sauce is a bit tastier. Big Cheese pizza is a good pizza, but Flippin Pizza is my new favorite.

A great addition to Downtown Dadeland in my opinion. I went with my SO on a Monday around ²⁄₃ and it was pretty empty. We ordered a whole pie (Triboro which has pepperoni sausage and meatball but isnt too overwhelming.) The seating inside is nice but we chose a table outside. Our pizza was out in 15 – 20 min and was it delicious and HUGE. Their deal of 2 slices and 1 drink for $ 7 is great because it is more than enough for 1 person. The pizza didn’t leave us feeling icky afterward which is a plus for me. Fresh tasting and a yummy crust! We will definitely be returning.

A great choice for a quick pizza or wings at a reasonable price when you’re in the area. It’s a quick-​service restaurant and doesn’t pretend otherwise. Compared to others in this category, it’s above average. Flippin’ is a small family-​owned chain from California. The guys behind the counter seem to care more than your average chain pizza joint. Case in point: apparently they are supposed to cook the wings for 8 minutes according to the ‘home office’. However, they’ve found that cooking it slightly lower and until 12 minutes results in crispier wings… and therefore they go ahead and do that. In fact, you might want to ask for their «12 minute wings» and give them a kick (if you like crispy skin).
The pizza itself is well done, with a nice, crispy thin crust. Also, they make it a point that they don’t use high-​fructose corn syrup, and no added oil or sugar. They claim this results in up to 40% less carbs. These claims, I’m sure, are directly targeting the big pizza chains that often use many of the tricks common in processed corporate food to create taste with lower grade ingredients. I will say that while very crispy when first made, the crust doesn’t hold up as well as some when eating it the next day. They recommend heating it in an oven or toaster oven, never a microwave, and make this a big point on the take-​home box.
Finally, the décor is nicely done, slick and modern — with cool wall décor that integrates «Flippin’ Pizza» into classic rock and movie posters. Did I mention they also have a retro video-​game table that cycles between bar and arcade classics like «Ms. Pac-​Man», «Donkey Kong», «Frogger» etc. So all in all, Flippin’ Pizza is a good time, with a friendly staff and excellent service.
