This is an update to my previous review, after speaking with regional manager Hector(a very nice phone conversation where he acknowledged the problems I was having with this location and left me feeling like I was heard and he was working on it) and giving this location a few more tries. It hasn’t been perfect, but it has improved, so I’m tacking on an additional star. Out of 4 subsequent visits: 1 visit they were«closed» at 4am, another visit they were«closed» at 11:45pm. The random closings continue to mystify me; they are supposed to be open 24 hours, and I suspect the reasonable explanation is that some of the nighttime employees are slackers who want to take breaks from customers. I hope Hector gets on that right quick — I know I would. But the 2 visits that were successful, one during the day and one during the night, went well. My orders were correct(unusual because I have a «special» order that they usually mess up) and during the daytime visit, the food was superb — hot, fresh and delicious(during the nighttime visit, the food was just fine — not so hot, not so fresh, but pretty good tasting anyway). I will continue to come here from time to time, but I still hold up the Lynnwood store as the gold standard, and the Kenmore location has a long way to go to match up with them.

This is the worst jack in the box I have ever been to. I have come here several times, each getting progressively worse. There’s a good reason why this place is usually void of costumers… The first time me and my husband came here, it was a morning and we had to break a $ 100. I know it’s not the nicest thing in the world for us to come in with such a bill, but we didn’t realize that was the smallest bill until ordering. Well, the cashier was obviously unhappy about it and made a big deal about it. He said, «you know, I have to go to the back now because of this!» Like it was some big event or something. We said sorry but all he said was«yeah» and walked away. Another time we came in around 8 a.m., and we had previously asked the cashier on a seperate date whether they would make anything on the menu at any time. We had been told yes, anything on the menu. Well, on this particular morning we tried to order 2 teriyaki chicken bowls. He said«I don’t know if we can make that, let me see if we are out of instant rice.» He left and came back to say, «we have the rice but we won’t make it.» My husband then asked, «but you have the ingredients, right?» He said«yeah.» My husband then responded with«but you said before that you would make anything on the menu!» The cashier then said, «whatever. We just don’t feel like making it, okay?» We then just walked out. We came back another morning to order breakfast food(this jack in the box is one of the only places along the way to my husbands work). When we came in, the first thing that came out of that cashiers mouth was«we aren’t going to make any chicken bowls!» He said it in a very rude and angry way, without saying hello or anything. We said we weren’t going to order that, ordered breakfast(2 egg and steak burritos), waited an incredibly long time, then drove away. Both burritos were soggy in grease and each only had 3 – 4 small pieces of steak. Another time, with a «new» girl cashier, we asked what was in the munchie meal. She replied with«Uhmmmm…well, let’s see… I think… some fries, no no curly fries and some other stuff. But it’s really good!» «Ok…like what other stuff?» «A burger, I think. Maybe a sandwich. Or wait…» This was followed by many«uhms» and not finding out what was in the munchie meal box until going to another jack in the box. Our last and final time at this jack in the box, today this late afternoon, my husband ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. Well, there were four little pieces of chicken(hardly anything, really, especially compared to other locations). But the worst of it was, and we both decided to never come here again because of it, the rice was like porridge. Thick, goopey, long over cooked, you could not distinguish each grain of rice. It was just one big mass that took up about 95 percent of the available«food».

Good food. The tacos here are really cheap and the chocoalate shakes are good. Though in the years I have has problems with some of the workers here on messing up my order.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I have been through here several times and have received snarky remarks from the person working the driving through. My boyfriend(who has an egg allergy) drove through for breakfast one morning and asked for a certain breakfast sandwich with no egg, substitute for ham. The person in the mic said«hold on», left him sitting there for a good 30 seconds then came back on and said with very much attitude«why don’t you just get the(insert combo # here)?!» And it was a completely different sandwich than what he had wanted. He was then given a lot of attitude at the window as well. My most recent time through the girl working the drive through was very sweet, even chatted with me for a few minutes about my car while waiting for my food to cook. Hopefully this location is turning around.

If I could give this dump«0» stars, I would. Ordered a munchie meal(had a feeling this was a bad idea altogether); I get my order, check the box… A few fries and a small burger. Tacos are missing! Ask about the tacos; «oh, we’re out…». Apparently I missed that on the menu. Next time a customer pays $ 9 for a box of «you know its cr@p», check it, jitb employees! Its a simple task. We’d appreciate it. Till… Oh yeah, never!

Have been to other jack in the boxes around the area and this one is by far one of the worst that I have ever been to. They continually doesn’t give us the right food, last night we where checking the order with no one in the drive thru behind us and the lady managing it told us that we couldn’t stay there and had to leave. Other times the counter and driver thru people will be extremely rude and snotty. This is the last time that I will ever by food from this jack in the box location and honestly they need to fire every one in there and hire a new staff and fully train them.

The worst. Ran out of milkshakes, sirloin burgers, Reese pie. Rude service. Shitty food.

I can’t believe I ate it. What disgusting food! Sirloin burger leaves me ready to regurgitate. Maybe 8 years in the UK has reeducated my taste buds. I can’t do this any more.

It is standard fast food place. Cheap food and I love that you can get breakfast any time. Open 24 hours is great as well.

It’s fast food. That’s it. You’ll just be disappointed if you expect more. I like it more than McDonald’s, but less than a «real» restaurant. For whatever reason, it’s the only fast food joint on my morning commute, so I end up coming in here for breakfast some days. They currently have a full breakfast sandwich that has two eggs, sausage, ham, bacon and cheese all on a wilted sourdough bun for under four bucks. Done. I can sort of pretend that I’m having a real breakfast and it’s quick and convenient. The staff is friendly, but sort of focused on that drive-up window, so people walking in the front door tend to take them by surprise.

Food is always hot and fresh but they get 3 stars cause they never have shakes at night. And what happened to the spicy chicken sandwhich? I mean, now it is this lifeless patty of pounded chicken when before it was nice white meat chucky funk in my sammy. C’mon Jack, quit being cheap And bring back that chicken sandwhich we all love.

Yay! I’m a fan. FOUR stars because I wait allll year for their Pumpkin Pie milkshake!!! This JITB’s shake machine always works… unlike some other locations I been to. So really… I could care less what else they serve. I just want that milkshake and I can have it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I still feel a kernel of lividness sitting inside of me! My friend and I were on our way to play games with folks. We were running late as his bus had been late. But, he was hungry. So, I suggested that we stop at this Jack in the Box before heading up to my friend’s house(as it was on the way.) When we got there, there was a pretty big line at the drive thru so I sent him inside. And waited. And waited. And waited. I watched all of the cars in the line that was there go through and then at least 5 more! I was just about to stomp inside when finally, my friend comes walking out empty handed. The story? For whatever reason, they concentrated on the drive-thru line and totally ignored his order. He attempted to make eye contact with the employees to no avail. Finally, he says he sat on the counter and leaned over and looked at the food monitor and saw that it had been 12 minutes since he had ordered! He announced this loudly to the whole restaurant. I guess then finally the assistant manager came over and my friend demanded a refund. Which they gave him. I guess they offered him his food then as well but my friend refused it.(He is funny that way.) Anyway, I will NEVER ever go to this restaurant again and will make sure to tell all of my fast food junkie friends to avoid this restaurant as well. Harumph!
