The food is good as always, but the crew at this location is pretty lackadaisical. EXAMPLE: 2 times out of 3 when I’ve called in an order, the phone rings a dozen times and then I get a fax machine type squeal. I mentioned this to the girl at the counter tonight. Her rather nervous response. «Oh yeah. Well… uh… when it gets busy… we do that sometimes.» I think it’s time to find another burger joint.

Just stopped by for some milkshakes, first time. Shakes are delicious and the service was great. Their server was down so our credit Card would not work. Mark, the manager came out and personally apologized since they had to slide our Card several times and make us wait. We were in no hurry and we were just waiting for shakes. He did not charge us for The shakes. Delicious shakes, friendly staff, and wonderful customer service. Plan to also try the burgers next time.

This place makes great burgers. Especially if you like the mushroom burger. It is what it is as far as the décor everything is yellow or brown at least you get somewhere to sit and it is clean. The service has been a little hit or miss. The last time I went the guy was super nice but he was just filthy. It looked like he had been wearing the same shirt for a few days and his apron was all stained. He was very friendly and the order was made correctly I guees it is just hard work running the register and the kitchen at the same time. Tottaly forgiveable. I would go out of my way for the food here and do that on occasion. I like that it is not cheese burger centric. A lot of burger joints think that you must put cheese on every sandwich. Then you have to ask them to hold the cheese and they don’t get it right. This place has never messed up my special order and many of the sandwichs do not have cheese on them in in the first place. I found that this was a more classic and humble approach to Hamburg I am a dairy free Unilocaler and this place gets two slaps and a thumbs up.

Food Great — SERVICEATKENMOREISHORRIBLE — HORRIBLE — HORRIBLE — I go to all the Kidd Valleys(favorite on 25th Ave in Seattle Near UW) — The counter lady at Kirkland is always entertaining… Why does the one closest to my house SUCK for service EVERY time I try it… Cooks seem great but counter service is always screwed up… Gets my orders wrong — snarky attitude, rude. If it wasn’t for my sentimental attachment of eating these burgers since 1976(Freshman year @ UW) I would NEVEREVERRETURN… — I’m done with Kenmore location… NEVERAGAIN — You’ve screwed up my order for the last time…

Best Burgers in town! I’ve always liked Kidd Valley, we’ve been many times over the 10 years we’ve lived in Kenmore. The quality is pretty consistent and decent sized portions. We’ve had the Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers, Chicken Sandwich, Burger Dip, Fries, Onion Rings, Mushrooms and I’m sure a few more things on the menu. They all have been pretty good, I’ve never had anything that taste like old grease etc. The only item that I’ve had here that I’ve been a bit dissapointed with is the Fish Sandwich. Fish was thin and very«fishy». I guess you can’t win them all. Love the Banana shake. Dont forget to get the punch card and answer the question of the day for an extra punch.

Excellent food and large portions. Mostly a burger place but they do have chicken sandwiches too. Friendly atmosphere with 50’s music. Friendly hostess and chef. We will be back.

Don’t forget to bring your knife, fork and spoon. You’re going to need real silverware to fully enjoy your burger, mushrooms, fries and very thick milk shake. Kid valley is a delightful dining experience matched by only a few restaurants in the Puget sound region. See you there tomorrow.

«Was that it??!» Kenmore Kidd Valley was my first job, in high school, so it’s special to me. But– Things just keep changing(aka declining) and I don’t like change. I came here because I was craving the mushrooms and a burger. I know I’m going to sound like a fatty, but I left here after my $ 10 meal not very full, just in the barely satisfied ballpark. I mean usually when you eat here you leave really full and content but i finished my meal going«was that it?» NO! :( The chicken patty was teeny tiny. Really tiny. Must be a food cost thing. And the sampler had a very modest amount of mushrooms and onion rings– by the way, the mushrooms here are MYFAVORITE but they tasted different like the recipe changed maybe? I wanted to pig out and enjoy old favorites but I was left wanting more.

We tried the cheeseburgers, onion rings, garlic fries, and chocolate malt. My husband and I enjoyed the onion rings, fried, and malt, but we’re rather underwhelmed by the burgers. We’ll give them another shot sometime but it wasn’t good enough to be calling us back anytime soon.

I’ve been eating at Kidd Valley since I discovered them in my early teens, and I’ve never been disappointed. The burgers are incredibly yummy and are made right as you order. The french fries are light and fluffy with just the right amount of crisp in the bite. The staff are very considerate to big/complicated orders, and very friendly to every customer. This is my go-to-burger-joint, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

We were impressed by how good the burgers were for the price, and I would definitely recommend getting the garlic fries next time you’re there, they are absolutely smothered in garlic. I spotted that they also do milkshakes, which look amazing. The wait staff was friendly and the food came out fast and fresh. Would definitely go back.

For $ 4.39, I’d expect a great hamburger. No. Dry and tasteless, not enough of any sauce, and the iceberg lettuce was in large chunks. Fries(extra $) were tasteless too. I should have driven 3 more miles to Dick’s. I will never be back.

Usually a nice place, however last night came in and the woman behind the counter looked extremely unhappy with life in general especially while taking my order. Half way through she interrupted my order to yell and punch the register took a sec while huffing and puffing to her self, looked up and with mono tone«is that all?!» Errr I shouldve walked out… So we make it home to find my wife’s bacon burger had been charbroiled to a crisp yet the middle still basically raw. My burger dip was some how soggy(its just meat cheese and bread how is it soggy?!) Regardless we already paid and got all the way home no sense in waiting food and money. It didn’t taste bad that’s not the problem… … the next day was the problem… I’ll spare you the details. So after two shakes two fries a bacon burger and a burger dip totalled $ 28. + being sick the next day.

The best shakes around, including the rare Peanut Butter shake. Kidd Valley is a Northwest tradition, and this location is on of the oldest. Not just fast food, Kidd Valley gives personal attention to each order. While a bit more pricey than the big chains it is worth it for me.

For fast food, this is the bees knees. They have rad veggie burgers that always leave me happy and full. The portion sizes are huge and inexpensive, also! The only time I’ve ever been able to eat 1 burger and my half of the garlic fries was when I was pregnant. That’s saying a lot. I mean, it’s a little more expensive than regular fast food joints but the few dollars are worth it. It’s a friendly, quick, hassle-free experience. Five guys, I hope you’re taking notes!!!

I’m a fan of their burger dip, and recently had a craving. The burgers are good, the service at this location fast and friendly. Seating’s a tad limited, but for a small burger joint they’re perfect. Long time fan of Kidd Valley, even before Ivar’s bought ‘em. They’ve thankfully retained their quality and atmosphere.

I enjoy kidd valley bacon cheese burgers. They are juicy giant size burgers that are always fresh. The wait time is longer to enjoy them, but i prefer the taste of them and accepted the time it takes for the cooks to prepare them for me. I do enjoy the kidd valley near wedgewood the most, since that was my first kidd valley i ever went to and recently stopped by there and could be a bias thing but i thought the burgers served there was just a tad better than here in bothell. Price: It is a little bit to the expensive side, but most food cost more now.

The fresh milk shakes are great in this old fashioned hamburger stand. We ordered a bacon blue cheese burger for Lady Lorilei and a double cheddar bacon burger for me. Both of them were freshly made and hot. Soft buttered buns with sliced tomato and leaf not chopped lettuce. A nice lunch while we waited for a take home order elsewhere. The price is right if you are using the entertainment 2 for 1 coupons. The place is spotless and the staff is plenty friendly, give it a try and get happy.

Whatdafuq?! My friend is a burger guy. And I’m so glad he brought me here. After already tasting Dick’s Drive-In’s burgers I was told that I was in for a treat. It felt like I had been transported back to the 1950’s. The air was filled with the aroma of fresh beef being cooked and the sounds of Paul Anka, The Cadillacs and Little Richard. The staff was super friendly and as a Cali girl, I’m just not used to people being nice unless they want something. I had a regular cheeseburger which was the size of my head. I looked at my friend like, «Um, I don’t think I’ll be able to finish this.» Just like my jeans, I made it fit. Juicy, full of flavor and I had to stop to inform my friend across the way how grateful I was for being in the presence of such a magnificent culinary achievement. Thanks B. for sharing your chocolate shake with me. Oh, there I go drooling again.

Always love the deep-fried mushrooms at KV; hadnt been to the Kenmore store in a LONG time, stopped in today, had the Bacon cheese burger, strawberry milkshake and those fabulous mushrooms. Quick cheerful service, burger juicy lots of bacon and that flame-broiled char, and the batter on those mushrooms, ohhhhh, heaven. The interior here was clean but the decorator should be doing time at Monroe for his crime, hideous. Prices have always been high, but the ‘meal deal’ pricing leaves one wondering — doing the math I only got TENCENTS savings ordering the ‘meal deal’, cmon now! Hence you only get 4 stars.
