Pizza Hut

I love the pizza box dinner… Pizza, breadsticks, and cinnamon sticks! Pizza is hit and miss but most of the time it’s a hit!

¹⁰⁄₁₀ for taste. ⁷⁄₁₀ service. Most employees are amazing. Just had one bad experience with one grumpy bad employee

Done with this location, it’s worse than the one on the Blvd… that closed.
I took the kids last night for the Wednesday buffet, dining room was half full. We went up and got salads, got back to the booth, no flatware. A waitress brings our drinks, says, oh, you need settings. Yes, thanks. We sit there for 2 minutes, my kids start picking with their fingers. I flag the other waitress, can we please get forks? Another minute, and the lady that told me she would be right back brings out drinks for another table, and then proceeds to clear a table that just left. Again, the place was half full, so… where are the priorities?
Finally I go up and ask the manager, we have been seated with our salads for 5 minutes, would it be too much to get forks? Waitress finally brings some over, and makes the excuse that they are short silverware. Place is half full.
On top of all this, my daughter wants pasta. Pasta thing is empty. I want bread sticks, I kid you not, it’s empty. 4 pizza choices. woot! Either 3 employees called in, or something is majorly wrong with this location, it’s Wednesday buffet night, and the place, say it with me, was half full.
I wonder why?

I enjoy Pizza Hut lunch buffet. I feel like a kid again when I go here. It’s simple and cheap. I, for some odd reason, love the iceberg salad bar. I miss the green peas though (bring those back!)
Maybe I like it because it reminds me of half days in elementary school. The pizza goes quick because it’s usually packed with a lot of kids with parents who let them take as much as they want which usually ends up in the trash. End rant. Overall, it’s a good cheap lunch when you want pan type pizza.

Went there this evening and normally I wouldn’t. But I had a bunch of teens that wanted pizza. Kudos to our waitress, we had to be the loudest table and ordered the most good but she kept her cool. She had the food out to us fast and we didn’t have any issue with it. My only complaint would be that she just kept adding to our table and didn’t take empty stuff to help us out. But overall it was a better experience than what I have had in the past here.

Place had gone completely down hill. Probably the worst pizza hut in Erie county. Went there for buffet with the kids and they had 2 dessert pizzas and 4 pizzas with just veggies. Not one slice of just cheese or cheese and pep. Had to ask about it and the waitress blamed the cook in the back. Also no bread sticks, pasta looked like it was there from day before.
The pizza I did eat was soggy saucy and gross. Little Caesar’s would of been a better choice. It’s too bad I grew up going to this location.

I have been taking my kids here for lunch for years. We have always dealt with attentive staff. Just the last time my daughter and I went in we were greeted by a cook who immediately got the waitresses attention to seat us. The salad bar was fresh and tasty. We ordered pizza and bread sticks. Very good. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Love it there.

Yesterday my daughter and I were looking for a quick lunch. We agreed the Pizza Hut Buffet would hit the spot. We were only partly right. The place is clean and the salad side of the buffet is full of a fresh variety veggies, your choice of two lettuces and even cottage cheese, canned peaches and fresh hard boiled egg. All in all very nice. The pizza size, while it does offer several varieties of pizza and a pasta and sauce dish and garlic bread and cinnamon bread is awful. We tried a few slices of the different pizzas. Each one had a soggy bottom making them inedible. Even though we were only one of three occupied tables the waitress never came back to the table for drink refills. To make that even more annoying she did go up to the buffet and loaded up her own plate to take in to the back. For $ 7 I want more than a salad.

I knew that sooner or later I would review a lower end, possibly chain restaurant. Alas, here is my review of Pizza Hut!
So I grew up in Buffalo, and in the habit of eating greasy disgusting food, regularly ordered and even sometimes dined in at this Pizza Hut location. I haven’t visited this location in almost 5 years so I figured that upon my recent trip to Buffalo and during my pizza craving, I would stop by Pizza hut. It’s amazing how it’s been literally forever since I’ve been there and it’s the SAME people working there!!! What?! It’s been FIVE years!
The location is always super clean and they have a great buffet during the day (although, I have to admit, I am not quite sure if they do this anymore so call ahead of time and ask).
I remember the younger days of visiting Pizza hut after school with everyone and after the half day’s mozying on over for some greasy pizza. Fond memories of this location!
