I only went there because I tend to follow people and Kris said it was good. She has good taste! I had the shrimp tacos on a corn tortilla. Excellent. When I drove by one night and saw about 500 people there I said«I gotta check that place out» The waitress asked«if there was anything else she could do for me…» If we were in Mexico, absolutely! But for right now the check will be all… Now if anybody knows where to get REAL fish tacos please let me know. The closest I can find is in a restaurant in san Antonio on the riverwalk.

Delicious food with amazing service close to New Orleans airport. Couldnt have found better food within a mile of the airport. I couldnt eat half the delicious food on my plate. Full bar, huge selection of Latin dishes from around the World and cheap prices. Place was full all day when i went there and populated by other spanish-speaking only hispanics who knew what this food should taste like. I wasnt a fan however, of the beans and rice, they were very different from traditional mexican version.

Place is very nice LOOKING in a seedy part of Kenner and food IS yummy, rather unique that it has Mexican and El Salvidor foods. Now the bad– Prices are high, we were one couple out of a total of 7 guests during that time and service was slowwwwwwww. Also for $ 9 I don’t expect to get a margarita that lacked any booze that it turned into a clear snowball once sucked the margarita mix(not even real limes) out of the small glass. Pupusas were excellent as were the soft tacos my wife got. Will not return as we left HUNGRY and stone cold SOBER after blowing $ 70.

We stopped here to grab a quick bite and it completely exceeded my expectations. The place is huge, clean, and had a large selection of liquor and cocktails. They also have a full bar and will make anything you’d like. We ordered the skirt steak tacos, the carnitas tacos, and the house margarita. Everything was delicious and the quality of the steak was excellent. Our server was extremely helpful, nice, and pleasant to speak to. I would definitely come here again.

My fiancé and I were looking for new restaurants and stumbled across this listing. We checked it out before a movie on a Saturday night. They stayed fairly busy the whole time we were there. The food was excellent! We got yucca frita appetizer, he got a pupusa plate and I got a mixed grill plate. The meats were flavorful, the plantains were excellent, and he really liked his meal as well. We will certainly be back! Our only complaint was that the food and service were very slow– we almost missed our movie.

One of the more legit Mexican joints I’ve found in New Orleans. The tacos are classic style as they should be. I’m super stoked to have found this place. Their Al Pastor is fantastic. ^_^

BLUF: Amazing latina food with typical menu from numerous central american countries. Banging pupusas and yucca. This place is only a mile or so from the airport. My wife and I have decided that we are going to go here every time we have the time on trips or dropping off friends. Place is awesome. Big menu and some meals let you know which is from which country which is nice. I lived in Honduras for over 2 years and a couple of their dishes are represented by I got the pupusas which are mainly from El Salvador.(You can get them outside of El Salvador but they are usually nowhere near as good). These pupusas were crazy good. We got the order of 5; 2 cheese, 2 beans and cheese and 1 meat and cheese. Amazing. They were all amazing. Tons of cheese. The pupusas were not as sturdy as in El Salvador so they require a fork and knife. Amazing. Got the fried plantains which were also great. Simple and great. Got the fried yucca with ensalada and chicharones. The yucca was awesome(kinda like a potato) and it was very lightly fried(not like a french fry). It was great and so was the ensalada(pickled cabbage and veggies). The chicarones were terrible so I would advise against getting those. Ineddible. Haha. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice with bachata on the radio and Telavision on the tv. I cant wait to go back. Not sure if I will stick with the pupusas or try something else. Maybe both.

Outside looks not so great, inside is clean, spacious & modestly decorated. Food & service are amazing!!! My friend took me here a while ago when I first moved here for the pupusas but I didn’t know the area well & couldn’t find my way back. We went there randomly this evening for a friends birthday. there were 11 of us, service was great(the last lady to get food likely didn’t think quite as much but 9⁄11 plates came out at the same time). I had the cheese & mixed(cheese & pork) pupusa, they were as amazing as they were 4 years ago! Standard chips, their table salsa was excellent! Everyone else seemed very pleased, high praise for the beans(tho I don’t eat em). Great selection on their menu! Now that I know my way around, I’ll be visiting frequently!

Clean and spacious restaurant. Staff was friendly enough. Menu had various Mexican, Honduran and Salvadoran dishes. Ordered Doritas favorite which came with 2 pupusas, plantains, rice and beans. It was all fresh and looked delicious! Unfortunately it lacked flavor. I took a few bites, ate one pupusa and gave the rest away. It was almost $ 9 for that plate. My dad had soup. Tripe soup. He said it lacked flavor and the meat was hard. Oh well we tried it and won’t be returning.

For breakfast their huevos rancheros are excellent! For dinner I love their chile relleno, they have one of the best in the city.

My mother’s birthday dinner for 18 was awesome! The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was soooo good! I want to thank the staff for taking care of our big family so well. Fiesta is one of our most favorite restaurants, it’s where my mom loves coming to for her birthday. The platanos and beans are the best here! The pupusas are only $ 7.95 for 5 and that’s a bargain. The Mexican tortas yum! My brother“s chicken and chorizo plate was amazing. It’s our own little Latin jewel here in Kenner!

I went for Taco Tuesday, five tacos for $ 5 .They were pretty good. I didn’t really like the salsa pretty average and sweet tasting, not all spicy .It tasted like there was sugar in it .The website is out of date too. The website says a dollar and nine cents a Taco on Tuesday .But you can’t just get 3 or 4 or 6 .You have to get 5…

So good! This place has been consistent for years! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but if you want really good, authentic central/Mexican foods and large portions, here go here!

I’ll give it five stars, but they need to work on the ambiance. Let’s talk about the food. We ordered 10 pupusas, 5 with cheese and 5 with beans. They delicious, not too greasy, well cooked and tasty. Also, we ordered yuca frita, fried yuca, which was fried to order. It was nice and crispy. I’ll highly recommend it. The service was good. Our waitress was not intrusive nor over attentive. We are a Salvadorean family. My fiancé and I are very particular when it comes to eating pupusas at restaurant; however, this place nailed it. Can’t wait to go back and try something else…

I was in town for work and wasn’t really located in a good area for restaurants. So, I checked my Unilocal app and found this gem. This isn’t located in the greatest part of town. So, I wouldn’t recommend a single lady going alone at night, but then again I’m from out of town. I ordered a pupusa with beans and cheese. I’ve never had once before to tell you if this is authentic, but judging by the décor and the people serving — it is. It is also mighty tasty. I could have seriously eaten a heck of a lot more of them. I also ordered the Carne Asada lunch plate. The meat had great flavor, but it was pretty tough and kinda fatty. Some people like that type of meat. Turns out that I don’t. It came with more refried beans, some white rice, and a salad that tasted like it had 1,000 Island Dressing on it(not good). The wait staff was super nice, and those pupusas were super tasty. I see me coming back to get more of those when I’m in town next.

My wife and I tried Fiesta Latina for dinner one night while craving some Mexican food. We walked in and the restaurant was empty at around 7pm(which is usually a red flag but we tried it anyways). While deciding what to order from the diverse menu(Mexican, Salvadoran, & Central American food) we thoroughly enjoyed the free chips and salsa and got some good recommendations from the friendly bartender/waitress. I decided to try the carne asada fiesta burrito(I was elated to find a mexican restaurant that offers this) and my wife had the cheese and pork pupusas. They were both pretty tasty! I think my wife and I enjoyed the refried beans that came with her meal the most! I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again but we enjoyed our meal!

First off… 5 pupusas for $ 5. Can’t beat that. Be sure to split between at least 2 people, though, because they are super filling! Convenient location for me, right near the corner of Williams & Airline in Kenner. Friendly staff, great value, and fantastic food. Highly recommended, especially for lunch — dine in or takeout.

Fiesta Latina is my go — to spot for pupusas, especially since La Profecia closed. The chips and salsa are very good as well. They serve Fresca Toronja to which is awesome. I have not tried anything else.

Ok, so my Venezuelan friend says I want to take you to a good Spanish restaurant and so of course the foodie in me says hell yeah! she takes me to a side of town I dont see very often and ill leave it at that. we sit by an empty stage? and the waitress comes up to take our drink order. I order a very white girl drink, iced tea. It ended up being sweet tea but I drank the liquid sugar anyway. We ordered the pork and cheese papusas, fried plantains and the sopa de marisco(seafood soup) everything was amazing! Im still dreaming about the broth. The plantains are served with crème fraîche(american terminology) and are heaven in your mouth. The papusas were good but I think next time I either wont order them again or ill doctor them up a bit. The soup contained white fish(prob tilapia), tons of shrimp, mussels and celery and onions in a coconut milk broth. Yummy! 3 people can easily share it and I happily ate my leftovers the next day. I def will return. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars bc of the décor/atmosphere. Mexican items are on the menu as well As far as the stage, it used to be a club at night but it got too rowdy
