When I walked in and looked over the menu, Giselle could tell I was lost. «First time here?» — how could you tell? I asked«what’s good?» She told me the chicken, the beef kabobs, etc. are all popular. Then she told me about the Nola Nica Burger. OHMY!!! It was amazing. I loved everything on it. And why have fries when you can have yucca fritters! Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. My only regret is that I’m only eating one meal here today.

Great food, friendly and quick service. I had the nolanica burger and yucca fritters. Both were the delicious, a delicious unique take on an American classic. Prices were fair, if not cheaper than fair. Thus was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back.

First time here, but it won’t be my last. Skip the overpriced food in the airport and come support this family-owned business. I had pork, and it was nice and juicy. Really friendly owner — very helpful in helping you choose.

Really happy with this place. Went with whole family 20 of us and that filled up the restaurant. Good flavor and great prices. Get the Fritanga. It’s enough to feed 4 people. And it’s only $ 12.75.

If you are near the airport or Alliance Ave when they are open, you have to try them. The food is all fresh and every bite is packed with flavor. They are so sweet & welcoming – truly happy to have you. They have already made me several different vegan meals in the short time they have been open. Carlos tells me to call ahead so he can prep a better vegan dish just for me, but I have yet to do so. Nonetheless, everything he has done on the fly or from the menu has been great, and his sweet plantains(maduros) are always perfect! I have taken coworkers and friends who all really enjoyed their plates, as well. Definitely my new favorite lunch spot. No liquor(yet), but you can bring something if you’d like. The strip mall faces Minden St. and backs up to the Kash-N-Karry filling station, so it might be easy to miss… but it’s worth turning around.

Fresh, delicious food made with lots of love by Carlos! Great counter service from Giselle his sister… the fritanga allows you to try a little of everything and is so huge two people can eat off of it!

Today I tried the Vigoron with a side of Maduro — two words — THEBEST!!! If you are Nicaraguan or want to try something amazing, coming here is like going to Nicaragua and eating! It’s authentic, it’s amazing, and the staff is great. The Cashier, Giselle, even remembered me by name! I felt so much at home at NolaNica.
