Walked up evidently about 10 minutes after closing right before Carnival season kicked off. I had been to a couple bakeries before this. A man outside said they were closed and I was a bit frustrated and mumbled that I just needed a damn king cake. He overheard me and could obviously tell I was frustrated. He said. «let me see, I may be able to help.» He unlocked the door and went in the back. Came out about 15 minutes later with a warm, freshly topped king cake. It was very very much appreciated. People don’t do things like this often. He has my business for life.

Seems to be a ma and pa type place where the locals go. My wife and I got an egg sandwich, and a honey bun. the sandwich wasnt anything special, but definitely request the honeybun made local style, with butter on top and warm. The biggest turn off was the fruit flies flying around… could be much better if kept cleaner.

Figured all tastees were the same. Well, they are NOT! The apple fritter was soggy and not fresh. I tried to order a café au latte no one knew how to make them, when they advertise«try out NEW frozen coffees» and caffe au lattes Service is slow and limited. Go to another store, this one is no good. Attitudes
