I absolutely love this place. It has a fun and friendly atmosphere. The food and staff are always great. I’m reminded of my stays at the Xanadu in the Bahamas.

I only come here ever so often! But the food is always amazing and the service is always perfect! I love their lemonades! And their jerk chicken! This is a great place to bring the family especially on the summer nights!

I like a dark ambiance, but this location was a little too dark. My father had trouble reading the menu. We ordered coconut shrimp and beef empanadas for an appetizer and both were excellent. Dinner was a different story though. The mashed potatoes weren’t very soft, there were waaaaay too many peppers in all of the dishes, and the green beans tasted like toilet(the only way I can honestly describe them). I expected a lot more from Bahama Breeze because I’ve been to a different location and the food was excellent, but I was disappointed with this experience.

I’ve definitely had better, I have never been surprised by this place. The food is OK, i’d definitely rather go somewhere else to eat however. All the sauces taste canned and don’t taste fresh, the fish is definitely frozen, if it’s not, then it’s definitely not fresh. Atmosphere is so-so, needs some work in my opinion. The staff has always been great here though.

I have been here 3 times now and it is just never really good. Seafood is not fresh and always overdone. It is not good for the money that it costs either.

Bahama Breeze I’ve been told is a chain restaurant but we see it all the time when we drive by Kennesaw and we finally got to check it out one day. I will say that the indoor décor is very tropical and we felt like we were on vacation when we walked in. The drink menu is very extensive and if I wasn’t such a lightweight, I would have gotten a drink or two! We went on a Friday night and they had a live band outdoors which I thought was a nice touch to the place. The food is decent. I think it’s better than Applebee’s/Chillis, but it really depends on what you get. For instance, my husband got the Paella and it was AMAZING but I got the grilled salmon and it was really sub-par and nothing special. So, get the seafood paella, get some pina coladas, sit outside, and pretend you are on vacation!

One of my favorite restaurant environments and very friendly staff. The jerk chicken pasta is delicious and the jerk chicken wing appetizer is great too!

Great drinks but the food left me wanting more freshness and taste. Some of the food tasted microwaved.

Bahama Breeze reminds me of suburban restaurant chains like Applebee’s, Chili’s, Ruby Tuesday, and TGI Fridays except with a Caribbean theme. It’s an American chain, popular with families, and the restaurants are designed to look like mini island resorts. This Bahama Breeze in Kennesaw on busy Barrett Parkway has been around for several years. It’s not as nice as other Bahama Breeze locations I’ve seen(e.g. no palm trees outside), but it’s still festively decorated inside with colorful floral patterns, airy architecture, and an enclosed patio complete with a mini fire pit. There are multiple areas of seating and live music at night during the weekend. I stopped in for a weekday lunch where salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, pork, fish, and shrimp entrees make up the majority of the menu. Expect to spend at least $ 10 at lunch, though you’ll have to shell out a few dollars more for their specialty dishes like wood-grilled chicken and coconut shrimp. They also have a fresh fish of the day which you can wood-grilled, like the chicken, or sauteed. Dinner entrees can reach upwards of about $ 20(filet mignon, lobster and shrimp linguini). Note all appetizers are half price during non-peak periods: Monday-Friday from 4−6pm and Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-close. I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken entrée($ 13.99). Portion size was generous. It consisted of a half chicken, roasted, and was served with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. The chicken wasn’t bad. It was a little dry, but sufficiently marinated in jerk spices, so the flavoring was good. Spiciness level was mild. The rice and beans were OK, filling. The plantains were probably the best part of the meal. Plump, ripe, and sweet. My tablemates seemed satisfied with their orders. One person had the Cuban Sandwich, which looked decent. When you order a sandwich or burger, you get a choice of side from items such as fries or beans and rice. One of the more interesting sides is their fruit salad which comes with a Haagen-Dazs mango sorbet. I didn’t try any, but it looked tasty. I’d give it a try if I came back. Another person had a lunch portion of the Coconut Shrimp, which were jumbo, breaded, and fried. It came with an ordinary-looking side salad. Service was satisfactory during a busy lunch hour. Bahama Breeze isn’t located far from I-75 exit 269(Barrett Parkway/Kennesaw), so it’s easily accessible from the highway. The restaurant is in its own standalone building in front of the Town Center Commons shopping center with Dick’s Sporting Goods, Original Mattress Factory, and Shane Co. Ample parking.

A big chain without a lot of actual island flavor, but with great service. I came here with a friend to celebrate having said«yes» to the dress, and we sat at the bar. I visited the North Point Mall location as a kid, but it was so long ago I don’t remember details. Because we didn’t want to spoil our dinners, my friend and I ordered a drink and split the chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was really good! Lots of good flavor and fresh veggies, without being overly cheesy. I’d come back and order it again. I had the Yaka Hula Hickey Dula to drink. It’s a Hawaiian drink with dark rum, Reisling and pineapple juice; something I hadn’t tried before. It was really good, not too sweet, and deceitfully strong. In other words, just the way I like it! And the slices of fresh pineapple were a good touch! My friend had a piña colada and enjoyed it. I had a sip and it tasted pretty authentic. Also served with a huge slice of pineapple. And, the bartenders were really friendly. Despite being busy with almost every chair full, they remained calm and made everyone feel like they were the most important customer in the restaurant. Definitely a great experience! I can’t give Bahama Breeze more than 3 stars because: 1. I feel the food is overpriced. $ 11 is too much for one quesadilla. 2. It’s overly commercial. I prefer smaller restaurants to big chains. 3. I’m confused by the theme/atmosphere they are tying to convey. The name makes me think Caribbean, but they offer dishes from anything island-related. My drink was Hawaiian, quesadillas are Mexican… It’s confusing. Everything was really good, but this isn’t a place I’ll visit too often. I’d rather spend my money at an independently owned or small, local restaurant than a big chain like this.

This was my second time visiting bahama breeze. Both times were great. I enjoyed the food and the drinks. Service was good too. I wish there were more than two locations in Ga but luckily, since I’ve moved, the Kennesaw location isn’t too far so I’ll definitely return. No complaints.

The food here is not nearly as good as the one at the Gwinnett location and the drinks aren’t as stiff, either. The chicken empanadas had meat so dark that I’d swear it was beef. They insisted that it wasnt but I’m not convinced. I also had the conch fritters and had they actually been warm I think I would have enjoyed them. The pineapple dipping sauce seems to make everything better. I’ve had jerk chicken pasta over a dozen times at various locations and this one was by far the worst. The sauce was very runny, chicken unseasoned, and noodles overcooked. I arrived at noon and was advised that I could not have a drink until 12:30(backwards blue laws in Ga). I was offered a virgin drink instead, no thanks. If I’m going to have empty calories they may as well be stiff. At 12:29, a young lady brings an ultimate pita colada with hardly any rum in it, rounding out one of the most anticlimactic meals ever Terribly disappointed overall and highly unlikely that I’ll return. BB is usually one of my fav eateries and I drove out of my way to have it this day. My server was attentive and pleasant. She’s the only reason I did not give this visit one star.

Waited quite along time for our food. Everything looked really good but just mediocre in taste. The servers were very clumsy… a topple here, a topple there. It was just an ok experience, I’m not a fan.

We decided to try Bahama Breeze because we were given a gift card. So glad we did. Everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the live entertainment was good. We started with the chicken tortilla soup. It was delicious! I had the wood grilled chicken breast with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes. My husband had the tilapia. Both entrees were flavorful and filling. This will be a new favorite restaurant for us!

Plenty of parking once you get off the chaotic Barret Parkway. We were seated right away, the hostess was friendly, our server was nice and had a positive attitude. She gave some recommendations and provided the right level of service, didn’t hover, and made sure we had what we needed. We ordered the chicken tostones and they were delicious, heavy on the plantain but light on the chicken. The flavor was great. We also had the ultimate piña colada which was tasty and just the right amount of rum. Overall it was a positive experience and I’m certain we’ll be there again.

So as we all know service is one of the most important things we look for when we go out. This place has some of the worst service I have ever received. I won’t even go into details. It just is not something I would pay for. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the food was decent. Not that anything in the menu is complex or stands out in any way what so ever. If you have a special occasion I would recommend you go somewhere else. Oh and my menu had pieces of food and greasy finger prints all over it.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. When we arrived it was busy with a long wait for a table. So, we sat at the bar and glad we did because we got waited on before we could get comfortable in our seat. So customer service was A +. I ordered a the Key West Fish tacos with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes was so good that I wanted to swallow it whole without chewing but, I did it anyway. The key west tacos was served in a steel upright for all 3 to stand up without spilling on the plate. It’s located within a couple blocks off Interstate 75 on Barrett Parkway. I found a parking place right in front of the restaurant. This made for easy access when leaving.

Living off Barrett Parkway has taught me a couple of things about myself. I really enjoy chain restaurants. That being said, Bahama Breeze is a chain restaurant with really good food and a really good drink menu. It seems standard that these restaurants off the main strip are all decent food. Places like Jason’s Deli, Provinos, Bahama Breeze and Olive Garden are all known for their specific, yet generic food. This Bahama Breeze is probably one of the best I’ve ever been to. Go to another Bahama Breeze, expect the same menu, but don’t expect the same service. The service here is wonderful. The staff is really upbeat and tries their best to serve your every need. Good service is hard to find in a college town. Beside the good service, if you live in the area, check your mail. Bahama Breeze will occasionally send out coupons just to be nice. I got $ 10 dollars off my meal today just by checking my mail and discovering a $ 10 gift card! Thanks Bahama Breeze!
