A restaurant specializing in chicken salad… how awesome is that!!! 15 flavors from which to choose… WOW! $ 10.99 a pound. I believe when we first started coming here, it was only $ 9.99 a pound. Have been going here since right after they opened, but forget to check in… getting older is highly overrated… LOL :D Their chicken salad variety is wonderful, and NO onions, except for one… Dixie Chick… Ick :D We’ve tried 5 of the salads, and our favorites are Jalapeño Holly, and Buffalo Barclay. The Original is also very good. Fruity Fran, and Fancy Nancy are a nice change since they have apples and grapes, apples, grapes and pecans respectively. The Jalapeño Holly has just the right amount of jalapenos. So, if you love jalapenos, and like it a bit hot and spicy, then this one is for you. This is my favorite one… I crave it, but try to be good, since there’s mayonnaise in every salad. Why are the good things in life always fattening? :D Buffalo Barclay… delicious! Has the flavor of the beloved Buffalo chicken wing, but no bones. We’ve also tried the Chick Trio platter. Your choice of 3 chicken salads, on top of ONE leaf of lettuce… in my opinion, at least one or two more leaves wouldn’t kill them. Comes with a few packets of crackers, and a pickle spear. I’ll forfeit the pickle spear for another leaf or two of lettuce. :) Had their pasta salad, and it was very tasty. Their gourmet soups are delicious. My favorite is Chicken Florentine with artichoke hearts, spinach, chicken, and a lot of other goodies. My husband brought home a quart when I was sick. A bit pricey at around $ 11.00-$ 12.00, if I’m not mistaken. They also offer 4 kinds of sandwiches… Turkey Hoagie, Cajun Roast Beef, Virginia Ham, and Pimento cheese. There are side items available as well such as Broccoli Salad, Grape Salad, Pasta Salad, and Fresh Fruit. They offer bags of chips, and a «Cookie of the Day.» The only thing I’d like to see would be having 2 types of chicken. Some chunky pieces, and the original way they make it. I think it would create a nice texture with the 2 types combined. It’s nice inside, clean, and the staff is friendly, and courteous. I think this is restaurant concept is a great idea. Most people like chicken salad, and here you have a plethora from which to choose. I LOVE this place, and recommend it to any chicken salad junkie, like me :)

Three different people got three different salads and all people wanted to get some for later. I don’t know what more could be asked of a restaurant. Service was good, with cashier offering suggestions when asked. Snickerdoodle also made my day just a little brighter wish I lived in Marrieta because I’d give them a lot of business

I have been in the mood for Chicken Salad for several weeks now and so far have not found anything worth having till today. This is my first time at this place and didnt know what to expect. I thought if they named the place after what i was looking for it Must be good. There were lots of people there enjoying lunch. Everything was clean and professional, but because i saw no people with wicked tattoos, no engine parts from a 1972 Pontiac Catalina, and no Motorcycles hanging on the walls, i felt somewhat«Out Of Place». I spoke with the cashier who suggested i may like Olivia’s Old South. I grabbed a pound from the chest, stopped by Publix for some 5 grain bread and swiss cheese and headed home to make myself a feast. The cashier was right, Olivias Old South was awesome and i will be going back for more. If you dont like a certain type of chicken salad chances are there is something you will like right next to it. With so many different recipes how can you go wrong? I will be a regular customer.

I thought I’d give this place a try. I got the classic carol on sourdough bread as a combo with pasta salad and cookie. Drink was extra. First, I dislike places that don’t include a drink in a combo. They don’t call it a combo and I know other establishments don’t include a drink in their combo-like things either but include the drink, please. The sandwich was okay. Chickflia has better chicken salad and they don’t specialize in it. I went for lunch saturday while out shopping. Parking is a hot mess. The place had decent speed of service for the decent sized crowd. But honestly, I don’t get the allure and I probably won’t go back.

I am seriously impressed! The service was by far the best I’ve had in a long time ANYWHERE! The girls working tonight were so friendly and helpful since this was my first visit! The menu was exciting. Restaurant extremely clean and the food was everything I had hoped for. I’m pregnant and have been craving a certain kind of chicken salad that I had yet to find to satisfy my craving… until tonight!!! I will most definitely be a regular here. I have to stress again how amazing the staff was tonight! Chicken Salad Chick is definitely doing something right when they are hiring!!!

This is my go to lunch spot, I love this place but it is so expensive! Today, I came in around 1:40pm for lunch and waited at the register for about 3 minutes… Without being helped. Multiple employees stocking and helping in the dining room but nobody came to the register… The manager saw me and came walking up, no smiles, no apology. You could tell he was aggravated that he had to be the one to help me. A female employee came running up laughing that she would get it and he just walked off. Never said a word to me… Rude. Not pleased with today. The customer service here hasn’t been the best the last couple of times I’ve been here.

First experience here was a good one. My family and I were offered sames of the chicken salad flavors. There are many varieties. I settled on the Fancy Nancy which had grapes and nuts and I got it on a croissant. Very good. The cashiers were helpful and sweet. The cups are an interesting blend of foam and paper and I liked the feel. The restaurant was clean and very family friendly. My child is very picky and he was able to get a go to favorite pb&j sandwich. They sell their numerous chicken salad varieties by the pound as well.

Rude Cashiers. Been here many times and never have been treated so rudely for asking questions.

If your menu says you have over 10 varieties of chicken salad you should have them all available. I went in and only 3 were available. There were 5 people in line with me that all left without ordering. I doubt know I’d it’s poorly run or if that’s how they do business. I so wanted to love this place

You’ve probably never been to a restaurant that specializes in chicken salad, so you might as well give it a go. Pros: good variety, excellent service, super cute/clean Cons: you are paying ten bucks for chicken and crackers… I’d imagine there are more filling options than the trio but be warned if you go for the trio, it’ll feel more like a sampler as opposed to a full blown meal.

The sandwiches are good but small for the price. The chicken salad was on the drier side. Not somewhere I would seek out or make a special drive to go.

This place was surprisingly good. They had tons of variety to choose from. I’ve never seen so many options for different kinds of chicken salad! I got the buffalo chicken salad on a hoagie and their artichoke soup. It was really tasty and I ate the whole thing! Plus two cookies. Oops! Oh well, totally worth it.

I go here about twice a week. I keeping trying the different flavors of chicken salads. My favorite is Jalepaño Holly. Their pimento cheese is great. It’s a little pricey.

I really wanted to love this place, but I was sorely disappointed. The staff was very friendly and the store looked very clean and dainty. Service was very fast and delightful. Sadly, everything fell apart after my first bite into my Fancy Nancy chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread. The whole thing was so dry and flavorless. I was expecting to bite into gooey richness and at the very least expected my bread to be toasted, but that wasn’t the case. Even the soup of the day, the broccoli and cheddar soup, left a lot to be desired. In comparison, Panera’s soup equivalent blows this one away. Out of the whole meal, the cookie was the best– which doesn’t say much since it too could have been better. I’m not opposed to trying again, but we really have to work on the flavor.

In the category of fast-casual chicken salad restaurants, The Chick is the best. Five stars. Great chicken salad — flavor, texture, consistency. Classic Carol was … classically good. Kickin’ Kay Lynn, although not very kickin’, is delicious and offered a good counterpoint to the classic. Dining companion had sandwich with Jalapeño Holly — reported satisfaction and ‘a bit of kick’. Very tasty broccoli salad side but mostly — OK partly — because of the bacon. I do like broccoli. Nice setup. Two middle rows of booths available that have a high enough wall from those in the other row to avoid being distracted by others. Some regular four tops, too. Tastefully appointed space, and quiet without being tomb-like. Very pleasant ambiance which makes this a good spot to lunch with friends or coworkers. Not too expensive, really. The trio for $ 8.50 was quite filling.

This place is super cute. I didn’t know what to expect upon arriving to the shopping center and not getting a lot of curb appeal, but the interior of Chicken Salad Chick is warm, welcoming, and definitely Southern: green walls with homey touches and flowers everywhere. Definitely made by a women for other women(and the men who accompany them). This is a counter-service restaurant where you place your order with the super friendly customer service reps(who also provide tons of samples), then sit down for them to bring your meal to you. And when I say super friendly, I mean they have never-ending patience for those of us who stand there and gawk at the dozen or so chicken salad varieties, provide suggestions, and make sure you’re getting something good to eat. They helped me pick the Olivia’s Southern Style with eggs and pickles, and for the fiancé to get one with apples and grapes. Both of our sandwiches came out on croissants with lettuce, and we also got some fruit and broccoli salad as sides. The chicken salad was really good, and not loaded with tons of mayo; I could taste enough of the pickles and egg without it being overwhelming. Our fruit bowl was originally prepared without any blueberries, and instead of giving us extras, they just fixed a whole new bowl for us! So we basically got a whole bowl of good fruit(strawberries, blueberries and grapes) for each of us! The broccoli salad was pretty good, too. Prepared with bacon and served with a light, non-mayo dressing and some cheddar cheese. The only thing I’d change for my next visit is to get the chicken salad by itself or on different bread because I thought the croissants were too dense for my liking. We could see they use Pepperidge Farm bread, and I bet I’ll enjoy that more. Oh, and did I mention the music in there was great? I heard Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys while we were eating, and I didn’t hate it! Yes, I’ll be back when my next chicken salad craving hits! Or when my future mother-in-law comes into town because she will love this place!

Was very impressed with the entire experience. Staff was super helpful and even offered samples for us newbies. Setting is bright and fun. Food was excellent. I ordered the nutti nana(little too much cashew for my liking but still very good). Not over powering with mayo. The broccoli salad was out of this world. Loved the tangy vinegar dressing… very subtle and not over powering like most. My friend had the jalapeño holly and loved it. Priced a little high for lunch with the meal but definitely filing and they have smaller portions for a lighter lunch. Will definitely be back again.

Had been wanting to try this place — but was too lazy to drive over to Roswell Road. When I saw the sign, off Barrett Pkwy — I actually thought I was hallucinating. They’ve only been open for 5 days. Not sure about how healthy it is — since it’s drenched in mayo — but its sooooo goood. The staff was friendly — YAY!(Though one of the chefs /cooks /whatever you call him got a little belligerent with the cashier when she questioned him about the sample he handed her. Ultimately, he was wrong, see below. I sampled a couple of things: Mimi’s Mix(with Fuji apples and cashews) Fancy Nancy(with Fuji apples, pecans and seedless grapes) Cranberry Kelli(with cranberries and slivered almonds) And ultimately purchased a pound of Cranberry Kelli — which was funny — because I was mistakenly given a sample of this instead of the Fancy Nancy initially. To, once again, quote Arnold S — I’ll b bach! I definitely want to try one of the spicy offerings: Kickin’ Kay Lynne(buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese & jalapenos) Jazzy Julie(cayenne pepper, bacon & shredded cheddar cheese) Sassy Scotty(ranch, bacon & shredded cheddar cheese)
