Yummy!!! I LOVE this place~ Food is so amazing and the people are so nice and I am one of those B* that can’t deal with lack of customer service. You can find negris for a dollar… 2 dollars… It’s insane~ and OMG their noodle soups are just so out of the world!!! Been here almost daily during my business trip for two weeks in Kennesaw area. I didn’t care to try others because I used to live in the area and I struggled finding a decent Japanese restaurant… Thank u Unilocalers once again for guiding me to this place. Decided to try it out since it was most Unilocaled Japanese restaurant in the area, and surly enough … Again it was so Stanken amazing delicious with a bill that had me going… Really? For all that food? I love you guys and I’ll be back!!! What shall i say when i am one stuffed happy mama with still money on the bank~ that’s right shorty you know you like that!!!

Consistently amazing food. We come here ALL the time! If Trey is working, definitely sit with him. He always takes care of us and makes sure we have a good experience. We only ever get sushi but the Spider and Volcano rolls are our favorite. Try all of them though. We have yet to be disappointed! Their lunch specials are awesome and you can order a miso soup or ginger salad on the side for only $ 1.50! You can NOT beat that! Definitely give Kuroshio a try! You’ll love it :)

Eh, I wasn’t thrilled with this place. The hubs and I went one day for lunch and it did not live up to the hype. We got the soft shelled crab appetizer and a combination plate to share. Everything was pretty bland. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. The only thing that I really liked was the unagi roll, it was good.

I tend to only scribe reviews when I’m super pleased. Well, this experience had quite a few«shortcomings» but a plethora of greatness, too. I’m going to focus on the yummyness because I believe there was just a lack of comms and they accidentally had my chirashi boxed up as a «to go» which delayed it for about 15 minutes while my mom got received her chicken teriyaki, within about 2 minutes! Luckily the salads and nibbling on her veggies– simply delish!!! Very well prepared. My chirashi bowl, when it finally came, was extremely pleasing. I value freshness, variety, texture and presentation with my sashimi– and it was all there. For an excellent price! And the wasabi was just how I like it– killer. I even had some bits of a roll– was massive and I couldn’t finish it but it was phenomenal and they ditched the cream cheese and added cucumber upon request. Oddly, though, my moms egg roll order didn’t make it to the table till the end– when we intended them as an app. They were yummy enough with a few nibbles but not out of this world or something. Ambiance was nice. A big, open area with lots of varied seating options. Service was pleasant, albeit tardy, and… well…I want more! Like now!

The food is good but the staff are rude. I have tried several times to give them another chance but they never fail at disappointing me. I never even get past the hostess who’s job is to deter your entry at dinner hours. Each time I have been counseled for coming an hour before closing and that they may not be able to accommodate my group… they need to adjust their hours to OPEN&ACCEPTINGNEWENTRIES as there seems to be a difference… They should take note of the closing businesses around them…

Just not enough words to describe the awesomeness that is Kuroshio’s. I work near their Kennesaw restaurant and try to get there once a week if I can help it. This place is friendly to those that don’t always eat sushi and if you are willing to give it a try you may just find that you have a new food in your staple. Delicious rolls, great soups — their ginger dressing on the house salad is terrific! The chicken katsu and chicken fried rice and also salmon fried rice are awesome items if you are looking for something hot. They have a good staff although at times things seem to get a little slow coming from the kitchen. However that said, everything seems to always work out and I can’t recall ever having left without a happy tummy and smile on my face.

My favorite Japanese restaurant. When I say Japanese I am definitely referring to sushi. Make sure to start your meal with some egg rolls. They are super juicy from the inside and super crunchy from the outside. Sushi rolls are beyond great. Our favorites are volcano, cha cha, drunken tiger and big daddy. Their menu has description of each roll and there are some pictures too. Service is okay. I was never very satisfied but never had a complaint. They basically don’t leave you with a great impression to remember. Sushi prices range from $ 8 – 13. The scorpion roll is for $ 16 but it is double roll. Give this place a shot and you will be happy

Yummy! All the rolls and sushi were nice on the eyes and on the tummy. I think the fried rice really shined because I don’t usually get fried rice at a sushi place. It was reminiscent of teppan-side Benihana status fried rice. Definitely going to crave this. I would recommend coming in when it’s not too crowded because he service was very personal and on point! Will be coming back when I am back it the ATL

We have not had a bad sushi experience here. Even our children love sushi now. I highly recommend the hot wok shrimp and the valentine roll. Whether you like cooked or raw sushi there is definitely a roll for you here. We haven’t tried any cooked dishes since we love the sushi so much but from what we’ve seen walk past us there are some tasty options. And a plus is they serve kagen water in chilled glasses amazing…

Came here when I visited ATL. We were all craving some good sushi and found this spot through Unilocal.I’m kinda picky when it comes to sushi since I’m spoiled by places in LA but the food and service was grrreat! Everything we ordered was really good. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Today’s review is brought to you by my wife: the Sushi Freak! She is super picky and has avery high expectations for sushi. The variety is amazing and the taste is fabulous. She has not spoken in a while, so that means everything is delicious! I had some fried shrimp dumplings and the best tempura onion ever. Enjoy!

Very good service and very good food. We had a taste for sushi and stopped in for a minute. The waitress as always was very friendly. I need to get her name because she is on top of it!!! I recommend the cajun crawfish roll very very good. I also had the sea bass. I thought that I ordered it tempura style but I got some sort of grilled fish and it was very good(I didn’t need the fried food anyway. .lol). As always the egg roll was very good. A give this 5 stars because when the waitress found out it was my daughters birthday she offered her some ice cream. We were NOT ready fir what she have us! !!! OMG. … one of the BEST fried ice cream we’ve ever had. … it has ice cream in the middle, a cake wrapped around it and deep fried in tempura batter. It’s then drizzled with chocolate, caramel and strawberry glaze.. one more time. .OMG! !!!

Came here on halloween during lunch time. I don’t eat sushi, but I ate the chicken tempura sushi! It was yummy and crunchy. We also had some warm sake, which was nice for fall weather. I ordered a salad with ginger dressing, and it was much larger than I expected! Prices are reasonable and they had a lot to choose from sushi wise, tempura and yakitora, non sushi and non seafood dishes, udon and the like noodles. They also had soups, not just hot n sour. Would come back! The staff handled the crowd very well and I got to watch a big 10 football game: D

Great sports bar type sushi place. They were really accommodating with our dog too. The sushi was really good and the beer was cold.

NICEPLACE!!! I didn’t have a dining experience at this place, so my review is solely about the food. I decided on sushi at the very last minute for lunch, and stumbled upon this place while driving up Barrett Parkway and Unilocaling SUSHI, the place was empty, not a soul in site with the exception of the sushi chefs and the greeter(weird, I don’t know if I missed something) I asked for my favorite roll, the dragon roll and they didn’t have it on the menu, buy somehow the greeter knew exactly what I was looking for and directed me to something almost like the roll I was seeking. It took the chef less then 5 minutes to prepare the most beautiful roll I have ever seen, but the roll was destroyed during my drive back to the office. The roll was delicious… For about 13 buck at lunch, it should have been. I already told a few friends about this place, and I will be dining soon. If you are not watching you just may pass this place, it tucked off in a shopping mall off Barrett Parkway.

This place has good sushi, the best one is hands down the drunken tiger roll. The service is not very good. servers are very slow, but the sushi is decent. Average price. Not very quite, not a go on a date type of restaurant. And if you ask for more eel sauce they charge $ 1 for it… That is crazy.

I love this place, I really do. I’ve tried Sushi everywhere but this place always calls me back. Their rolls range from $ 8 – 16. We kept it t the $ 12 and under rolls tonight and still got impressed. They change their rolls often so there is no point in naming my top favorites. I prefer rolls that are not fried and have cream cheese, my waiter named 3 off the top of his head and recommended great ones. I also got the Inago $ 1.5– baby octopus, they make it just right! They are also known for having the best fried rice around and their calamari is perfectly fried so that it’s still fluffy, buttery and seasoned well. Great beer section, great service(they do speak English and know the menu well), plenty of parking.
