Had my windows tinted on my 2015C300 and am very happy with it. Carlos did a GREAT job. Definitely recommend!

I am very pleased with the tint job they did for me. Brought them an Audi and had them install SunTek CXP35 film. With my previous car, I took it to a place in Portland, it was highly regarded on a tint shop industry forum. They still screwed it up, so I was a little leery about going to another shop and going through this process again. Its hard too because I recognize I am very detail oriented and picky. Autoshades met and even surpassed my expectations. They are a little more pricey than some other places I called but I have absolutely no regrets, you get what you pay for. The film goes right up to the top of the glass and was cut with nice smooth lines. I don’t see any lint or dust trapped under the film either(like my last experience elsewhere). They even cleaned up the interior of my car when they were done. Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. On a side note, on the tint industry forum I read, some folks are saying the SunTek CXP may cause an ugly green haze. I did not notice this at all, it really looks great. It even doesn’t cause that wonky rainbow effect when I wear polarized shades, so yay.

This should really be a two part review. I have had Autoshades apply both tint and paint protection film to my brand new(less than 200 miles on the odometer) car. They did a good job with the tint. However, they did a TERRIBLE job with the paint protection film. Here is a list of what’s wrong with their work: 1) Small traces of dirt left underneath the paint protection film all over the front of the car. I have had 4 cars with this film installed and NEVER had this happen to me. This basically indicates a lack of attention to detail and laziness on the part of the installer. 2) While applying the tint, they scratched up the black glossy trim pieces on the door panels of my car by using a dirty towel to dry the water off. Lucky for me, I was able to reduce the effect by applying plastic polish. 3) After applying the paint protection film, they did not dry up the hood of the car properly and parked it under the baking sun on a summer day. This has left permanent water spots on my car. I have tried to remove these but no luck so far. I am holding out to find a good polishing machine to give that a try. So, if you are looking for a decent tint job, this is a good place. If you are looking to get paint protection film applied, I would rather take some sandpaper and start working on the paint. They are THAT bad. Every time I wash the car, I see the water spots on the hood and I get upset. And they could have prevented that by properly drying the hood after applying the film or using a water filtration system. Drying the hood properly is something that takes only 30 seconds to do.
