Awesome food, fast drive through, love the pico and fresca salsas, arroz con pollo and quesadillas! Oh, and the fresh chips!

Love this place! Have been coming since they opened. Though we no longer live in the Tri– cities, my family and I stop by every time we are in town.

Thier California burrito isn’t SoCal style. They shouldn’t be allowed to call it a California burrito! Stay away from this place.

Very american style mexican tacos. Too much cheese and lettuce. There are far better options in the area !

Good: garlic salsa Ok: carne asada burrito with beans from a can. Pricier than authentic asada burritos. Smaller burrito at that as well and no sides. No rice or beans. Chips come as a free snack. Chips were stale. I don’t like restaurants that use canned foods or use foam plates. Good sign of pride in a restaurant.

From the outside, this looks like a fast food place. Well, it is and it isn’t. The food is very fresh but they do serve it quickly. Although you have to order your food at a counter and bus your own tables, you can have a great«sit down» experience at fast food prices and get really fresh food! ANDYOUDON’T HAVETOTIP! I loved the salsa bar. About eight(I think) different kinds of salsa. I tried four of them. In a prior life, I had Mexican co-workers set me straight about how the use of tomato sauce in a Mexican recipe is an absolute NONO! For the four salsas I tried, I can honestly say that I don’t think they used tomato sauce. And, although I love hot and spicy, their«hottest» salsa, OHMYGOD! BURNMYMOUTH! You got a small bag of chips to eat it with, but the amount of chips in the bag was generous for one person. I had the Aroz Con Polo. Although served on a disposable styrofoam plate, there was a generous amount of food for the $ 6.55 price. Chicken pieces on a bed of rice, with sour cream, generous amount of tomato chunks, shredded cheese, onions. You got three tortillas to put it on, and there was more food than the three tortillas could handle. I got full and could barely eat it all. This place is cumbersome to get into. If you are going east on Clearwater, and you miss the left turn, you have to turn left on Columbia Center BLVD and go down a couple blocks and make a U turn to come back for a right turn into the parking lot. The access point from Columbia Center BLVD will not accommodate an RV. The access from Clearwater has a big hump that will cause you to scrape bottom if you have a low clearance. There is a gravel parking area next to it that had a couple of 18 wheeler trucks but I don’t know how they got to it, as the only way is to go over that HUMP and then into the gravel. Otherwise, the paved area will not accommodate RV’s. I came here in a car. This restaurant is about 4 miles from a very nice RV Resort. UPDATE: Came here on a subsequent time just to try different salsas. Ordered chicken enchiladas, and again, tasted very fresh. Tried different salsas, and I can again say, definitely made without tomato sauce. So, this should meet the approval of my Mexican friends who told me, «Tomato sauce in a Mexican dish as a NONO!»

Great food. Served quicker then most fast food. Lots of food for the price. I had the Carne Asada plate. Only complaint is keep with 3 tortillas. I was making my own tacos so I had to buy another pack of 3 for 87 cents. Amazing salsa bar with cilantro and onion as well. Having a hard time finishing.

Not to bad as far as being a quick bite. I took a burrito to go and wasn’t disappointed. Didn’t take long to get and was plenty delicious. Their salsa bar was pretty good too. I’ll probably be back before too long…

I visited Chico’s for the first time tonight because I had a SpottedFox coupon. It was pretty hopping when we arrived and we had to wait in a short line before ordering. As I looked over the menu, I noticed some items had named that were not self-explanatory to me and they didn’t have descriptions. I saw something I thought I knew and got excited– the California burrito. Being from CA, this is a staple. After placing our order we received a tray with chips and happily made our way to the salsa bar. Excited to see so many options, I decided we would try all of them. I very much enjoyed tasting all the salsas(none too spicy coming from a weakling). When our food came out, I was astonished at the size of my burrito. It was almost 3 times the size of my boyfriend’s chicken burrito combo. When I bit into my burrito, I was really confused. When the girl gave me the burrito she said it was«the works» and I said«oh no I got a CA burrito.» She assured me it was correct, but I can tell you for a fact what I had was NOT a true CA burrito. A CA burrito comes with carne asada and French fries inside. My burrito looked like a beans, rice, sour cream, lettuce burrito. Very basic and no meat whatsoever. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed that my CA burrito did not live up to my expectations. I tried my boyfriend’s chicken burrito and it was alright– kind of salty and the chicken was a little on the drier side. It was okay Mexican food. The highlight was the music, décor, and SALSABAR!

Delicious burritos, tacos and fresh salsa bar. Usually pretty busy during lunch, but they are quick at getting your food out regardless. Prices are affordable, especially the lunch special. Also, the place is clean.

Best taco in town. Make sure and get some of the garlic salsa. The staff is great. Like they say it is not fast food but food comes out really quick.

In town for the weekend and wanted something fresh but semi-quick. The Burrito Especial was very good and the salsa bar was great, what a selection! Sadly, the Mahi Mahi fish tacos were… «fishy», as in not very fresh. The place was clean and well kept and the staff was friendly and courteous. Will give it a try again but I doubt we will try those fish tacos again.

Great salsa! The food is good too :) The prices are super reasonable(the burrito special is cheap and filling) and the servers are always friendly and quick.

This place is okay for lunch, the only thing I order is the bbq chicken burrito combo. It’s a lot of food for the price. I only eat here during work lunch if someone else is going. There is way to many better Mexican restaurants in town than this place. Also the inside could use some remodeling, it’s been the same since when it opened & could use some help.

The salsa bar is awesome. Always go for anything with charbroiled chicken. The chicken is tender and flavorful. For just of $ 5 you can get a huge burrito, chips, a great selection of salsas, and a drink. Don’t go for the Carne Asada burrito unless you love refried beans. The place is busy and can get a bit dirty. Otherwise It is one of my favorites. The people are generally very friendly. Good place to grab lunch or a low key dinner.
