Most consistent, fast, affordable, and delicious Chinese food in the tri-cities! I would recommend any one of the family meals that charge per person. If you order for 2 it will feed 4! This is the best deal in town. The servers are always friendly and efficient, most of them have worked there for years. Any day of the week Double Dragon is the place to eat!

Best Chinese food in town! Been coming here for many years. Kung Pao Chicken is great. The egg rolls are to die for. You must try this restaurant if you’ve never been here before.

I have been coming here for years. The food is delicious! The staff are courteous, friendly, and fun. The décor is okay. The atmosphere is nice, you can bring your family or a date. The cost is reasonable.

We had great hopes in trying the food here but alas the management had other plans. We were promptly sat down and give water, but that was the extent of the service. After 15 – 20 minutes of no waitress we left. We even asked the bus boy for our waitress and still nothing. On our way out management asked why we were leaving and we told them nobody served us. They looked shocked. Maybe they should take one of the two people behind the counter and help the 1 waitress trying to serve the whole dining area. Oh well. We walked next door and were promptly served. If you have tons of patience maybe you can try this place.

Get: Vegetable Fried Rice Crab Wontons A quart of «red sauce» Let’s not fool ourselves. This IS the Chinese-American restaurant that you thought you saw while reading the marquee. And you’re not going to find yourself magically whisked away into a fascinating Chinese countryside café wherein a frail but wise old lady prepares you some sweet bean bun that makes your toes curl. But as far as that sub-sub-sub genre of grub goes — you may find yourself in love(or in deep like) with a few particular menu items. Why 4 stars, then? Mostly because there’s that moment when you can barely make out that the building used to be a Pizza Hut decades ago, that the food is inexpensive and in gut-busting quantities, and the ever-available presence of the mysterious and wonderous«REDSAUCE». Who knows what goes into that large squeezable bottle of tantilizying mana from God, but the Red Sauce is the sweet addition that finds its way on most of my food from there. Two people happily split an order of vegetable fried rice and a half-order of crab ragoons(wontons) and will find some to take home if they play their cards right. We generally get sweet and sour chicken, too, but I’d be lying if I said that any of this would change your life in a significant way. Moreso, you would find that there’s simply a new #1 in that list of cheap comfort food. If you have little ones, the American side of the menu is quite cheap. No longer are you paying $ 7 for a grilled cheese on crusty bread when you’re trying to satisfy the immediate needs of a hangry 5 year old. Further, check out the great deals during lunch time. As a final thought, I generally get friendly, prompt service — especially from the owners. Positives: Inexpensive, large quantities, top-notch Chinese comfort food, lunch time specials Negatives: greasy at times, not life-changing, interior/exterior building could use some TLC

My husband and I went here on a whim and the service was great and attentive… We ordered the family meal and it was a lot of food for the price advertised as for serving 2 people. So much that we had to bring it back to the hotel the flavors were good but the food was just very dry and I killed the sweet and sour sauce it acted as a lubricant got it on the food so it could slide down my throat… Other than the dry food it’s a good bang for your buck…

Food wasn’t that terrific and server was lazy and blah. She didn’t ever remember to bring us our soup but was handing it out to everyone else. Even the fortunes in the cookies were boring. Almond chicken was chewy with lots of grisly pieces. Crap puffs were fresh but slapped on the dish to lie in a pool of frier grease. Won’t be back.

Very good value. Large portions. But it can be hit and miss on spicy. I mean sometimes you get a real 5 star spicy. Other times, it’s like you asked for no spice at all. My family likes Double Dragon also because of the fact you leave full and usually with leftovers for the next day. The lunch is really great. Lots of choices and again, plenty of it.

Did a side by side review of double dragon and shang hi of identical dishes. Double Dragon was more expensive and their food wasn’t as good. Wont be coming here as long as Shang hi is around.

If you’re in the mood for good old(new) take-out — Double Dragon can’t be beat. Great food, friendly staff, always a good experience either dining in or taking out. Prices are very reasonable for the price and I’ve never had any doubts or problems about the quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great American-Chinese.

Plenty of good tasting food for a great price! The specials are great! The downer is the atmosphere — out of date and worn… I usually have Sweet and Sour Pork — always done right! My wife varies her orders, and loves the chicken and broccoli. All in all a good place to eat in the tri-cities.

Been going here for 15 years! Our favorite Chinese place! Lisa, the owner, is amazing! The schezwan is wonderful! They did recently change their potstickers which are inferior as compared to before. But the food is really good!

I came here twice so far. I love their shrimp with lobster sauce and their«fire sampler» appetizer. It actually comes with a small little fire! I don’t really care for fired rice so I didn’t mind theirs. But on one of the pictures, you’ll see the triple chicken. The general’s chicken(brown) could be spicier. It tasted like it had no spices but it wasn’t too bad. I liked the chicken stir fry(can’t remember what it was.) I also liked the lemon chicken… minus the lemon glaze. It gave it a weird sweet taste. I never seen it before on a lemon chicken but I didn’t like the glaze. at all. So next time without the sauce would be perfect. I love that it gives you huge portions too at a fairly cheap price.

The food was great today. The sweet and sour pork was not too salty or greasy. The sauce was perfect. The fried rice was ok, but what do you expect when it sits for longer than a hour. The chow Mein was great too. Not salty and the noodles were cooked perfect. But the service was why it gets 5 stars. Called in the order at 12:00, said it would be ready at 12:30 I walked out at 12:25. Couldn’t believe it with the entire restaurant packed full. The manager running the front counter was sweet and called me by name when she brought my order. It was also nice to listen to the customers pay their bill and tell her how great the food was.

Ok, it is not authentic Chinese! It is Americanized Chinese, so what? Now that you are past your elitist Nazi like definitions; the Kung pao has fresh zucchini among other fresh vegetables, the rice is actually real rice, not rice substitute as some other reviews may imply, wtf? Americanized Chinese was popularized in the 1950’s and is part of this melting pot called Americana. I thought we were all supposed to embrace diversity, instead of embracing only the diversity certain individuals deem necessary. It is not health food, but it is cheap, tasty, and apparently enough to feed half of Botswana!

This place is awesome. Lots of food for the money. Good quality. Vegetables are fresh, not frozen. There is a line outside the door before opening. I have eaten here many times, have never had any problems, beyond finishing the massive amount of leftovers. There is a reason this place was voted as the Tricities people’s choice for Chinese food.

I used to like this place, but I really can’t eat here anymore without leaving ill so I haven’t ate there in months. The food isn’t the greatest quality, but people seem to overlook the fact since they give you a $hit ton. The lady that owns it is super nice and friendly, the service is always quick etc.
