Tacos de chicharrón are my favorite here. They’re menudo and pozole is fresh and delicious. Carne. Asada and platos de pollo are bomb!

If you’re anywhere around this area, this is the place you need to go. You just have to try it to really justify the experience. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve tried so far. In Oregon you won’t even find a place like this.

During a weekend stay in the Tri-Cities, I wanted Mexican breakfast, you know, chorizo, menudo, nopales, etc. Thank goodness we found this place. We walked in on a Sunday, and the place was hopping. You order at the counter, grab salsa, and then look around to find a table. People come in and out, so we had no problems finding a table for 4. I ordered chorizo con huevos with beans and rice. But being from Idaho, I HAD to have hash browns, too. Everything was delicious. The beans were fresh(I can tell), and they did not skimp on the chorizo. The tortillas are also made by hand. I wish I lived down the street from this place.

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch at Kennewick’s Taqueria El Sazon. There are four flat screen TV’s listing the menu options with entrée photos located near the front counter of the restaurant. Ordering and payment is done at the counter. Self-serve soda’s and salsa station also located near the front counter. Delicious entrees are delivered from the kitchen served on porcelain plates with stainless steel utensils. Servings are very large compared to Chipotle, Qdoba & Costa Vida. The entrée prices are comparable which makes Taqueria El Sazon a better value. The eating area is open, fairly spacious and clean with large tile floors, perimeter table-booths and free-standing tables & chairs in the central dining location. We witnessed a large customer base of seasoned happy customers. We will be back.

I still eat here but have since found out that why makes us sick there is the beans. If we don’t way the beans we are fine! My favorite is flauta plate for lunch. Has no rice and beans. So good!

When the Kennewick location I thought it was amazing. Seems some of the items have changed how they are prepared a little. The tacos are pretty dang good but I have stopped getting the burritos and stick to La Posada for that. They have a little chip and salsa bar that is nice. Overall just ok.

Consistent quality of food as well as service ! Posole is yum as well as the tacos. It’s a great goto place for when you can’t decide. Restroom is outside along the building which is meh but always clean. OPEN late and has drive thru

I’ve been here a handful of times and to date most visits have been good. The breakfast burritos are the best I’ve had in Tri Cities and are reminiscent of the ones I grew up on in California, albeit not quite as huge. The sauce bar is pretty good too. However be aware that you might not get what you order, it will be close, but no cigar. I ordered a taco salad, as shown on the menu in a fried shell, to go. Others got their food and came and went but still I waited, 20 minutes(or more later) my Togo order finally came up. We grabbed our food and headed back to work to have lunch. I sit down and open my to go box and find a green salad topped with chicken, pineapple, tomato slices and a slice of white bread. So in short, always check your to go box and be very clear of what you are ordering. I will stick to the breakfast burritos.

One of our all time favs! My wife and I have made several trips to grab a bite while traveling from Seattle to visit family. The tacos are on point. The agua frescas were amazing. The taquitos were tasty. We’ll definitely be stopping by again!

Salsa bar and .79 cent taco happy hour. Tacos are decent. That’s all I have to say about that.

I love coming here. The food is always very good and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I find myself in the drive through quite a bit, and 99% of the time it moves very quickly. It doesn’t matter what I order from here, it always tastes good. If you go indoors it tends to be very loud but that’s just the type of restaurant. The service is very friendly and the servings are large. I started going to the Pasco location before this one opened, and they do it just as good here. It seems like I found myself here at least once a week.

Excellent food-the breakfast burritos are killer and I can’t get enough of their salsas. They usually only give you 2 very small containers of salsa I the drive-thru so I always have to ask for more. Haven’t had anything bad at all. Love the taquitos, tacos, enchiladas…

Can I give this place more than five stars?! Please? My only regret about this restaurant is getting hooked and being that it is so far away from where I live… It saddens me. We were in Kennewick for a tournament and a local resident recommended this restaurant to us. It was so close to our hotel and we heard the area had delicious Mexican food. If there is one thing about me that everyone knows, it’s that I LOVE Mexican food. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. The first thing you notice is the electronic menu board. Okay, they have everything. My bf got the carne asada which was like… $ 10? You don’t ever find carne asada for that cheap. I ordered their pork dish with beans and rice… And as my bf tells me, in order to really get a true telling about a Mexican restaurant, you have to try their tacos. We ordered 3 carne asada tacos, and 3 chichiron tacos. They have a salsa bar with chips and all sorts of goodness. The food was aaaammmaaaazzziiinnnggg. The best, most authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten, and trust me… I’ve had a lot in my days. The staff is SO friendly and the place is very clean. I used their bathroom(which you have to exit the restaurant and walk a few feet away to) and it was one of the cleanest restaurant’s bathrooms I have ever used. My bf and I ate enough to not eat the rest of the day for $ 30ish including tip! So cheap for such quality, satisfying food. I’m trying to find a reason to go out there again just so we can eat here! If you live in the area, or are visiting. This is a must try!

This has become my go-to place for quick Mexican food. The tacos are really good and the pozole works great with my fitness related meal plan. The assortment of drinks are nice, I tend to stick with the horchata and hugo de melon. The only real drag with the place is going outside for the bathroom. Staff is great, will return.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Since moving here from the LA area one of the things I missed the most was carne asada wet burrito in salsa verde. Now this is something they don’t have in the menu but they do have wet burritos in salsa roja(red) but if you ask them if it can be in salsa verde they will do it at no extra charge :) the prices they have are excellent I’ve notice a lot of Mexican restaurants are way to over price here in the tri cities. Love their salsa and chip bar too

I’ve only been once(so far) but I had to write a review. The atmosphere is. well, grey-hound bus station-ish(cleaner though) . But the food makes up for that. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food is way off the chart for«fast» Mexican food. They have«All you can eat Menudo» for 6.99. SHUT up! They have a ton of choices in meats *Asada(Steak) *Adobada(Spicy Pork) *Carnitas(Marinated Pork) *Birria(Shredded Beef) *Pollo(Chicken) *Cabeza *Lengua *Buche *Tripa *Campechano(tripa, buche, carnitas) They also have«happy hour«tacos from 2−5PM59 cents each. I had a couple of mulita and some rice and beans. I tried the marinated pork and the asada. Great flavors, nothing was buried in cheese. I will definitely go back and try other things.

This establishment is located in a former burger joint. To date, a GIANT hamburger is part of the street-side décor. I wonder if they will replace it with a giant taco. The menu is in constant motion on an electronic reader board. One does not need to be literate in American English to order. Meals are served to your table, where you proudly display your plastic order number. This is convenient. The chips and salsas are complimentary. The small condiments bar offers a nice selection of condiments, including whole jalapenos(yay!). Very friendly but LOUD, with the obligatory, Mexican accordion cha-cha music blaring throughout. No escaping it. Pobre Mexican BORDERFOOD only.
