Eaten here a few times and haven’t been disappointed. Plus they have sushi, so that’s a huge bonus for me!
I’ve ordered quite a few different things and they’ve all tasted pretty good. Typical Americanized Chinese. Nothing out of the norm. (I still like Chens Bistro better)
The sushi has been decent. Smaller portions of fish compared to other sushi places in town. As far as the quality it’s better than the grocery store stuff, but I’ll stick with an actual sushi restaurant if I really need my fix.

I’m so happy to have found this place! There hasn’t been one restaurant that I like everything I usually order. Crab rangoon, egg rolls, fried rice (veggie & pork) & bbq pork… They are all delicious here! I also love that I can place my order online.

Hot & sour soup is quiet good as is the Mongolian beef, thd best I’ve had of any Chinese restaurant in the area. Very happy that China Star is close to my home as I’ll be stopping by frequently.

You don’t expect great Chinese food in South East Wisconsin but it’s here! Very friendly staff. Clean restaurant. I had the szechuan shrimp. It was fantastic. Skip Panda Express please and have real Chinese food.

Great Chinese place. So I have been here 6 times now and no bad days.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Ordered so far: shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg foo young, crab ragoon, shrimp lo mein, & yang chow fried rice. All seafood until our fast is over then I will be able to order the meats and update you all.
Crab ragoon is sweet and awesome, you don’t even need the sweet and sour sauce.
Shrimp fried rice is not greasy like some places and containers filled to the top. Full of shrimp and goodness.
Shrimp egg foo young — patties are on the thin side would like more egg or to be thicker but does the trick.
Shrimp lo mein — would like more shrimp but very flavorful.
Yang chow fried rice — great it has pork in it I think we pulled them out (due to the fast we are on) but OMG so will order this when I can eat meat again. So good.
Haven’t tried the sushi yet but plan on it real soon. Will update once we try it.

I got general tso and the wife got hibachi chicken. Mine was good, not goopy like most, and the hibachi chicken was slightly overcooked but the flavor was good.

Excellent food and amazing service. Customer service goes above and beyond. They remember us when we come in and are always friendly. The food is hot and very tasty and never breaks the bank. This my favorite chinese restaurant in kenosha.

We ordered some vegetarian rolls — including the most excellent «Golden Eye» and «Eggplant». Atmosphere was rather spartan, but the service was fabulous. Will definitely return.

Great friendly service. Good Asian food for Kenosha, but not world class by any means. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Skip the hibachi– over cooked and dry meat. Crab Rangoon crispy and sweet. Cashew chicken used white meat and had mild sauce. We will be making this one of our frequent dinners out.

Started with a very tasty Hot & Sour soup. Lots of big crunchy vegetables, not one of those weak broth ones.

Me and my wife love a wide variety of Asian cuisine and this little restaurant was quite impressive. I had the curry beef the meat was tender and the vegetables where fresh and cut just right. The price was fare and the waitress was very nice and took time to make sure my kids where having a good time. This will be are new regular stop for Asian cuisine.

Just saw this place pop up while getting a haircut at great clips next door this Sunday. So, I’d figure I’d give it a try.
I ordered the curry chicken with pork fried rice for take out. Order took about 5 – 10 minutes to prepare. The staff was very friendly.
Now to the food. The rice was very good. It wasn’t too greasy or bland. It was just right. Very favorable with the right amount of veggies (I like veggies). The curry chicken was lightly glazed and was perfect. The meal itself was slightly spicy but I like spicy so it was great. Overall great first time meal here. My stomach didn’t feel like crap like some other Chinese joints out there and it filled me up.
Going to bring my wife over here for lunch sometime in the near future. Give it a try.
ps they also server sushi but not until next week. No biggie as they literally just opened recently.
