Food taste was lacking. I was very concerned with the sanitation of the restaurant. I was concerned that the barbecue sauce was open to where if you sneezed or coughed it would become contaminated. Similar concern to the prep area where they prepare the pork for the sandwich. However, People were nice.

I just tried Dickey’s Barbecue Pit for the first time, and the food was excellent and the service was equally as good. I ordered The Westerner, which included beef brisket and pulled pork and their signature barbecue sauce, pickles and onions. I ordered the baked potato casserole as a side and it was very good.

Best BBQ in town! I go every other week. This past visit I came home to find my order was wrong. Not sure if it was my fault or theirs but I called them to explain and they fixed it without question. Came back and they corrected my order. Amazing food and the staff working is the best in town, great service.

Pricey, pricey, pricey. Had mac n cheese side, tasted like mush. They really don’t know bbq that well either. Twenty bucks or two tiny sandwiches and small sides. Texas Roadhouse is better.

Good BBQ at an affordable price. They have a nice selection of sides and those I’ve tried have been great. The sauce comes with three choices from sweet to spicy and they are pleasant. Top it off with free ice cream and it’s a nice meal out with the family.

I will not go here again. My husband stopped to get me a Giant baker with meat minus the sour cream. What I got was an undone potato with less than a quarter cup of pulled pork on it. There was more meat on my sons kids sandwich than on my potato. When I spoke to the manager he informed that’s the way they have always done it and he is sorry I felt that way. This potato is $ 9 certainly not the worth the price for I received today. I have ordered this before and it has never come this way. I am greatly disappointed and won’t be returning.

This place was a great surprise. We were looking for something different and saw the place near Woodmans. We took a chance and enjoyed the food! My only complaints are that the menu is hard to decipher. It would be nice if a couple different sandwiches were listed on the menu(they had a daily specials menu that had some interesting sandwiches listed that were not on the main menu). Also, I found it a little pricey for fancy fast food. All in all I would go back but try to economize on my choices.

Dickies is a chain, so either you like it, or you don’t. This is a review of this location/franchise. Great staff, great service. Met the owner a time or two and he opened up the smoker and showed me how the cook the pork. Highly recommended.

If your looking to get a quick bbq fix, this will hit the spot. Good meats and sides and plenty of sauce to go around.

I think the prices are a bit high for what you get. I had ribs and my wife had spicy sausage and brisket. Ribs were dry and didn’t have the slow smoked qualities I expected. No smoke ring and not tender. The baked potato casserole sounded good. Too bad it was mashed potatoes scooped into a dish. Mashed is fine… just call it what it is. Brisket was also dry and lacked smokiness. Sausage was definitely not smoked. They must be using a gas or electric smoker. Sauces were too thin and the flavor of them was not to my liking. There’s potential here but there is work to be done to get it there. Spend less on trailer park cutlery and souvenir cups and fix a few things. Probably not going back. Too bad, I am dying for some top notch BBQ around here.

I just used Dickeys to cater my holiday luncheon for 170 people changing it up from the Italian we’ve used over the past 6 years. This was the most compliments I’ve received to date on the food. We ordered the Caesar salad, dill potato salad, mac & cheese, brisket, chicken, and ribs. Everything was an absolute hit with the employees. Bill made sure that we were completely taken care of on all aspects which made maintaining the party very easy. We will absolutely use a Dickeys BBQ again.

Mmmmm. Slow-cooked, smokey meats and spicy sweet sauce. BBQ beans, mc n cheese, waffle fries… BEER!!! This place has e’rythin! The meat is succulent and freshly q’d. The sandwiches are hefty and the sides are satisfying. My wife and I split a sandwich and two sides and we are food-coma stuffed! The IPA hit the spot cuz I hate Coke products. Free soft serve to kill that total dairy farm craving in one sweet spot. Definitely better than SBRORFD and faster. Kids eat free on Sunday so you know we are coming back with the whole clan! Now… Let’s get some fireworks and cheese. Discount double check!

5 Stars for Kenosha BBQ. It was super good and pretty cheap! Worth every penny, it was delicious! Got fall-off-the-bone ribs and both briskets. My favorite ended up being the regular brisket(not texas style). I got mac n cheese and okra as sides, okra for curiosity’s sake. It was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Definitely eating here again, 5⁄5!

Went for lunch today. Had the 2 meat plate with brisket and pulled pork. Hubby had ribs. My sides were mac and cheese and green beans with bacon and his were jalapeño beans and fries. Everything was good. As others have mentioned, there are three different sauces and you can get as much or little as you want. The thing I didn’t like was that my brisket was chopped into little pieces about the same size as the pulled pork. Don’t know why, but I didn’t care for it. Service was quick even though there was a line. Staff was friendly. Would go back again if in the area.

Really good BBQ for the price. The three meat plate is pretty much a bargain for what you get. Good sauces round out the meats. I have to appreciate a joint that lets it meat speak for itself and doesn’t drown everything in sauce. Top it off with your free ice cream and you’ve got a great little meal. Eager to come back and try the ribs! Hats off to the staff as well. Friendly and polite. Nice to see that. Can really make or break an experience and these guys were really great.

I’ve only picked up to go from here once, but we liked it. Polish sausage and ribs were tastiest in our opinion. The meat had a thin outer crust, just fell off the rib bones, and was moist with good flavor, a nice hint of smoke, just enough, and not too salty. Probably some of the better ribs I’ve had. All the meats were good. The skinless chicken breast(which is the only chicken they do) was succulent, juicy and flavourful, really tasted good– but would not hit a BBQ mark for me if that was my craving. Brisket was also good, at least tonight. By comparison, we like RUB’s brisket too, but sometimes RUB’s can be inconsistent. So we try to remember that at BBQ places. Potato salad was excellent! Creamy, ever-so-slight dill, delicious. Good beans too, preferred the jalapeño beans(barely there heat) over BBQ but both were good. Oh, good waffle fries, nice crisp and soft on inside. The guys working there were super friendly and helpful in guiding my choices, and even threw in some free fried okra, which was good, assuming you like okra– which can be a hard sell. I’d call the interior, «picnic casual». :) We spent about $ 30 for two«2-meat» combo meals(including 2 sides of our choice), and a roll(which was only ok), an extra half pound of ribs($ 6), and a large drink. A tad pricey? Perhaps, but they didn’t skimp on our meals and it really hit the spot! They have 3 sauces(original, sweet, and spicy) and you can serve yourself those and load up! Our fave was the spicy, although the guy behind the counter likes his half sweet and half spicy. Sounds like a good call to me! I did not know about the free soft serve custard or ice cream though– probably a good thing! But I thought you should know for when you go. :)

My first try here and for a fast food BBQ, they’re pretty good! I would say I prefer this over Famous Dave’s except that Famous Dave’s has better bread. I tried their St Louis styled BBQ ribs are they were tasty but just a little too salty. My husband had the brisket which was really good. He likes their coleslaw and we both enjoyed the baked potato casserole, but I did like the tangy BBQ beans. Not really sure why they served the entrees with a slice of raw onion and pickles(didn’t eat those) but their bread was too dry. They offer refillable soft drinks in a nice big cup which I like and soft serve vanilla custard is free as a dessert. I think they are priced fairly for fast food and but I’m from Chicago and I may be comparing apples to oranges here, but you don’t have to leave a tip here, so not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about?
