Texas Roadhouse

Favorite place to eat. Being from Canada, Every time I travel to the states I have to make an effort to stop here ! They have the best prime rib ever ! My girlfriend who doesn’t like meat loves there prime rib medium rare.

What a great Steak House. The food is excellent and the prices and service are great. Gets crowded and loud, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Awful stomach cramps!!! I had the roadkill. The meat was dry and the onions were greasy. The cheese was just thrown over the icky mushrooms. The corn side was lukewarm and the mashed potatoes okay. Luckily, I wasn’t the one paying for dinner. But missed the following day at work, made me mad!!! I wouldn’t eat those peanuts either, got a rotting one!

Used to love this place. The last couple of times we had terrible experiences. The waitress was rude and inattentive; when we asked for bread, she told us to look on the counter to see if there is any. The meat quality had been deteriorating. The meats have no marble which means they are buying the lowest quality available.
We are very disappointed as we won’t be going there again after being regular customers for the last few years!

Went last night on a Monday and they were «out of prime rib». The waitress was a little slow with the refills as well. Probably won’t be going back to that location.

Came in on a Sunday evening.
Was told the wait would be 45 – 50 min. We got sat within 5 minutes (WINNING!)
I don’t remember my Servers name though I wish I did. I’d love to give him a shout out for great service. He dealt with all of my requests very well. And was prompt with drink refills.
The food was great. I had a filet cooked medium. It was perfectly cooked. Hot pink center. Flavorful. Just absolutely delicious and what I expect of a great steak.

It’s the place to be when in Kenosha. I used to come here back in the day with friends for dinner before we hit up Kenosha Bars. I went on a date here few months ago and my date lives in Wisconsin and me living in Illinois Texas Roadhouse was half way for both of us to meet at. It was a long time since I have been here. I was not disappointed by all means. My steak was great beer was good. Plus most of the female servers that Friday Night were very attractive. I will be back again very soon!!!

I’ve been here twice and both times I had Amanda as my waitress. I literally drove from Chicago to Kenosha because she’s that good.
Everyone comes for the fresh rolls. That’s a no-​brainer. Do yourself a favor and sit in Amanda’s section… she’ll take care of you.

First of all, why is it jam packed at 4:00pm on a Saturday?! 4:00pm is in between lunch and dinner. So totally thought the family was safe in requesting a booth/​table for 12 expecting to be seated right away… Nope! We waited an hour but not unhappy about it since there was alit of catching up to do with the family and we were sitting at the bar… I’ve never thought about actually eating at Texas Road House. just sounds silly and all that comes to mind is Patrick Swayze dressed in denim head to toe and glistening in sweat under neath a neon light sign that says ‘Road House’. WHY HADN’T I COME HERE SOONER?! Well, anyway, it was grandpa Genes birthday and he chose the place.
Bar had a decent selection of beer — IPA, porter, lager, cider. Prompt and younger bar service ready to take your order and to pass you a bucket of peanuts (peanut shells can be kicked to the ground). The decoration was awesome, huge stuffed buffalo head and armadillos. If it wasn’t so crowded I would have taken pictures …
The COMPLIMENTARY hot, fresh bread and sugar cinnamon butter is to die for. I’m a huge fan of onion so of course we had to order the bloomin onion– delicious! And the fried pickles-​delicious! Especially with ranch dressing… More so than the Cajun sauce they serve with it. The ribs were so so so so good! I don’t order ribs usually but I’ve always heard good things about them. So skip the mediocre chicken sandwich or burger and order the ribs!
Oh, and when it’s your birthday they bring over a saddle, make you hop on and yell «yee haw!»
I would be embarrassed but grandpa enjoyed every minute of it!
The service was unbelievably awesome. For such a large party the guys were able to keep it cool and real and were ready to take our order and clear the table at just the right times. The one waiter said it was his first day and his first table, Major kudos to him! I Forget his name but he’s a very sharp looking fellow with dark hair and a kind personality.
Over all, good experience and I want to go back tomorrow for breakfast. If they served breakfast. Sigh.

Not as good as we’ve had at other locations. BBQ ribs were a little dry. It was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday if that had anything to do with it.

For my visit today, their staff specially Josh is amazing. I did not have any problem with my steak from my last visit before but today my steak was over cooked. They gladly took it back and gave me a new one but it’s still over cooked. They’re nice to wait for me to check on it. I just felt bad returning it coz it’s still not «warm red center» as described for their medium rare but still «hot pink center» — so just said that my steak is ok…

We’ve been here so many times. It’s always a great choice! You could fill up on just the rolls and peanuts if you tried. The cinnamon butter and rolls are to die for!
They give away lots of free appetizer coupons. I get mine through email and Unilocal when I check in. The Rattlesnake bites are my favorite appetizer.

Not a bad place to grab drinks. The Classic Margarita froze and sangria Margarita Frozen were really really good! Easily would come back to this place for these. The food was good but nothing spectacular. You certainly get enough to eat so if you’re bringing a big appetite your vacant belly will be filled with a smile. Starters are peanuts are the tables plus warm bread w/​butter (tasty to keep your taste buds appeased before your main dishes arrive). For Appetizer had the Onion Blossom dish (tasted ok, greasy, onions. the usual). My main dish was the 11oz medium well with sweet potatoes and fries. Again tasted alright nothing special but I mean for ~20 bucks cant expect too much.
All in all, if you want a casual meal and growling belly this spot w/​large portions will do the trick just don’t go setting the bar high. The drinks are amazing though!

The waitress Alexandria was awesome. My husband chili came out hot not like at another texas roadhouse, my salad was dressed well and no wilted lettuce. The prime rib was cooked perfect and the potatoes did not have black spots.
The food was just as ordered and very good.
I would recommend this location to everyone.

I like Texas Roadhouse in general, so there isn’t too much more I can say about it. I will say that I had the best steak I’ve had at any Texas Roadhouse here. The service was good and seating was prompt. I did have to sit next to a stuffed armadillo which was a little creepy, but it didn’t detract from the experience.

Wow what else can I say. This is the place for bbq. Whether it’s ribs chicken shrimp or steaks. This place is the bomb.
No more cheddars, chilis, applebees, portillos. If you want good bbq this is the place to go.
Ribs are fall off the bone and very tender, juicy mmm so good. The chicken is very good and tender. Oh and they have spotted cow too bonus stars for that.
Bottom line we wish we knew about this place sooner.
We will be back over and over.

We came in to enjoy a family dinner of 3.
I ordered the 10 oz ribeye-​medium rare and my son 12 oz ribeye-​medium.
When our order came out. They forgot my sweet potato and switched our steaks around. Then the steak that was supposed to be medium was rare. So not only did my son get the smaller steak but I returned mine because it was too rare. Simple order really. We left hungry and disappointed. Our server was good but would have been great had she not messed up so much. Thanks for a great family dinner-​ruined! They removed our 2 entrees but left the 3^rd entrée. Simply put they should have comped the entire meal for ruin it. Or given us a gift certificate to come back and give them another chance.

We stopped here for lunch while out on a road trip last month. We had never been to a Texas Road House before. I rather enjoyed the experience.
I had a combo of steak and ribs. I don’t recall what Christopher had, but he loves the free peanuts, so he was happy. My food was quite good and when we left, they sent us home with some more peanuts. The bad entitled us to a comp appetizer on our next visit, so we used it at another Texas Road House in Illinois a few weeks later.
The service was spectacular, the place is very clean. My only complaint is that it is a bit loud, but then again, I’m an old fogey! It is a nice lunch stop right off the highway. We shall return!

It’s not my style, necessarily. It’s loud, the floor is covered in peanut shells and you probably can’t find a seat where a television isn’t viewable.
That being said, the food was well prepared, huge portions for the money and flavorful.
The honey cinnamon butter is terrifyingly good. Like, «screw you diet» good.
I give it a thumbs up overall– but it’s definitely not a «date worthy» dinner experience.
