We have been tenants for 3 years and they have been steadily increasing the rent. I have been checking online I notced our same unit for $ 50 less. I asked my husband to talk with them and they said its «supply and demand» which made no sense. Then I called again today and they are offering the same unit still $ 50 less on our same row a few units down. At first when I asked why are we paying more Kevin said that some units have a better location and a boat can go in but then when I found out where the less expensive unit was I realized its just a few units down no difference. I again asked why would he charge us so much more for the same thing and he had no answer. Also, like the other review we had rodent problems as well and spent a lot of money to re-​package our things with no offer to fix the situation. Kevin and this facility discriminate against whoever they think will pay excessive rates.

I do not recommend this storage facility. There is definitely better options out there. I have found and I can smell rat droppings and piss in my unit. I have complained about it. However no recourse to make it better was ever offered. I have re-​read the contract and it states that the the buyer beware. EVS isn’t responsible for any damages caused by rodents.
Which is fine, I get it. However it doesn’t mean that I can’t put out a review to let others know. The staff reassured me they have placed traps and caught a rodent or two. Seriously, like that should make up for the damage to my stuff. That is suppose to make me feel warm and fuzzy. Plus what about the babies that the rodents may have had.
I will be moving my stuff out of EVS.
