Love this place. Not many people there are very friendly but the food is good enough that it doesn’t bother me much. They were closed for a week last week. Not sure if that happens often but seems weird and inconvenient for people who need items for events or special occasions.

The girls were great there and I would give them 5 stars for that and being helpful. But I will say for someone who cant have cow milk and HAS to be GF(yes I don’t choose to do this) I was bummed that majority of their vegan/GF stuff was made with soy milk. Many people cannot digest soy or have reactions to it(like me) so its one of the milks that isn’t the best to use. I was able to try their macaroon which was good, my husband got some goodies(he can have cow milk) and said they were great. I wish they would switch to flax(for health benefit) or even rice milk because I’m sure the don’t do nut milks due to allergies. To me, if you are going to have an allergen friendly bakery then look up the top 10 allergens, and its not hard to avoid them really. But on a brighter note they do do special orders where the can switch out stuff so if you plan ahead they will work with you! Which is what I will do!

I really enjoy the gluten free treats here. Most gluten free desserts are very dense or have a strange flavor. I love the double chocolate cookie but there is slight graininess to it but I still buy it because the chocolate flavor is so good. I tried the raspberry bar and the german chocolate bar and absolutely LOVED them. They are sweet though so I would stick to eating one at a time.

Awesome gluten free bakery… I am not effected by gluten but my wife and many many friends can not eat gluten… but I don’t even notice… everything I have had there over the last few years is to die for

Ordered a half sheet chocolate with filling birthday cake… OMG, AWESOME! Guests at the party couldn’t tell it was gluten free and we couldn’t stop snacking on it! Love, love, love… And you’ll love it too! Way to bake Haley and staff!

Very very good, just wish they had vegetarian quiche. All they had was meat options. The muffins are amazing!

ok so I flollow a gluten free diet– not for some diet fad but because I’m celiac. 1 bite of gluten can make me sick for days. That being said I hope this place stays open– food is good for the most part, characteristically bland or just disgusting in a few, prices are good but I tell you I will never come back here because I find the business model of customers needing to call the day of to know what the bakers did or didn’t feel like making I guess but most of all these people are just plain rude! I haven’t had a good pastry in 20 years– excuse me if I’m told they are baked on weekends– stop in three weekends in a row only to be yelled and sneered at that they weren’t made and maybe I should call next time. Try to smile once in a while and maybe listen to your customers. I think it’s bad enough to get that treatment from food places who don’t understand that a gluten allergy is very real– at least for about 1% of the U.S. Population? Im not ok with being treated that way in non celiac locations and I’m most certainly not ok with hostility and rudeness somewhere that I should be welcomed but is also for people with my allergy at least according to their about the business. Only reason I’m giving it two stars is I can actually eat there if I ever got desperate for rude service.

I stopped by here to pick up pastries for someone as a «thank you» and of course picked up something for myself as well. They are so so good!

Yummy gluten-free and vegan options(for those of us with the double suck of Celiac and food allergies) are so hard to find when they don’t come out of my kitchen. This morning, I’m thrilled to have had an Amber-safe muffin with my coffee and am taking home chocolate lava cake, a lemon coconut muffin, and a loaf of bread.

This is by far the best gluten free bakery in the Seattle metro! The desserts are so delicious. I definitely recommend the Rocky road bar or any one of their cookies! Their pizza is really good too and not the usual thin crust that most gluten free pizzas have.

I haven’t tried many things, but what I have tried is pretty great! The only thing I don’t like is that they’re in Kent and I’m in Seattle. Worth the drive every once in a while!

I love this bakery, I have Celiac disease and I highly recommend coming here. I haven’t had a cinnamon roll in years until now, very filling and delicious. Don’t get me started on the deep dish pizza, yum. Also, the negative comments totally unfounded. Glutinous foods versus gluten free foods will have a different texture no matter who makes them the chemistry of the food is different, Udi’s bread is dry and rubbery but at least it’s available. I never thought anything had a lack of taste or happened to be too sweet.

I came to Haley’s in October for pretzels. They had soft pretzels and I have missed them dearly. The texture left a bit to be desired(none of the satisfyingly chewy, brown exterior), but it was a valiant attempt. I also escaped with a slice of their(thick) cheese pizza and a slice of apple pie. Their pie was my favorite of all four. Haley’s is in the lower price range for GF(ended up being around $ 14 for all 4 items), and terrifically delicious.

I am not a gluten-free food goer. However, the rest of my family is. So I come here with my mom and sister when they’re in town and peruse the wonderful selection they have. There are sweet treats and savory snacks.(I like the breakfast muffin things… so filling!) I love that everything is baked in the back and they can speak to their products. Not super cheap, but it’s made by hand and fresh, so it really shouldn’t be cheap. =)

Small bakery. The environment was very casual and«homestyle». The cashier was very polite. I asked him for advice and he really helped me picked out a selection. I decided to get a volcano lava cake and a chocolate amaretto bar. Since the bakery is gluten free, I thought the texture and taste of the desserts interesting… I wouldn’t say it’s bad but it’s different than what I am used to. The chocolate amaretto bar was a bit sugary and too sweet for my taste buds. The lava cake was good. But there was no lava :-(or maybe it wasn’t a lava cake and I’m hallucinating? Overall, customer service is great. The food is good. I think if you’ve been exposed to gluten free pastries before then it would taste fine.

Best bakery around!!! Even BETTER than some of the well known bakerys in Seattle/West Seattle that have been featured in local magazines. Not to mention ALL gluten free & some even dairy free! GREAT selection of baked good & delicious treats! I definitely will be back and would highly recommend this bakery!

One of the best gluten free bakeries in the area! All gluten free products so no cross contamination. Great taste and texture, value for the money, consistent friendly service, easy parking in East Hill Village strip mall, behind(north) of the Key Bank. I love the proximity to Himitsu Teriyaki(yummy gluten free offerings) where I have a meal and then pick up a dessert here! Or pick up my dessert beforehand in case it’s close to the bakery’s closing time…

As somebody that has to be ENTIRELY gluten free, even to the tiniest levels, or I get very sick, Haley’s Corner is a god send! When I serve their items, people don’t know that they are gluten free! Their carrot cake is so delicious and moist, and the frosting I could eat with a spoon. They did the sheet cake for my wedding, and did a great job. Their bread is also very tasty. I was very disappointed that when I tried to come here(it is a long drive from Oly) they were closed, and there had been nothing on their website about it and nobody mentioned it when I called earlier in the week.

I was excited to try this place and went in today. Everything looks totally amazing! They have some day-old items, a huge selection of breads, and very tasty looking cakes, cookies, bars, etc. Unfortunately, because I am allergic and/or sensitive to both dairy and soy I couldn’t eat most of the items in the bakery. There were two items I was told were both dairy and soy free, and I bought one of the ginger cookies. It was kind of a disappointment since I am used to the Flying Apron Bakery(Seattle/Redmond) or Back to Eden(Portland) where everything is gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free. It was hard looking at all the beautifully decorated items and not being able to try any of them. I was kind of surprised they used so much dairy and soy considering that a lot of folks with Celiac generally have other allergies/sensitivities…and both dairy and soy are at the top of the list for most highly allergic reactions. The man who helped me made sure the cookie I bought was safe for me, and even went back to get a book to double check. The ginger cookie I had was good and priced right(lower than normal for GF treats). The ginger cookie at Flying Apron rocks my world every single time and I didn’t get that experience with Haley’s Corner Bakery. It would be nice if there were more options for those of us with multiple food allergies since this would be the most appropriate place for us to go! Thank you at least for having a couple items I could eat today! It was appreciated.
