This place has everything. Prices are a little high, but the place has everything to enjoy and taste from pretty much every region! Probably my FAVORITE store for food and drinks!

I contacted the store to find out if they had a specific produce item. Even though I reached the store the lady that answered the phone told me she could not tell me what was in stock despite telling me she was in corporate. I inquired how does a customer actually receive any customer service and her response was I needed to come in the store to find out. I don’t know how this makes sense but they definitely don’t worry about me shopping there again. What was previously a good experience has gone bad due to this person’s lack of skills. She must not be aware of all the other grocery stores in the area that actually provide customer service. She may not also be aware there is more than one «international» market in the area as well. Let’s hear it for the competition! I doubt she shops there either!

This new business is located in the old Valley Harvest store in the McLendon parking lot on the East hill of Kent. They’re still in the process of adding more amenities, but I was amazed at what was there already.
Produce — Beautiful and inexpensive
Beer selection — Great –also had wines and hard liquor
Staples — I found things I’ve been looking for for months… i.e. juniper berries
They plan to add a scratch bakery, a deli and café soon.
There also is a pet store located inside. I thought it might be odd, but it’s located just off the main aisle. Their inventory was very good, and had supplies for most household pets.
I think I can get almost everything here instead of my usual trip to Winco. Plus, it’s closer! Can’t wait to see how they do!
