The broth was fairly weak, not hearty at all. The steak was pre-cooked, dry and crumbly. And the large was the same size as the small, but with 3 branches of basil and 2 slices of jalapeño. So I’ll be going to Happy Phở Time up the street on Covington from now on.

I love this place. They simmer real phở soup here, not the powder-made fake soup. And they have the best crêpe Vietnamese style. I love love love it! I tried so many Phở places and I tell you, this is the real deal!

I wouldn’t stay and eat at this place, but I order phở to-go when I’m sick. The owner is nice but I wish the atmosphere was better!

I ordered a small chicken phở and an order of spring rolls. The menu says you get 2 spring rolls, you actually just get 1 cut in half. The shrimp inside was cut in half so you don’t notice that you are getting a very thin slice of shrimp rather than a whole shrimp. The broth was not very flavorful, and again the meat was sliced extremely thin. The front lady is horrible at her job and it’s over priced.

Amazing place! The staff is friendly, the vermicelli bowls are amazing and I really enjoy the music they play there. Once there was free fortune cookies for customers — which is really cool.

The young girl working was really friendly but phở had no flavor. It looked good but the broth was flavorless so I added lots of Sriracha and lime juice but just couldn’t stomach any more of it.

I had to walk out. It just struck me as not a nice place to eat. I ordered the fresh rolls. According to the menu I was ordering 2. What I got was 1 cut in half. To tell me that was an order of two struck me as cheap and dishonest. I could only see the meal going down hill from there. Bottom line… don’t bother.

Stopped in for a late lunch as I passed through town. Absolutely loved it! The service was awesome and the restaurant was clean. They were quick, efficient, and kind. And the phở… The phở was phenomenal! A small was plenty. Lots of noodles and meat and vegetables. So so good!

A little overpriced, but it’s 2 minutes away. I usually come here when I’m too lazy to go far. Soup is ok, not too oily.

When the weather outside is frightful, Phở can be soooo delightful. Unless you get it from here. Phở places around here are as prolific as Starbucks. There are several within a stone’s throw of my house. I first tried this place a couple years ago. Placed a to go order of combo bun which is rice noodles and romaine lettuce with egg rolls, pork, and shrimp and a dressing you pour over. Think of it as a salad with noodles. Anyhow after I placed the order the girl said it would be ready in 15 mins and I told her I’d be back in a bit and went to Safeway. 25 mins later I returned and no one was in the restaurant by that time and I asked the girl about my order. Based on her response that she needed to get it and disappeared in the back for 5 mins told me that she forgot to get my order in. After a 10 minute wait(which means 35 mins after I ordered) I finally left with my food. Got home and lo and behold, there’s no shrimp. I call them and the girl says«Oh I’m sorry. If you’d like to come by we can give you an egg roll.» Are you kidding me? I ordered that dish because it includes shrimp and I already have an egg roll! Disgusted that they wouldn’t even fix their error with the right item, I said no and haven’t gone back until today. I felt like phở and figured since it had been a couple years since I had my bad experience there so I thought I’d give them another shot. I ordered a small phở tai with extra meat to go and went to Safeway again but this time when I came back my food was ready. Hooray! I got home and started to prepare my phở. I take phở to go regularly from several different places in the area and one thing that struck me was the amount of broth. Just feeling the container it felt light. And then they pre cook the meat. I could understand doing that if it’s lunch time on a weekday and your restaurant is near a bunch of offices. This is a Saturday and in a residential area. No other place pre cooks their meat. After I get things heated up and put the stuff in my bowl I find that one large chunk of meat is inedible. If you know what silverwall on beef is you know it needs to be removed because you can’t eat it. That’s what that large piece was. The broth was lacking in flavor so I added a bunch of hoisin sauce and when I got everything into my phở bowl(yes I have actual melamine phở bowls like the restaurants serve phở in), it was definitely short on broth. If you look at the picture you’ll see where the broth got up to(every other place gets within ½ inch of the top at minimum) and what I’m holding in the chopsticks is that big chunk of inedible meat. As I started to eat, I came across other pieces of beef that were way too chewy to eat so I spit them out and honestly the flavor of the beef was not good. I ended up throwing out half the food. I feel like I got phở’d over. Obviously I don’t plan to return. However I will admit my meal did end on a sweet note. I ate some chocolate to get rid of the taste.

I haven’t been here in couple months– their food is so good now or maybe its the phở weather. I am coming here all winter long, love the friendly people here.

Okay, I’ve tried many other Phở places since my first review of this place and to stay true to my experiences I’m giving this place 3 stars; their soup is good but a little on the oily side; Do Not order their fried rolls, they’re mushy and old tasting; I ordered their sandwiches one time and will never order it again, they’re cheaply made

found a fly in my phở! so I went here over the weekend and was very disappointed with the experience. I ordered phở to go. and after getting settled at home I pour out my noodles and find a big fly stuck to the back of my noodles… I take everything back(in my own bowl) in the shape of the container they had it in so they didn’t think I placed the fly there…(you never know right?) so we get there(my bf had ordered vermicelli noodles and didn’t want to eat his after he seen my «side of bug») he went in and asked for a refund the guy at the register refused to give a refund and said he would remake our food… he sad no… we don’t trust your food now… we just want out money back… he accused us of putting the fly there(like I stated above) what would I gain from that I wanted phở… the guy then continued by telling him how much it costs to make those meals and how much of a waste of ingredients it was. my bad at this point was pissed because none of that waS relevant to our problem. the guy then proceeded to call 911 on us because we wouldn’t leave without a refund! he told the cops that there was an angry customer at his restaurant that wouldn’t leave and was irate… the cops told him to call back if we actually got violent or actually did something cause it didn’t sound like we were threatening(we weren’t lol…) the guy finally gave us a refund… we will NEVER go back there. smh…

Came in here tonight and ordered the rare beef phở. I find this restaurant to be one of the better phở places in this area. After moving from Seattle to Auburn, it has been challenging finding a good phở restaurant. This place is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Plus it’s close to home! We will continue to be regulars at this location.

Saw the 2.5 rating and was skeptical, went because I was short on time. This place does not deserve only 2.5 stars. Delicious broth, tender cuts of tai, and nice service. Was very pleasantly surprised.

This was the 1st Phở restaurant I tried, having been recommended by my daughter. Since I never had Phở, I found it to be delicious. Since then, I have had other Phở & realize the Phở is average. The broth has a weird sweet aftertaste & is not very flavorful. The staff is very friendly and it makes me feel a bit bad writing this. Perhaps they will see their reviews and work on it. I don’t eat beef and one time got home to realize my chicken was in fact, beef. I hate it when you get your taste buds set on something and then BAM, disappointment. The hassle of going back is just annoying. I know, #1stWorldProblems. Went earlier this week, get home all set on Phở. Ummmm, no sprout bag at all. No lime, no peppers, no sauce. Ugh! I’m not going back just for sprouts. Ate what I had, and was very let down.

Great service. Food was pretty good. Not my favorite broth used for phở but I liked everything they put in it. I got Phở with shrimp only. Also got fresh shrimp spring rolls that were good. Not the best peanut sauce but I added chili sauce it tasted better. My daughter(2 years old) actually ate one too! Fist time ever! My husband got phở with beef brisket. I liked his broth. Mango bubble tea was pretty good too.

Stopped in to get some take out and then ran to safeway for some groceries rather then wait. The food was fine; normal prices for normal anticipated food. I thought it was odd that there was a girl there trying to sell me an energy drink but more strangely they had samples pre-poured and just out in the open… just very strange. i don’t drink strange things from open cups — that’s not a good idea, ever. Not sure I’ll be back as the whole experience was awkward and annoying.
