To my great dismay, after living in my home for 29 years, in Greenwood, I found I have mice living in the floors. Or, I thought it was mice. Turns out it was rats. You could hear them nightly overhead, from the bedroom in the basement. I went with another pest company, they came and set traps, caught 2 rodents, but there was still lots of scurrying each night. And then didn’t catch anymore. And there was no more service from the company, even though I called and emailed and pleaded with them.
So, I was very aware that not only did I not solve the rodent problem, but I also was going into finding and dealing with another company with significant suspicion and distrust. My brother said that his experience was that often these companies can attract unsavory types.
Well, SafeShield has busted through those stereotypes, and restored my trust. Terry was the service guy who came and did the first call. He so much knew what he was talking about. I interviewed him a little, because of my previous bad experience. He’s been in the field for 15 years. He could answer all my questions, and concerns like the rodents getting trapped in the house and smelling after they died. He even found exactly where some of the problem was, and took a few small steps to board up 2 holes and put some bait/​poison there. And we hadn’t even yet agreed on the work or talked cost — he just wanted to help me out, because he could see that the infestation was bad, and a few small steps would go a long way, and that timing was important.
I can’t tell you what a relief this was. The work isn’t totally done yet, the creatures are not yet all out, but I can see the light, and that we will soon be scurry free, soon. It was a hard choice, to opt for killing rather than removing. But I think it’s necessary, at this junction.
In an area like this, it means a great deal to know you can trust someone. In my interactions with this company, I have found integrity and keeping their word. And even, it’s a funny thing where you might find this, but even in something as distasteful as rats in the house, to meet up with good people.

I have had their service these last two summers and I have been very impressed by the results. The workers are kind and honest and got the job done fast, and most importantly they respect my time. No complaints.

These guys did a very good job on my house. They took down all the webs, went in the attic and killed all the spiders in the garage. I’ve had other services that didn’t do very good killing our spiders but these guys annihilated them! YAY! I had to change service because we are moving and I’m sad we can’t continue with them. They were nice, prompt and always on time.

I received a call from this company’s brand manager. I have talked my concern based on first 2 visits (which should be completed in a single one visit); and brand manager has solved them through over the phone. We agreed that future mutual communication would be better between technician and customers to avoid not necessary revisits; and potential glitch.
I am surprised to find out how much they care about their reputation on Unilocal.I am expecting the following visits with great quality of services.
