Went and saw Pyrah to have her dye my hair an aubergine color, she personally had purple and black hair and I should’ve probably left when I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she said «So like mine?», clearly is color blind. So she starts by bleaching my hair, tells me to let her know if it starts burning and then walks off to gossip and laugh with her coworkers all the way across the salon so when my scalp did start burning I couldn’t let her know and one of the other stylists had to come and get her when my timer for the bleach went off. She asked the other stylists a lot for advice as if she had no idea what she was doing and kept referring to her own hair instead of the color I asked for, she showed me a purple color in the bowl and I told her to put more red in so she ended up creating a mixture with a smokey grey color, magenta, and red and my hair ended up fire truck red and extremely fried. She charged me for a deep condition when all she did was run conditioner through my hair, didn’t leave it in for any length of time and instantly rinsed it out. When it came to cutting my hair I told her to try her best to keep the length, trim my layers, bangs, and thin my hair. The haircut wasn’t bad, my bangs looked horrible so I cut them myself when I got home and fixed them and she tried to convince me to not have my hair thinned because she didn’t like it on herself, which I found to be ridiculous since I’ve been having my hair thinned for the past 6 years. She offered to fix my hair, but I had already spent 4 hours and $ 200 at this salon so I told her it was fine and went home and fixed it myself. Got exactly the color I was looking for within an hour at home.
From what I can tell, stylists Dana and Anique do amazing work, hopefully Pyrah can learn from them.

I went in on 11/​16/​2015 and was seen by Grace I normally get a fade haircut and told her that’s what I wanted, she really sucked she left so many patches of long hair, I had to grab the clippers from her at one point because I was so frustrated and had to show her exactly what I wanted and even after doing so she still didn’t do it. And she didn’t blend my hair correctly, cut way to high up making the hair cut looking like a military haircut which I do not like. She never showed me the back of the hair which I obviously knew why, and that’s because afterwards my boyfriend told me she left me patches all over my hair. She really didn’t know anything I would never go back. Please take your business elsewhere. And at the end the lady at the counter asked me how my service was and I told her «it was ok» with a stink face I think she caught the point that I did not like my service whatsoever. 1 star for sure.

I am so happy I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dana for the amazing miracle working she did on my hair! I have finally found someone I can trust with my blonde!
I went in to see Dana after being referred to her by 2 different people. I wish I would have gone to see her sooner. After having my hair destroyed since sept of 2014 by many different stylists. In 1 visit Dana was able to get my hair back to where 4 other stylists were not able to in a number of visits. I came in after being fed up with all the other stylus and trying to do my own hair needless to say that did not work out very well and when I got there she made me feel that everything was going to be okay and when I left there I knew it was and I had a sense of happiness I have not had in a very very long time. I felt like a new woman! I am confident again and cannot stop smiling! Thank you so much!

Anique is an amazing Stylist and is only going up from here. Seriously need to check her out

I can’t see … Wait that’s just hair clippings in my eyes ! I visited this third dimension on ¹²⁄₉ and was seen by Sierra. Never again will I return ! The lady up front was prompt to help me as soon as I walked in. Sierra washed and cut my hair. I am very disappointed, she washed my hair leaving some conditioner in it. She then proceeded to cut my hair. She never trimmed my sideburns. Left hair all over my face, neck and head. She never blew any of it off and didn’t even show me the back of my head to make sure it was okay. I asked for a fo-​hawk and received a Cesar with the fo-​hawk on the back of my head. She wasn’t very friendly. She seemed in a hurry and could careless. This place seems full of old lady’s that smell like moth balls! Stay away and take your chances elsewhere !!! Or just use the bowl and shaver method !

I had a great experience at Third Dimension Salon. I was able to get in right away for a cut. They are pretty inexpensive and styled my hair! They even had a deep conditioning treatment deal going on. My hair feels amazing! Definitely going back :)

I took my 5-​year-​old son here for a haircut. Those of you with kids know this can be an adventure as any number of things can catch their eye, causing them to jerk their head all around to comment, non-​stop about whatever it is they see.
I had a bad feeling right off the bat when the receptionist said she needed to see if they could take us — as I’m staring at a bored stylist sitting in her chair with nothing to do. Perhaps she doesn’t have the temperament for kids because she disappeared to the back. Lucky us.
The woman who we ended up with instead was great. She was patient, asked him lots of questions to keep his mind busy, and gave him a pretty decent haircut overall. The price was fair and I’m pretty happy with the experience. My son even commented the next morning how he couldn’t leave the house before having his hair done like the lady did the previous day. We will definitely be back.
Why four stars and not five? The receptionist was cold and uninviting. She didn’t welcome us, thank us, or even look at me when taking my money. It’s unfortunate to have poor service up front, and doesn’t warrant a 5 star experience.

I went to this salon based almost entirely on the fact that they had a coupon on the back of my Fred Meyer receipt. Out of curiosity, I checked them out on Unilocal and looked at some photos. Mediocre reviews, but one photo was of the hair style I wanted, so I figured I would call.
The girl on the phone was polite in answering my questions and scheduled me with Anique, who could do the cut and ombré coloring I was craving. When I sat down, she asked a lot of questions and let me show her a few pictures on my phone to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She was really nice, and did an absolutely amazing job. My ombré is gorgeous, and she even managed to curl my impossible hair. I left so happy! Even though my appointment ended up taking a little over 3 hours, she made sure I always had a magazine and water and never rushed me out the door. I was happy with the cost as well. I think I fell in love and will be back :)
FAR exceeded my expectations, would definitely recommend!

The salon itself is nice, mostly friendly women. The stylist I got on the other hand was not a friendly woman. I went in for a cut and color. While she did my hair she frowned the whole time and would not talk to me, i tried, but when my hair was setting she would gather with the other gals and gossip, I felt so awkward. On top of the poor customer service and unfriendly demeanor, I am very unhappy with my hair and I left telling them i was unhappy with my hair. It turned out so much darker than I wanted and i told her a million times not to make it brassy and guess what? its pure yucky brass, a very expensive mistake. If you are to go and get your hair done im sure the other gals will do a fine job just avoid Beth.

This is a good salon that’s reasonably priced with friendly people. I’ve gotten haircuts from 3 different stylists and Kayla does the best job! I get as good a haircut from her as from any of the stylists I used to go to at the Gene Juarez in Tacoma Mall.

There’s a reason my wife and I keep coming back. She prefers a specific stylist, and I will take who I get. I always have gotten good conversationalists and people who know how to work with my multiple cowlicks (so cutting it short is always a challenge). My wife has kept who she has for so long because of her proficiency, willingness to listen and to contribute, and because of the friendship. Sadly she is no longer there, but we have a lot of loyalty here because the quality has been so high and the stylists’ demeanor being so positive.

I’ve mostly been a grocery store bought hair color user but wanted a nice hair color with out the brassy look. I chose some caramel highlights on my brown hair with dark purple peek-​a-​boo streaks through out. After going home I realized that the purple wasn’t as vibrant as I had wanted so I called the salon up and made an appointment for the next day. I got the same stylist (Chelsea) and she made sure my hair was just like I had wanted. I felt really bad coming back because I didn’t want her to think I was complaining or being picky. Everyone thanked me for coming back and reassured me it was fine. I will be returning for future hair care and would definately reccomend them!

I see Talisha for my highlights and cut. I think they have a level system for their stylists based on education and experience. The prices are reasonable, good variety of hair care to choose from. She always quote my service price before she starts so there are no surprises. They provide a lot of education for their staff so I feel confident with their color formulations and recommendations. Infact I changed my color a bit today and it was just what I wanted!

This is a solid salon. They’re not the smooth talking, fancy type and I’m ok with that. The stylists here respect your opinion and actually listen to you without being condescending. I always dread the look of death that tends to come when I admit it’s been 6 (okay, 9) months since I last had a haircut. But I’ve never gotten that negative response here, which is awesome!
You’ll come out looking better but looking like yourself. Everyone here is friendly enough but not in a fake way, and any advice they have on hairstyles seems to always be creative. I like going here. Good service, reasonable prices… that’s enough to keep me coming back!

Wrote a review 2 months ago, since than I’ve had to cut 6 inches off my hair, my hair continues to fall out, hair has thinned out by 60% and I’ve had to spend $ 500 in corrective steps to my hair to help lessen the hair loss. This has been the most devastating hair experience in my whole life! I wish this place never existed!!!

Go see Mary Jane at this location. I got my haircut from her here and she did exactly what I had asked for and then some. This location also has walk-​ins which is convenient for those who dont have an appointment. They have a nice selection of hair products if needed and have good sales.
