Fantastic selection of products not readily available in conventional grocery stores. Frozen, dry, produce and meat/fish are diverse and comprehensive. Staff is always friendly and helpful, despite the occasional language barrier. Awesome selection of cooking tools and implements as well. Great prices.

The variety of food and products they have as compared to the other supermarkets in the is a lot. Items ranging from Korean, Vietnamese, and to Japanese! I had came in here for a wasabi paste, quite honestly expecting the market not to carry that item but they did! Despite this, something needs to be done about the atmosphere of the market and smell. The smell is aweful.

This is one of the more bigger markets in Michigan so this is my pros and cons of this market PROS –organized –fresh –mostly clean –easy to find –good costumer service –and variety of goods CONS –crowded –not a fair price if you have at least 10 items to 15 But overall if you shop somewhere new come here I recommend it

Great store! I have to admit the smell coming from the fresh fish in the back is a bit off putting, however, they have anything you could need so I appreciate that. Friendly staff and customers who helped the white girl find what she needed. I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for an Asian market that had it all, then look no further. This place has it all. I would like to note as an update to another Unilocalers review on this stores page from a couple years ago they no longer sell shark fins. The prices are very affordable. Just outside is a mini food shop/café on a variety of Vietnamese delicacies to choose from. My mom says they have they best dessert in the area & often purchases the sticky rice. Which i found to be awesomely delicious. You can order café su da to go as well for only $ 3. This visit we ate at the Chinese restaurant located in the same building. We ate their crispy pork and duck with Chinese broccoli. Delicious! The staff was very friendly & prices were very affordable.

I now have a better appreciation of Kim Nhung market after checking out Asian markets in Chicago where Kim Nhung get their supplies from(look at my review of Broadway Supermarket in Chicago). I can see that this store really tries to provide a comprehensive stock of items and very good service compared to the Asian markets that I checked out in Chicago. I can say the same thing about Seoul Market for Korean and Japanese goods. Both store have very competitive prices and good service. I have concluded that there is no point shopping for Asian goods in Chicago as our stores in GR have much to offer. Oh, and parking is a big issue in the Windy City. I still say that they should update their coolers and freezers, keep their seafood fresh and not keep old stuff. Also the floor should be replaced. They should also exhaust their ventilation thru the seafood area so the odors do not spread to the store. Further, the entire building can use some renovation. The main corridors leading to the grocery and restaurants can really use a long overdue renovation. The exterior can also use a lot of improvements. If the building owner cleans this place up it can be the place to go for all your Asian gorcery and food needs.

One of my biggest concerns when I moved to Grand Rapids from Los Angeles was the lack of Asian grocery stores. Luckily, I found Kim Nhung through a recommendation of a friend. Kim Nhung is easily the biggest Asian grocery store in Grand Rapids. They have a wide array of foods, sauces, meats, noodles, desserts, etc. I always grab two jars of kimchi because they’re excellent! Furthermore, everything is very well organized and the employees are extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

This is the biggest Asian supermarket in the metro Grand Rapids area. This place is packed on the weekends but is quiet during the weekdays. The location is convient inside a Asian Strip Mall called Golden Bridge Plaza ive been coming here for years every week for my groceries.
