Awesome service and food. Swordfish tacos, chicken Philly, sweet potatoe fries, kids chicken finger basket, chicken wings-all delicious! !!

Third visit to The Catch — still the best conch fritters and Sea food in my opinion. New for me fried onion strings — yum. Grouper and Mahi super fresh — the staff fun and friendly — fried sea food really good not heavy with oil — this small restaurant is clean with nice bar — music Friday and Saturdays.

The food was excellent and the staff are incredibly friendly. Hilighly recommend it if you’re a tourist and want to try the local food. I can’t wait to comeback again. Try the blackened hogfish!

This is my first time in the keys, and my 4th day at key largo. The catch for the day was hog fish and the server said hog fish tacos was today’s special. Being a huuuge taco lover I ordered that. I was not disappointed, lettuce, tomato, grilled hog fish, fresh avocado slices topped off with a creamy zesty sauce. What really won me over was the fact that I’ve been trying«the best homemade key lime pie around!» In 3 other restaurants. This time around, the server didn’t «sell» the key lime pie, she kindly and sweetly asked if we wanted dessert. Let me tell you, it was the best one. Hands. Down. I later told her our funny key lime pie taste-a-thon. After some good laughs she explains that this restaurant is owned by a British woman and that she has a specific key lime recipe that MUST be followed by the cooks, and every now and then she comes in to taste-check.(What a dream job) She also told us about the rum cake and how that’s homemade too, we couldn’t help it – and of course it was heaven, just like the service, the atmosphere, the tacos all the way to dessert! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing. Long gone are the days of paradise pub. Conch soup was best I’ve had in keys since I can remember. I been living in area(weekend warrior) for 15 years. Everything was fresh and top notch. Put this on your go to list for sure. Daily specials and happy hour too!

Stopped here on our way to Key West. Enjoyed Gator bites for the first time. They were seasoned well and it was not dry. It really does tastes like chicken! We also had Mahi sticks. I was not crazy about either of the sauces that came with them. Very mayo based. The ambience is very much a bar scene. I probably would not bring my kids here at night, only during the day.

We stopped at The Catch on our drive to Key West and it was exactly what we were wanting. It still feels local and not touristy even though many tourists seem to stop in like we did. The fish tacos(I chose blackened mahi) were amazing. My bf got a seafood basket. It was good, but I definitely out ordered him. Good food, good prices! Highly recommend.

Best fish tacos in the Keys! This trip I tried many fish tacos. These were by far the best. I got the Mahi Mahi blackened for the tacos. As I ate, I heard people all around me raving about whatever they had ordered. Friendly staff.

My dad is a local and loves this place and now so do I. The baked stuffed Mahi Mahi is to die for! Started with artichoke spinach dip which is great and some cocktails! If you go through Key Largo don’t miss it!

Our new favorite little spot. Our family loves coming here to eat their delicious and exquisite Fish Tacos. If you think you’ve had the best and haven’t eaten here…, then think again. They have an out of this world fish dip served with crackers. Their sample platter is also delish and they allow you to substitute items if need be. Kids always love their shrimp baskets with fries and their chocolate dessert. Best of all, staff is very nice, friendly, and very attentive. Made us all feel like family. Will definitely continue to stop here on our weekend Keys getaways.

I’ve been here several times and the food has always been very good. Owner, Kathy and Paige(sp?) have done a nice job with this restaurant. I’ve been there for lunch and dinner and food was good.

Our first stop in the Keys. The fish tacos were amazing! My husband had the blackened mahi sandwich and loved it. This has to be where the locals hang out!

Stopped in at this little place across from our hotel after a nice Coral Reef boat ride at the John Pennekamp park a mile or so down the street. There was 4 people in there, a man drinking at the bar, and a woman with what seemed like 2 teenagers on the other side of the bar. When we were seated I immediately noticed that the music was blaring really loud, and when I asked the waitress if she could turn it down, her initial response was did we want to sit at another table which was in a separate(closed off) room. Just as I raised my eyebrows at her response, she came to her senses and said she would turn the music down. We ordered clam chowder, which was nothing special at all(maybe even Sysco brand) and oysters-on-the-half shell to start. It was happy hour and the oysters were one of the specials. The oysters were OK, nothing like the ones I had the day before at Half Shell Raw Bar in Key West. For the main dish I had the turkey plate which came with mashed potatoes, some stuffing, and a slice of canned cranberry jelly. It was OK. My partner had the seafood basked, which had clams, shrimp, and fish — all battered and deep-fried. When they brought this out, it had only the clams, so they took it back and gave us the correct dish. This was very average and again tasted like frozen Sysco product. For dessert we had Key Lime pie, of course. And again, just another mass produced, out-of-the-box food service product. Nothing seemed to be made fresh at this place.

Go here! Spent a couple days in Key Largo at the Hilton(whos restaurant is way over priced and not very good) and picked this place off of the advice of other Unilocal reviews. Service was outstanding! One of my boys wasn’t feeling well and she went out of the way to make him feel better. Food was great(stuffed shrimp for the wife and broiled seafood platter with the fish blackened for me). Nice cold draft and the key lime pie was off the charts! As a side note, one of my boys had the spaghetti & meatballs and the meatballs were incredible, we all shared them. Nice quaint place, will definitely make it a stop on all future trips to the keys.
