Service was mediocre… woman at window not only has trouble understanding English but completely have half of our order to someone else… then they couldn’t even redo it due to not have enough Duck and this was at 11:25am and they open at 11am… Can you say«Unacceptable»

Sooooo good. We got the shrimp burrito and the café con Leche. They are using new coffee and it is amazing! The burrito was a wonderful surprise of flavors and I can’t imagine anyone giving this place a low rating. It was far better than the crab shack and several other places farther in town. Did I mention the café con Leche is amazing!?!

This place was delicious, but somehow they lost our ticket. It’s a walk up stand so it cute, and what we expected to be quick… After waiting 25 mins for the food, we went back up to check on it and they found our ticket in the trash. They made our food very quickly, and apologized. The food was great though! I got a chicken burrito and the seasoning on the chicken was to die for. My husband got the key west shrimp burrito and loved it too. Just giving the 4 stars for the fact they lost our ticket.

Pretty chill. You can order drinks from the bar next door and sit on the porch and chill. What more do you want? Great break from Duval and the tacos are above average, great lunch spot.

Compared to Garbo’s Grill this is the«great value» version of tacos. Not worth it. Surprised it was featured on the Food Network Channel.

A $ 10 burrito with undercooked rice, cabbage slaw(which traditionally goes on a taco, not a burrito) no guacamole, no lettuce, Pico with too much tomato and no cilantro… don’t want the 300 calorie tortilla, $ 3.00 for a cardboard bowl. Let me say that again A $ 10.00BURRITO! A $ 10 shrimp quesadilla with 7 shrimp. A $ 10.00QUESADILLA! $ 5.00 for a 16oz watermelon aqua Fresca? A $ 5.0016oz CUPOFFRUITFLAVOREDWATER! Terrible attitude from the woman in the service window. Most expensive burrito I’ve even eaten and a $ 5.0016oz cup of water? Seriously? Never again, never!

One of the better burritos I’ve had in many a moon. Another Triple-D Hot Spot and an easy one to recommend. They’ve hitched their location next to a good looking bar away from Duval Street foot traffic. Outside patio tables and great music coming from the jukebox in the bar. We ordered guacamole, an Ernesto Gaucho and a build your own Fattie. We reckon the«Ernesto» is a call out to Hemingway(although he probably never ate here)…Fresh watermelon juice drink is nice on a hot day. The guac is very fresh and good. They keep it simple and don’t add too many flavors. The chips are not made here but they are good. The burritos were very very(intentionally double tasty) tasty, moist and made with fresh ingredients. Another plus(and this is particular to me) is that they serves the food on real plates! Not paper or Styrofoam. Window service is very friendly. The patio setting is shared with the Bottle Cap bar and the Blue Room nightclub. Great combo for those late night drinkers. The bartender at the BC is very nice. You can buy a beer or cocktail with you lunch if that’s how you’re rolling.

They had me at the homemade corn tortillas! Delicious TRIO, chicken, beef and pork. And they deliver too!

The lady there is angry and rude. I called for a delivery order to my place of work and requested 4 separate orders. She said, «that’s really annoying and I have 8 people in line.» When she found out I wanted separate cash orders(for separate receipts, but not her business) she was outraged and continued to huff and puff on the phone. I guess four orders is a real problem for them, so I recommend trying to keep your orders small. Then the lady hung up on me before I was able to ask for a total or delivery time. I’ve gone there twice before for pickup and there was a long line with sassy service. Their understaffing or lack of management problems should never become the customers problem, or blame. The lady answering the phone on April 9th was the last straw of bad service I’m willing to put up with, but I did enjoy their food.

Bland meat, soggy, falling apart tacos, bagged chips not made by them, random sauces on the tacos not listed and all together a bad experience would not feed my dog.

I want to give this place no stars or negative stars, my friend and I ordered tacos… Don’t do this if you want tacos what we got where these excuse for tacos or should say mini taco sliders when they got to us they where soggy and pretty much exploded and fell apart instantly. Sure if you want a fresh salad on top of bread pudding with meat mixed in order the tacos which did I miss saying each came with three different colored sauces each more gross then the last order the tacos!!! «don’t do it»

Ingredients FRESH and flavors strong. Veggies and chicken both really nice. Shredded cabbage adds a light snap. Pico looks like it was made minutes ago. A winner!

Food is very good, if your expectations are for a simple Burrito window. Note: the«seating» is at an attached(separate business) bar. I had a shrimp burrito. Excellent, big enough to fill you up, but not insane novelty big. Smaller than a Chipoltle for example. My girlfriend had the«Trio Tacos», also very good. Small but over stuffed. Overall good experience, especially if your getting lunch or a late night bar treat. Just know if you bring the kids, you have to get it to go.

One of my favorites. I make sure to come by here every time I am in Key West. The pink shrimp burrito is my fave. Definitely worth a stop if you are on island. :-) :-)

I’ve been to Key West a few times, and this most recent time around I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Bad Boy Burrito. It’s an unassuming window on Simonton Street, but it has some of the best burritos I’ve ever had. The place itself seems kind of random — it doesn’t have any seating area, and you order directly from the sidewalk. But apparently they have some kind of agreement for patio seating with the bar next-door, and that actually was clutch. Key West has such a drinking culture that putting a burrito place next to a bar isn’t all that unusual. The food is absolutely delicious. The steak burrito I had had very high quality meat, nothing like Chipotle. My partner combined the veggie burrito with some meat, and it was a great combination. There aren’t many places where you can get a zucchini burrito. The bar next-door was not extravagantly priced at all, and it was very chill. They’re used to all the burrito people and you can get waiter service in the patio area. Overall, highly recommend Bad Boy Burrito for a quick burrito if you’re not in the mood to go out for a big dinner. Just as well, I’m sure it’s very good food after a night of drinking.

One of the best places I visitied while I was at the Keys. I recommend the burrito since it’s in their name and really delicious and filling. I went on two different days. On my first day when I was hungry for an early dinner(5pm) and Sugar Apple was closed. It was actually the Sugar Apple staff the suggested Bad Boy Burrito(pretty close walking distance and I also recommend the Sugar Apple smoothies but that is for a different review) I got the mix mushroom burrito($ 8) and is was AMAZING. Very flavorful and super tasty. On my last day is was pretty rainy and stormy but then I looked up Bad Boy Burrito and hey! They deliver! I called them up and this time I got the fish burrito($ 12). Apparently they get it fresh that day and get a text from the fisherman on what they caught, so it changes everyday. Then Bad Boy Burrito cleans and grills it for your burrito. Very good! The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is that their deliver takes about an hour.

Almost close to a perfect burrito! Coming from Hawaii we are limited in our options of good Mexican food… So when on vacation in the Keys my husband and I went on a hunt for good Mexican, specifically a really good burrito. We stumbled upon this place(Thanks Unilocal!) and picked up our burrito. It was so close, and I wanted to love it so much. It was darn tasty, but I can’t rate it 5 stars — it was just lacking in something. Also, the burritos were a bit pricey!

Vegan options in Key West are kind of limited, but after some snooping on Unilocal,of course I found a great new place to try! I even ignored all the not so nice reviews of this café just to give them a chance, and I’m so glad I did. After a long day of walking Duval and shopping, I decided I wanted the food to just come to me. I called in my order of vegan mushroom taco trio, topped with cabbage, jalapeño, and cilantro, and a side of rice and beans. In twenty short minutes my tacos were delivered to my door! I opened up the box and something smelled funny. I picked up a taco and peeked under the toppings to see what looked like ground beef. I gave it to my carnivorous boyfriend for the taste test and he confirmed it was beef. Although super bummed(because I was super hungry) I gave them a ring back and let them know what happened. The man on the phone was sweet and accommodating, and let me know he’d fix it right away and have new tacos sent over shortly. My boyfriend and I grabbed a few beers and had a nice relaxing wait on the porch. Again, the taco man came over quick with a new box of tacos! My boyfriend tried to return the uneaten tacos and the man said he could keep them since they messed up, and someone might as well enjoy them. I can honestly say I’m glad they messed up, because the way they handled it really impressed me. The employees were apologetic and sincere, and the service was really fast. Even better was the fact that both my boyfriend and I got to enjoy food from their restaurant and we both loved it! My tacos were so good, my mouth is watering as I write this review. The mushrooms were juicy and cooked perfectly(not too mushy), the cabbage was cold and crunchy, and the cilantro and jalapeño gave it the most amazing spicy and fresh flavor. They even threw in some of their pico de gallo in my box which totally made the meal. I don’t know if they usually put pico in the box and they forgot on my first order, or if they added it in as a little«sorry,» but that’s what made the tacos perfect. For the small uncharge the pico is SO worth it! My boyfriend and I have both worked in the food service industry and we know that mistakes happen and it’s not a big deal. It’s not about how infrequently the restaurant makes those mistakes, it’s how they make up for them. All together, because of the food, the service, and the sincerity of the employees, I will always come back to this taco stand!

Begeistert! Die Kombinationen sind sehr lecker! Topping, Soßen und Fleisch sind nicht einfallslos! Ganz im Gegenteil! Super Laden! Klasse!

This review is specifically for the smoothie. I went up to the window and asked the girl for the smoothie menu. She said it’s on the board. The outside chalk board said… Smoothies — Blue or Green(see pic). Now I don’t think of myself as a smoothie novice, but what the heck does that mean? So I asked her. She said she thinks they have papaya, pineapple, blueberries(maybe one other fruit, can’t recall) with orange juice. The green one is spinach and kale. Gee! Way to be creative selling them. *sarcasm* With the limited options I went ahead and ordered the Blue. She proceeded to whip it up in the blender and away I went. Hello? There was no ice in it! It was just thin whipped fruit and orange juice in a small plastic cup for $ 6. Too boot, a very large tip jar was positioned right in front of you at the counter, so I threw in another buck before tasting it. My stupidity. I made it one block before finishing the entire drink tossing it in the trash can. A good smoothie usually lasts me the entire trek across the island. I was furious. Whipped fruit and O.J. on a midsummer’s day in the subtropics does not a refreshing drink make.
