The ceviche mixta was great, the spice and citrus was spot on. The staff are very helpful and friendly, a great hidden spot on White St not too far from the shopping areas.

Saw on Unilocal and gave it a shot. One of our party was Peruvian so we thought we’d take advantage of expert opinion. Good authentic food at a great price. Would recommend if you’re in Key West.

Love it! The leche de tigre is delish! So is The lomo saltado de carne, and The ceviche mixto. I love the homemade chicha morada as well. If you visit key west, you can’t miss this place. They’re closed in Sundays. :)

We found a nice quiet restaurant on New Years Eve, away from the busy Duval crowd. My Ecuatorian wife wanted to take us to try Peruvian food. My son thought it was as good as abuelas, so it has the made from scratch taste. He had Aguadita de Pollo to start. We started with the Papas in hueracan sauce. Good start! I had the Seco con frijoles. Not the same type of Seco I have had in Ecuador, but was tasty. The ceviche mixto was enjoyed by my youngest. My wife had lomo saltada de carne. Made her remember home. Seafood spaghetti? Yep, my oldest can’t get enough of pasta so he tried the Tallarine del mar. He was happy. Finished the meal with Flan. Good ending! Plates were large. Plenty of food. Good choice of South American restaurant. Try the Sangria.

Really really good. I had never eaten Peruvian food before, so I tried yuca, ceviche, and lomo saltado, which were all excellent. This restaurant is a little out of the way from Duval Street, but it’s well worth visiting.

Delicious flavorful dishes, comfort food, home style flair. Our family of 4 sampled the yucca fries and ceviche mixto for apps, and shared the saltado beef dish, the fried seafood dish and the peruvian-style paella/fried rice with seafood(this one was my favorite). The fried rice had a complex slightly smoky spiced flavor, which I loved, possibly from the saffron and smoked paprika? The ceviche was excellent and fresh, citrusy and well flavored with red onion. For dessert, the flan was a generous wedge of creamy smooth caramel-y lusciousness. The homemade ice cream was 3 small scoops, rich dulce de leche-flavored. Prices are very reasonable — $ 15 ish for entrees. Note that a 15% tip was added to our bill, although the menu does not say they do this. We normally tip 20% for good service, so the amount wasn’t a problem — just that it wasn’t clearly identified on the bill; If we didn’t check the numbers and ask about the charge, we could’ve unknowingly tipped on top of the tip.

Average Peruvian spot, nothing special and a little off the path(away from Duval), there are much better spots in Key West.

We went with high expectations based on the reviews and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was simple, yet cozy. The mixed ceviche was flavorful and delicious. Seafood paella had good flavor. The beer, wine, and dessert selection is fairly limited, but the attention to flavor was highly appreciated.

If you’re in Key West on vacation or if you live there, you have to try this place. The look of it is quite deceiving, nothing special, some tables and chairs arranged in a small sitting area of the restaurant. But the food is TODIEFOR. The Tacu-tacu con lomo saltado de Carne is a must try. It’s basically potatoes(in this case French fries) covered in sautéed onions and perfectly cooked beef, drenched in a brothy sauce. Sounds simple enough but it’ll start a party in your mouth. Feeling fishy? The chicharron de pescado will amaze you. Basically deep fried fish bites over a bed of tostones, served with a red onion, cilantro lime relish sauce and Incas own Peruvian tartar. Wash it all down with one of their homemade Sangrias and bask in the afterglow of a meal that’ll rock your socks.

The food was excellent and a fraction of what you’d pay on Duval. Cozy and no wait too. Definitely worth the walk.

What a little gem in the middle of the keys. I have been to many Peruvian restaurants and came here expecting authentic cuisine with an average taste. But I got so much more! I think the ceviche was the freshest I’ve ever had in my entire life while the meal was probably the most creative that I’ve ever had out of all the Peruvian places I’ve been to. I recommend it! Please don’t skip out on this amazingly authentic experience.

Small, quaint restaurant. Parking in the back. Good chicken soup, only soup by the way. Cozy atmosphere, quiet and not many guests. Food took awhile to come but was worth it. Peruvian corn for appetizer which is like the standard like having bread at another restaurant.

Home of the best Ceviche EVER! And I mean EVER! It was perfect in every sense. Their sangria was quite nice too as it had plenty of fresh fruit to enjoy after finishing the beverage. A family owned restaurant can be polarizing when it comes to quality, in this case it is a success because of the fine effort that is applied to their business. Aesthetic Appeal & Atmosphere: The restaurant is small and is family owned with comfortable seating, noise level is minimal, and interior décor screams authentic representation of small Latin American restaurants. Service: Was friendly with a warm welcoming in a broken American-English accent. If the english was spoken too fluently, then that would have sparked a red flag for me from the start Meal & Drinks Quality: They brought out some dried corn nuts with a little flare which were quite tasty. As aforementioned, they offer the best ceviche that I’ve ever tasted! Their peruvian corn was delicious too. Aesthetic Appeal & Atmosphere: 5 of 5 Service: 5 of 5 Meal & Drinks Quality: 5 of 5

Very authentic peruvian food! My wife is peruvian and so we try out all the peruvian restaurants we find throughout the US and France. This one is one of the best we have found!

We were on vacation with the kids, and looking for a place to eat. We didn’t want the same thing every place had, over priced fried chicken and fries. We were glad we found this place. Traditional Peruvian food and a great ambient for everybody, and the food was excellent. We are defending coming back here in our next trip.

We were three peruvians friends on vacation looking for the best Peruvian restaurant in Key West and we were impressed with the amazing taste of the classic ceviche, the creamiest and tasty huancaina sauce and the tender and flavorful lomo saltado… One of the members of the owner family: Giulianna welcome us in a very friendly way making as feel at home.. I am a current resident of Fort Lauderdale very close to Peruvian communities and I can say for sure I had the best ceviche in the entire state of Florida. We are thinking eating here everyday for the rest of our stay.

If you have ever eaten Peruvian food, please don’t go here. I am guessing all the 4 and 5 stars are from people who are trying Peruvian food for the first time. I love Peruvian food and even make Ahi sauce at home, so this came as a complete let down. On the bright side, the restaurant is clean, service is ok(not friendly) and I did like the dish of Choclo(warm Peruvian giant corn bits) which came with Huancaina cream sauce(spicy sauce but they are too miser with it). For enterees we ordered Lomo Saltado and seafood paella. The Lomo saltado was watery(yuck) and lacking any flavor. It was really pathetic. The beef was chewy which made this dish one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. The Paella was horrible. It was basically fried rice with 2 – 3 pieces of shrimps and scallops. If I had not ordered the same dish at El Siboney, I would have thought maybe no one knows what paella really tastes like in Key west. Please do yourself a favor and do not order this dish. The rice was not even fresh… I left most of it. The food was really disgusting, we ended up asking the server to give us some sauce to put some flavor on the food. I would not recommend this place if you are foodie or just like to eat good food. It is overpriced for the mediocre dishes and bland, flavorless food that come out of the kitchen.
