tried dulce de leche + vanilla regular cone dipped in chocolate. tasted good, rather light custard and melted quickly. still felt like heaven in a hot day!

Highly recommend this place! The flavors were good and they can even dip it in chocolate or(and?) sprinkles afterwards. Get some of the samples to help you decide. I had the pumpkin cinnamon swirl dipped in chocolate. Hopefully it’s not seasonal and you can try it to!

I used to go to Kohrs on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant, NJ so I was so excited to see this here. I had the vanilla/orange-just as a good as I remember. $ 4 for a cone… I don’t remember it being that much on the boardwalk, but then again it was almost 9 years ago, so maybe it is that much. Smooth, creamy and light at the same time.

I was in town during fantasy fest and walked by this cute little place during all the crazy madness. I was shocked when I saw frozen custard as I had never tried it but had heard a little bit about it once before. I’m a big froyo queen so I was expecting something similar boy was I wrong, it was a completely different texture. After three samples Iater I regretted sampling as I wasn’t pleased. Being the lady was so kind I got the pumpkin swirled with cinnamon anyway. Not bad just not my thing. Now I know :) cannot wait to go back to Key West though!

Always a great treat when visiting Key West. During the fall Kohr’s has pumpkin custard. It is absolutely the best Fluffy and full of pumpkin flavor. One year they had a pumpkin cinnamon blend. It was heavenly but the flavors are separate this year. The dietary info looks good too.

This was by far the best frozen custard I have ever had. Probably doesn’t say much that we don’t have frozen custard where I live, but I digress. This stuff was delicious and creamy. I didn’t find it was overpriced. And the girl at the counter was super sweet. I’ll be dreaming about this frozen custard until I return to Key West.

Creamier than normal? Yes. Worth walking an extra 0.5 mile like we did? NO. Was there an Asian girl? Yes. Was she smiling? Heck no! What an overhyped placed, and what a freakin’ let down!!! Makes me wonder how many of the reviews I read were genuine.

Cream-sickle So yummy. Just get the large. You’ll eat in all and still not feel guilty. Friendly staff too. Definitely have to get if you’re on Sucal street. No need to even dip it.

To see the biggest and best smile in Key West, swing by Kohr Bros any evening between Tuesday and Sunday. Sprinkles are $ 0.50 extra, and worth every penny!

Kids loved the mint chocolate twist«rolled» in chocolate sprinkles. How’d they do that? Must be lots of practice… they filled the cone high then rolled the entire twist in a bucket of sprinkles. Kids were amazed… made it taste that much better I’m sure ;) about $ 5 for a large cone. Easy to find, right on Duval. Perfect stop to keep the kids happy while Mom and Dad enjoy our stroll.

Well, I’ve had better custard(but, then again, that was a local joint in Buffalo NY, family owned, been around for years and frankly they kept the recipe locked up tight, so I don’t really expect any other place to top it) That being said, this place is pretty darn good! Nice flavor selection, pricing is decent and cone size is nice and big. Walk up window service, with a smile(if not, slightly overlay to happy… but that again, could just be the Asian girl who was selling the cones that day, they get all simile when they see money and all go into the register.) I’d def go there again!

I’m not big on eating sweets, but I loved the frozen vanilla custard so much that I had it twice while in Key West.

Very Very yummy custard, and it is open very late! This allowed us to make one last stop on our Duval Crawl for some more dessert! They do not have a huge variety of flavors, but you can dip any flavor in chocolate or in sprinkles. Peanut Butter custard dipped in Chocolate! Heaven…

I love their Chocolate/vanilla twist! I skip lunch just so I can enjoy the creamy goodness without feeling too guilty. Always a must stop when I’m in KW.

Open all night for your drunken cravings, with some of the best frozen custard I’ve ever had. Perfect stumbling distance from the bars, located on Duval street(helps ensure you don’t get lost), and pretty cheap. I went with a couple other people and tried the various flavors they offer. The peanut butter was instant win… I toyed with the thought of splitting it with chocolate, but decided to let that peanut buttery bliss speak for itself. Only negatives are no seating, and the server sort of rushed us, even though there was nobody behind us. Otherwise, this place is a quick favorite.

Oh my goodness it’s superbly delicious and from what they told me, it’s not artery clogging! So how can it taste good? I’m not sure what the Kohr Bros. know that most of us don’t but their frozen custard is phenomenal. I chose the daily special – Peanut Butter. It was better than any others I’ve tried, and I can say that I’ve been around the block when it comes to ice cream! Duval Street is fairly annoying to maneuver through, especially if you’re just going from ice cream. But if you are down there, save some room because you will be elated you did.
