Playable course in wonderful shape. Wide fairways with open greens and a good pace. You’ll enjoy playing here and hopefully you’ll also enjoy score. $ 185 green fees on a Thursday.

Great course and very challenging. Pro Tim McArthur gave me a few tips that vastly improved my game!

Probably the most enjoyable golf course I’ve ever played and I write this despite playing one of my worst rounds ever there. In fantastic shape with a couple holes on the water. The course is quite difficult, with many long holes and forced carries over hazards, but rewards good shotmaking with wide fairways and large greens. Food in the clubhouse was pretty good, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Love this Nicklaus course. 3 holes along the Ocean. Maybe my favorite course on Kiawah. Narrow so accurate tee shots are a must. Good for kids after 5, but you miss the back nine(and the ocean holes) as family tee time is only the front nine.

I have played Turtle Point a number of times and it ranks above Cougar and Oak Point, but below Osprey and The Ocean courses, basically sits right in the middle of the five companionship courses. Like all of the Kiawah courses, the wind does blow typically and can get upwards of 15MPH to 20MPH in wind speeds. Designed and built in 1981, the course architect is Jack Nicholas and plays 7054 yards from the back tees,(Gold) a course rating of 74.2 and a slope of 141. Five par fours play 420 yards or longer, the 412-yard 15th, is the middle hole of a tough three back to back to back oceanfront trio of holes. With the tiny greens tucked into the dunes, the three can be the hardest holes on the course, depending on, if the wind off the Atlantic Ocean is blowing hard to not.
