What a lovely space right next to the beach. Arlene is such a sweet and patient instructor. My body always thanks me after!

I’ve never taken any other Pilates classes but I doubt any could hold a candle to Arlene. My body has been transformed with just an hour a week! I feel better, am much more flexible and have more energy. It is amazing to me how she takes the considerations and nuances of each person into account for exercises. Don’t let your limitations stop you because she knows how to work around them(pregnancy, disabilities, weak/locked body parts). She is hugely conscious of your safety. I only wish I had started Pilates earlier with Arlene. Be stronger today; call Arlene!

I have been coming to Maui for the last seven years. In 2010 I was introduced to Pilates for the first time. I fell in love! It is the most glorious work out. My body feels limber and flexible and strong. It is a workout that feels like a funout! I never dreaded«having to go exercise.» Each time, I learned something new, and with the endless variety of things one can do on a Reformer, a Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and Chair… well, it was always a learning experience! I get bored with the same old, same old. I loved swiching from the use of one type of equipment to another, and seeing how quickly I progressed in a short amount of time. First of all, the studio is in a screened in lanai with a full on view of Charlie Young Beach and the Ocean. Pure heaven! The equipment is top notch. And the instructor and owner, Arlene Taos Salomon, is a dream come true. Her energy is infectious, and she is CONSTANTLY learning more, taking more lessons, and getting to be even more fabulous than she already is! She is SO good at explaining things. I took a few Pilates classes back in Boston, and they used terminology and descriptions that left me scratching my head and frustrated. Arlene is hands on. She can demonstrate, then do physical assists, and can talk you through an exercise and can visually show you what she wants with her hand motions. Everytime I go, I walk out like I’m on cloud 9. She has specials, where you can buy so many«squares» for a fixed amount. If you take a mat class, it is one square. A group reformer class it is 2 squares. A private lesson it is three. She also is a masseuse, so you can have a lovely, outdoor massage with the sound of birds chirping and waves crashing. Absolute heaven! I highly recommend checking it out if you spend any time in Maui. She is just amazing.
