I like this place. It’s cute and cozy. The cup sleeves have art on them instead of the boring brown. And they recycle their sleeves! Which I absolutely love. However, let me give a WARNING to any east coaster. If you’re looking for a bagel, this is not the place. It’s really just flavored toast in the shape of a bagel. NOT to say, though, that anything was bad. I had the pineapple ‘bagel’ with cinnamon honey butter and a chocolate macadamia nut coffee. Both were so yummy. Coffee was great! And the cinnamon honey butter is amazing! Just keep in mind that if you come here, you’re coming for a ‘toast’ breakfast or sandwich, not a bagel.

Good portions and very yummy and fresh panini. Friendly service. Great place to grab a sandwich before hitting the beach or going on a road trip. Breakfast sandwiches and all sorts of panini and coffee beverages — espresso, Americano, etc. Reasonably priced too. Can get expensive eating out in Maui so this is a nice find.

I love coming here and recommend it often. The food is fresh, delicious and the coffee is divine. I usually choose the Kalama on a Maui Onion Bagel and an iced coconut latte. Great atmosphere and the staff is lovely!

Friend and I had a lox bagel and some coffee. It is very close to where we were staying and there was no one around which was nice. Staff was friendly and courteous. Customizing our coffee went well and there was wifi during our wait. The food took forever. There was no one else in the place at the time, and 3 or 4 workers that were there talking at the front having a good time. Why the food took forever I’ll probably never know. The lox bagel has no cooked ingredients so really it is mostly just assembly. And unless the bagels are being toasted via magnifying glass, it shouldn’t have taken that long. I would love to rate it better since the people working were cool but more than 20 minutes of wait time without another soul to contend with for attention is inexcuseable. Bottom line: The coffee was long gone and I lamented its absence when I ate. Do try it though. Hopefully your experience is better than mine.

This is my go-to place to work because I’m in walking distance, but I would drive here for the food. Maui Melt and Le Gobble(turkey, stuffing, cranberry) panini’s are both amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Free wifi works well. Only wish is for power outlets. I have to leave when my laptop battery dies.

We went to Café @ La Plage twice while on vacation and definitely would have gone back if we had more time! Everything was delicious, the bagels are amazing and my boyfriend ordered the«Le Gobble» special and won’t stop talking about how good it was. I’d definitely recommend this spot!

Maui, Hawaii — Smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and soups are the specialty of this quaint find which tops each table with a plant potted in a coffee mug. Cute! My smoothie with dragonfruit, a recommended add-in by staff, was a fruity and refreshing enjoyment. I appreciated having it for our walk on the beach right across the street. My pea soup was nicely flavored and my side side was the perfect accompaniment.

I love how I can come in here during every visit and it’s like we never left. Great breakfast bagels and a kind staff. I really enjoy their Facebook snark, too. Actually, look around inside. They love the snark here, and it makes us feel at home. During this trip we tried their frozen blended mochas for the first time. The raspberry and white chocolate are to die for. We kept coming back for them. Over the period of a week we filled a punch card and a half. Don’t change a thing, «Frenchie». We love ya!

Absolutely a must visit. We found it on the last day of our stay at Maui. We are vegetarians, and we tried the first 2 paninis on the menu(one with basil, tomato, bell pepper and the other with pesto) both were great size and came with salads. Absolutely yummy, not to mention the prices were extremely reasonable. The café is awesome, has lots of interesting artifacts. the owner was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend it :)

Come here every time I’m on Maui. Their bagels are the best and the nice air conditioned dining room is really a nice place to take a break. The guys behind the counter are super nice and helpful. Prices are nice too.

Gotta love this place! Pricing not is cheap relatively to the entire island. Heck, this is the best you can get for the buck! Breakfast bagels are so tasty and the coffee is amazing. Get your breakfast to go and have it by the beach which is just by the store. Customer service is great and they’re so polite here. Great feeling of a family owned business which you rarely see In this area as it’s packed with restaurants who only care about overpricing. Definitely will be back here if I come back and recommend you to pay a visit if your craving a good breakfast!

This place is CUTE!!! I love all things French, so it wasn’t anything that had to twist my arm to like! They have these cute/cool vintage artifacts that are on sale, and I meant to go back to buy, but we never ended up there. The iced white chocolate mocha was DELISH.

Coffee is amazing… Spoiler alert. It i a must for a cup of coffee. We came here on our way upcountry. We were exited to see a huge selection of bagels and drinks. I ordered a black house coffee and an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. The coffee was absolutely fantastic. It had a floral bouquet and a slight citrus flavor. I always drink my coffee black and loved this particular grind. The bagel was toasted, but a bit dense. The jalapeño spread was pretty good. It had a bit of heat, but nowhere near enough to overpower the coffee. I would come back for the coffee, but chose another spot for a bagel. Maybe it was an off day. Damn good coffee though.

Went to this spot for breakfast — breakfast bagels and coffee, nothing fancy. It’s trending at 4.5 stars so expectations were. Well 4.5 Unilocal stars(whatever that means). The good: — friendly service early in the morning — quite a nice comfortable space(including a sofa) — laid back and chill the rest. Nothing ‘horrendously bad’ as such. But I’m flummoxed at a 4.5 star rating. What we got was a supermarket bagel(half toasted), some so-so egg(possibly real), slice of cheese, some semi ripe tomato(ok, imported, I get it we are in Hawaii) and a piece of lettuce(incidentally the upgrade to lettuce and tomato seemed to be $ 1.50 on the basic bagel. My bad for choosing it I guess). Coffee — not good. Which returns me to 4.5 stars. Is this almost the best that could possibly be on offer? Serious question. I haven’t been to the other options nearby so it could be stellar in comparison. I’m giving 3 stars. But that includes a bonus for some nice AC.

This place is a stellar lunch spot and has good parking too. I got the Mona Lisa Panini and I would for sure get it again. The house mayo is great! It came with a side salad which was nice cause a girl needs her greens :) My sweets and I also went for coffee one day and the gentleman at the counter saw me eyeballing the case filled with goodies. I was looking at all the yummy looking bagels. They usually do not sell single bagels since they only use them for breakfast sandwiches but he let us take home a couple. If you do want some bagels to take home you can call a couple days ahead and they will place an order for you with the bakery they use. I’m glad he was nice enough to let us try a couple cause I’m sure I will be placing an order soon. It’s pretty hard to find good bagels on Maui.

A little hard to find, located in Dolphin Plaza, but a nice little hide-away for a quick, inexpensive bagel sandwich. We ordered the«Little Beach» breakfast sandwich, which consists of scrambled egg, your choice of cheese & ham or bacon on your choice of bagel. The bagels were super soft & fresh, making us wonder if they made them in-house, they were that soft! The gentlemen were obviously French & quiet spoken & told us to have a seat & they brought our order out to us once it was ready.

Best iced coconut latte! In the past, I’ve been disappointed by coconut lattes when they turn out too sweet and watered down. In this case, you get a nice balance of coffee and coconut in your drink — best of both worlds! For those who don’t love coconut, they have a nice variety of syrups that you should check out! I haven’t tried their food but that’s a must or next time. The service was great and the barista was very helpful and friendly!
