Jack in the Box

Normally I don’t leave a review on a fast food place because after all, it is just fast food and you shouldn’t expect much. I personally didn’t have an issue with my food or service but I witnessed unprofessional issues with the employees while dining. A customer who came in to order after me was ignored for several minutes. Then one of the female workers said she would be with him shortly. After 5 minutes and she never came back he got upset and just left. The place was not that busy and I was only one of two customers inside the restaurant that morning. They seem more focused on the drive thru than the front counter. While I was eating in the dining room, I could hear the workers, all female, yelling and arguing with each other and using profanity. They were also complaining about customers in the drive thru line and using profanity.
The franchise owner and Store Manager is obviously not paying much attention to the operation of this restaurant or worse, is tolerant of the behavior. The staff is not happy to work there and their behavior is very unprofessional. I would not tolerate this if I was in charge. The closer on the front door is also broken and it slams shut. Spend a little money and get it fixed Mr. or Ms. Owner. Fix your employees first please!

Von vorne herein, diese Bewertung stammt daher, dass wir gerade davor in einem anderen Jack in the Box gegessen hatten und das Essen so super war, dass wir auch auf Maui wieder dort essen wollten, leider wurden wir herbe enttäuscht. Die Burger waren lauwarm, obwohl es die Besonderheit bei Jack sein sollte, erst zuzubereiten, wenn bestellt wird und das das Essen heiß ist. Die Burger waren nicht saftig. So eine Enttäuschung, da kann ich auch bei MC Donalds essen, und selbst die bekommen es manchmal saftiger hin. So schade.

Slowest cooks and cashiers and they still make mistakes, i ordered a breakfast sandwich with no cheese and what do i get… Yep a cheese breakfast sandwich. I am so annoyed, never coming back!

I go quite a bit just because I like their late night tacos. But the rest of the food is inconsistent. They run out of things too often and their Diet Coke mix is just bad. Staff is nice and friendly. But not one of the better fast food operations out there. They can do better.

Spam Jr. Teriyaki Burger? I gotta admit, I was raised on Spam so I was sort of tempted because we definitely don’t have that on the mainland. I passed.
We went in here because my grandmother needed to use the restroom. However, it was only for customers so I had to go back and get my wallet. I ordered an Oreo Shake ($ 3.99) and I should have made my grandmother use the Filipino card with the cashier because she really helped getting the key and letting her and my father into the restroom. Oh well, I enjoyed the shake. I haven’t had one in 4 months.

Stopped here for breakfast, tired of mcdonald’s… I wish I would have found this the first morning of our vacation instead of the last. Great service and hands down better than mcdonald’s… would definitely recommend this jack in the box

We stopped by on the way to our hotel at lunchtime and we noticed the front door was propped open with a chair. We knew the air conditioning was broken or turned off and it was really hot inside. I don’t know how the cooks could work without air. After ordering, I went to the ladies restroom. It was filthy! When we finally got our food (to go since it was so hot inside), they didn’t get part of the order correct. We left with the incorrect food and drove away. The food was fine so the worst part of the experience was left behind.

The worst jack in the box I’ve ever had in my life. Out of sourdough, burger tasted old, curly fries were stale, taco had the smallest amount of OLD lettuce stuffed inside. Did not pack us any ketchup, taco sauce, or napkins. Came back to Kihue from a long night of drinking and it still tasted nasty. I couldn’t believe how bad it was. For being the only jack in the box I saw, I figured they would be on their game. I worked for jack in the box as my first job and we always made it to order. I don’t know what was going on with this one. We came about 11pm last Tuesday. What a disappointment! Step your game up guys!

Meh. My man could eat here daily, I would rather leave it than take it but every once in awhile it’s ok. Convenience, hours & the fact they serve breakfast any time are good. The people working at this one are very friendly, so that’s a plus. Whenever I’ve gotten any type of sandwich from here, the last several bites are an inedible soggy mess. I opt for the chicken teriyaki bowl (sometimes they’re out of rice and you have to pick something else) or croissant with egg & cheese. Many years ago I smelled J&B burger meat and it was foul. haven’t been able to order a burger from here since, except once I had their sirloin burger which was pretty good, but all soggy towards the end.

Thank goodness this place is here. Where else you gonna eat at 2am? I was staying in Wailea at the hotels and wanted a late night bite. I used my Unilocal app (like all amazing elites! lol) and found this place. My friends and I hopped in the car, picked up some grub, and dined at the beach. The service was fast and the food was the same as all the other locations.

Food is average here. Maybe a bit better than average on a good day. I guess between this place and McDonald’s next door I’d come here, but the access/​parking is bad and has a very cramped feel to it. Loud b/​c it’s right next to South Kihei Road.
It’s worth a try, at least.

Ok I’ve read the negative post.
For a quick early breakfast before heading out to the Hana rd or to the top of volcano to watch the sunrise it’s perfect. We stopped in 3 different times once a 7:00am to grab a drink a bathroom break. It had the cleanest bathrooms in Kihei or any part of Maui that wasn’t a resort. The other times were 5:30 & 3:30am the drive-​thru was open and the workers were super nice food was good.

People hate, but I love JITB.
The burgers are above average, way better than your other fast food options, save maybe Burger King’s whopper.
You know if you’re ordering JITB, your stomach’s going to rebel for a few hours. But you do it anyway. Because it calls you, like Maui does when you haven’t visited in a few years.
So forget the hating, just know, Jack, you’re Ono!

just like all the other jack in the boxes the food was okay. got 2 burgers on the value menu but was still a little hungry. The dollar burgers were more than a dollar though. Went here after watching a show and sansei closed cause it was 11:30pm.

Stick to what you know…
Like McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Denny’s… etc…
I tried to warn my husband not to stop here but he insisted. The food TASTES great, but trust me, it doesn’t matter what you order on the menu… you’ll pay for it later. So a good word of advice would be, «Don’t get it to go and then try to make your way to Hana!» lmao
My husband paid for it ALL the way to Hana… and there aren’t very many rest stops on the way to Hana. =) We had a good laugh about it later though.

I was forced to come here last night. I normally tend to not eat fast food but after leaving moose’s drunk my friend had 2 stop. They didn’t even get the order right after finally finding something on menu that sounded good, then to get home and have it just be a plain over cooked luke warm boring burger was disappointing… When it was a chicken sandwich that I ordered… My friends food was just luke warm and yucky also… First and last time I will ever come here…
