Good almost fast food fish restaurant up the road from where we were staying. When looking this place up, I noticed they had a location near my house in Texas, but I have failed to try it here. We decided to give it a try and it hit the spot for a quick lunch option. I tried Ono for the first time, and found that I did not like the toughness, not their fault. The sauce they topped on it was good, helped me get through the meal. My fiancée had the fish taco which were good and tasty with plenty of garnish to add flavors with the Mahi. Of course we try the coconut shrimp, which were nice and crispy with coconut flake flavor. Overall not too bad and now I have to try the one in town to remind me of a little piece of Hawaiian paradise.

I don’t normally leave reviews but after my visit here, I had to write something. This was my first visit to Maui and after a long day of zip lining and driving around the mountain, I was looking for something good to eat but simple and quick. I saw good reviews about the fish tacos here so figured I would try them out. I call in to order 6 tacos and a order of coconut shrimp. The guy taking my order on the phone asked if there was anything else I would like, I say no he tells me it will be ready in 10 minutes. I show up about 15 minutes later and was greeted by a nice guy who took my payment and told me it was $ 95 while he was swiping my card… I asked how much the tacos were and he said 6 orders of tacos was almost $ 80 on its own. I apologized and told him I only wanted 6 total tacos and he apologized for the inconvenience and grabbed his manager BRIAN to void and fix the order. Brian walks over and starts punching at the screen with unnecessary frustration(so I thought) so I figured I would apologize again and I get a reply of «yep», there is about a minute of awkward silence and then Brian breaks the silence by telling me with a straight face that there are 2 tacos per order… Ok that’s cool but I didn’t order 6ORDERS of tacos, I ordered 6TACOS. This is my first trip to one of these locations and the food is pretty good, however I shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience to the manager when I spend over $ 50 on food and are only in your store for no more than 5 minutes. I am a manager of a million dollar retail location and the customer is not always right but when it’s obvious that your employee didn’t clarify the call in order, that’s a coaching opportunity for your employee and the customer shouldn’t be in an awkward position while the manager gets off of his laptop to resolve an issue(part of the managers job duty anyways). I should have got the name of the of the person who assisted me first because he was nothing but nice and apologetic throughout the entire interaction, but if Brian wants to have a pissy attitude in his own restaurant, then I feel bad for his employees because it’s never fun having to make up for the attitude your manager gives to your customers. Without the interaction with Brian, I would have given a for sure 4 star maybe even 5.

Awesome Place. Staff so friendly and helpful. Manager, I think, was very social, checked on us at our table and seemed genuinely pleased to be at work and serving people food. He made the experience great. Kid had hot dog and fries, fries seasoned well. Wife had grilled mahi over brown rice. Fished was cooked perfectly and had excellent grilled taste. I had fish tacos. I was leery of the price for two fish tacos, I think it was 12 or 13 bucks. The portion was good, but you don’t get any sides with it. They pride themselves on 17 ingredients in the fish taco, they could make due with a few less. They are almost impossible to eat without a fork. However the star of the dish, the fish, was amazing. Great texture, no fishy taste, and not battered. Would come back again and get the same thing, not cheap but very good.

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The best fish tacos I’ve ever had in my life!!! Their coconut shrimp is to die for! Out of 7 days of our vacation, we ate here four times!!! Casual cool spot – perfect for those craving fish tacos and a café with incredibly friendly service. What I ordered and recommend — Coconut Shrimp appetizer(6 per order) is served with thai chili pineapple sauce and is solid. It’s perfectly crusted and crispy and has a wonderful coconut flavor. — Fish Tacos(2) served with white corn tortillas, slaw, tomatoes, cheese, and mango salsa(this is what makes the dish!). It has great flavor, but the fish was a bit dry. I think they use mahi mahi, which is naturally a leaner fish and is usually dry anyway. The mango salsa and crunchiness of the grilled tortillas makes up for it! We dined in and chatted with the locals who were chatty and gave us recommendations of places to visit and try around the island! I truly felt the aloha spirit here~

First time at coconuts and it was really good! Definitely seems more of a local restaurant but is now completely overrun with tourists. I think the price point could be better because it was $ 12 for two tacos which just seems like a lot for tacos but everything in Maui is over priced. Tacos were delish but the flavors of the sauces overtook the flavor of the fish. Coconut shrimp was decent. We tried it for the help coupon but I would not get it again for $ 10. The Ahi salad was also very tasty but at $ 17 it is too pricey for a small fast food place. Service was very good. Might come back again. Definitely would not go to the locations in the States.

First time at Coconuts, based on reviews from fellow Unilocalers. Our experience was great and lived up to our expectations. My wife ordered fish tacos and I ordered fish and chips. I love coconut shrimp, so I ordered that too! The staff is very friendly, and when our food was delivered, she explained details about our order. My fish and chips, had Ono on top, and Mahi Mahi on bottom. We immediately realized we ordered too much food as it was late when we arrived. The fish tacos came with two taco’s, and we could have each had one and left satisfied. My fish and chips were great, but honestly, after trying the fish taco’s, I would have rather ordered that… Or just had one of my wife’s and ate the shrimp Great place located in the Azeka Marketplace. The reviews speak for themselves.

I loved this place! I had the Mahi-mahi burger which was wonderful! I don’t like coleslaw but I absolutely loved it on this burger. Another night we came I had the fish and chips and they were great too but the burger was the best. My husband wasn’t a crazy fan like me. The first night he tried the fish tacos. I don’t think it was quite what he expected, being he’s from south Texas. The 2nd night he tried the seafood pasta, which he said was just ok. I was sad to hear that they use to have a Dallas location that had to close. After looking it up, it was only 3 blocks from our house! :(Disappointed I didn’t find it before closing. The manager did tell me there’s a location in Plano! Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try it soon and it will fill my mahi-mahi burger void!

Ordered the fish tacos because it looked like it was the thing to do. Also took advantage of the Unilocal check-in discount and ordered the coconut shrimp as well. Based on previous reviews, I think people rave about the fish tacos. They were good. But I liked the coconut shrimp more! Really good fry and sweetness. The tacos were yummy too but oh so messy! The place looked packed but tables turn quickly and it’s a nice buzzy atmosphere.

Ok so I hate to be the party-crasher here, but I just didn’t the fish tacos were as amazing as some of the previous reviewers said(my husband agreed so I wasn’t just me). Were they good? Absolutely? Were they something I would dream about and declare as the best meal on the island? Eh… not so much. Don’t get me wrong here — the tacos are great. Fresh, flavorful, and huge. I probably would’ve been fine with just one. The place is casual with super friendly service and a great vibe. I definitely would recommend it for a solid low-key dinner while in Maui. I just can’t say it was the most amazing meal I had while I was in Maui. Some of the other menu items that we saw looked great as well so don’t feel like you have to get the tacos!

Fish was nice, fresh, well cooked, and delicious! The slaw was killer!!! This place is in a strip mall but has a about 6 – 7 large tables with lots of room to share. I would definitely hit this place up for some lunch or even a chill dinner. Fish tacos are mixed with 1 ahi and 1 opa which was the same for the fish and chips. –1 star for being out of Poke at like 2pm. Sad but I wanted this!

We just arrived to Maui and on our way to our hotel, we needed to get food in our tummy asap. I found this restaurant on Unilocal and luckily, there was no line. I ordered the Mahi tacos recommended by the cashier and hubby ordered the Steak tacos. I really wish I just shared with the hubby because I only ate one of my tacos. Hubby enjoyed his tacos, but I thought the Mahi tacos just had too much going on. It tasted like a Mahi cole slaw salad. Total of our bill: 4 tacos = $ 30

Some of our friends back home recommended this place to us for fish tacos. I do love them fish tacos! So guess what I ordered? Yes, fish tacos. Their fish taco order comes with 2. Yes, 2 tacos piled high with fresh and tasty ingredients. It was overwhelming and I didn’t know where to begin. The fish was cooked well and well seasoned. The mangoes were fresh. Just yum! Hubs got a fish plate which was good too. They know how to make fish tasty here. Bonus, they were coming to Sacramento soon so I can have these delicious tacos back home! Yay! Check in on Unilocal to get a discount on their coconut shrimp! Made with real coconut shavings and fried extra crispy.

This place was suggested to us by the Enterprise shuttle driver for the fish tacos. These tacos are VERY tasty, but other than the tacos, there isn’t much that would make me go back to this place. The line is long, there isn’t much seating, and the staff is okay but nothing to write home about. Honestly, the other suggestion(Nalu’s across the street) made by our driver was the hit. I’d definitely suggest that place over Coconuts if you were only in the area for one meal. You can thank me later. OH — other tip: You can get one order of fish tacos for two people. It comes w/two HUGE tacos… one is definitely enough if you are a girl. :)

This review is best summed up in a few words — for the love of God, get the fish tacos!!! Having grown up in LA and gone to school in San Diego, I’ve had my fair share of tacos, and these were the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Fish tacos(5⁄5): One order comes with two generously sized tacos. According to the waiter, the tacos are made with 17 ingredients; I managed to come up six(mahi-mahi, ono, cabbage, mango, white sauce, tortilla) before giving up and just digging in. These were amazing — the mango salsa complements the fish perfectly, and I liked how the taco isn’t so drenched in sauce(like at other places) that you can’t taste the fish. The taco comes with chunks of mahi-mahi and ono, and I like how the fish is grilled instead of fried. Most fish tacos use breaded and fried fish, which I feel is just a lazy way of disguising the taste of lower-quality fish. Because the fish here is grilled, the quality and taste of the fish really shine through and are better able to soak up the other flavors(15 others!) better. Even my husband, who normally prefers the simplicity of a simple street taco with just meat and tortilla, loved these. My biggest regret is coming here while pregnant(and thus limiting my seafood intake due to mercury concerns) … My husband allowed me to eat roughly half a taco before taking it away from me by force. If you’re at all a fan of fish tacos, do yourself a favor and order these! Then, enjoy them on my behalf. ;)

Probably one of the most hot spots to eat when in Kihei. It definitely draws in a lot of tourists. Sometimes the wait is out the door. Every time we drove past this particular shopping center, we always checked the line first. One evening there were only a few in line(but tables were still packed), so we ordered and opted to take it back to our condo. The fish tacos(2 per order) were humongous and very fresh tasting. All the other stuff on the tacos were a bit much, but it worked. Flavor wise, I can’t say that I am crazy about it. *****Yelp 2016100 Challenge***** 23⁄100

This is just for the fish tacos: Yes, they’re huge. Yup, they have lots of ingredients. And yeah theres a huge line out the door during busy times, plus a longer wait to get the tacos served. So what’s so good about them? Probably the size impresses people the most. They’re large, two per order, and they span about 5 inches across and maybe 3 inches high of ingredients. Yup, lots of those. There’s two tortillas to hold up this puppy, fish, spices, mango salsa, and cabbage slaw covered in a creamy-horse radish dressing. Did it all work? Sure. But definitely not the best I’ve ever tried … The fish was overwhelmed by the horseradish flavor for Me, then the sweetness of the mango salsa. The fish was almost outdone in flavor by the simple tortilla, which doesn’t say much for the fish itself. What I can say is that it needed acid to cut through the other flavors, so lemon was a welcome addition. A vinegar — sweet slaw would have excelled at enhancing the fish. And alas, no spice to the taco left this void open to a few bottled salsa picantes available near the counter. Granted I didn’t add on the south of the border sauce, nor did I try much else here. Not the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, but it was satisfying. I wasn’t disappointed really, but man these have potential. But, this place is wildly successful with tourists so, I don’t think they need potential…

The reviews on this place are amazing, so we tried it. I was honestly let down a bit for a 4 ½ star rating. The food was okay. I got the fish tacos, which were supposed to be amazing. They were just okay. I know it’s odd to complain about them being overly full, but I couldn’t even fold the tortilla and make a taco out of it. When I tried everything just fell out. The ahi appetizer was okay. I believe it was pre seared and then refrigerated. It didn’t seem like it was cooked to order. The poke was just okay, as well. My sister had the pasta, she said it was decent, a 3.4 at best in her book. Maybe it just wasn’t our cup of tea, but we have had better tacos on Maui. It was also VERY pricey for what it is. I will say their customer service was amazing. The whole staff there was super friendly.

With this many reviews and high rating, I definitely had high hopes. This was our first meal right out of the airport to our hotel. There was a line and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat so not too bad. Once I ordered our dishes — coconut shrimp, fish tacos, and kids fish and chips — we waited another 15 – 20 minutes. So although it was busy the turnover was quite brisk. The coconut shrimp was quite good made with plump shrimp and crispy coconut coating. To top it off, the Unilocal checkin gave us $ 2 off! I liked that more than the famous fish tacos. The fish tacos, touted to have so many great ingredients, had too much ingredients other than fish. The few pieces of fish were hidden underneath a pile of stuff. Maybe I would’ve liked it better if they renamed it to the«17 ingredients» taco because the fish certainly was not the star of the dish. I felt kind of mislead. My ahi burger was not grilled high enough temperature leaving a barely cooked outer rim and somewhat mushy center. The wasabi they put on was pure wasabi so I needed to temper it with some mayo. Overall, just an overhyped place. Come here if you want to experience the overhype but go elsewhere for the fish tacos.

Awesome fish tacos and poke bowl. There’s a reason this laid-back little joint has such a following. Nice outdoor seating, friendly service, and of course, great food. Lots to choose from, though we went with the most popular. Definitely worth the 10 – 15 min wait.

I’ll add my raves to Coconuts along with all the others. My wife and I both had fish sandwiches, she the Ono and Mahi Mahi for me. The were both delicious, the fish perfectly flavored and cooked. The sandwiches are a bit messy so grab some extra napkins if that’s what you order. Definitely plan on going back to try the tacos. We’ve only been on Maui a couple of days but have already had at least three people we’ve met in our travels say, «make sure you go to Coconuts.» The locals and guidebooks agree, this place is a winner!

Delicious! I first noticed this place while on a walk for groceries — the buzz outside is great advertising for the business. Hands down best fish tacos I’ve ever had! Typical service you would expect for a fast food establishment — they give you a number and bring it to your table. Everyone who works there seems friendly and happy. Looked around and it was mostly other tourists there. Glad we stopped by.

Okay fish tacos, served gringo-style with melted cheese, mango salsa, and some slaw. The food runner emphasized that you should eat them with your hands, but it was impossible. A total mess. Big portions though! The fish and chips also seemed alright, but not as impressive as the tacos.

This place is a must when in Maui! Don’t expect to be eating right on the beach, they’re located within a plaza near the beach but fortunately there’s a ton of parking. We tried the fish tacos and coconut shrimp and both did not disappoint. The fish tacos are huge, so consider splitting the order with your partner(1 each). They’re saucy and messy but absolutely delicious, especially loaded with fish and with the mango on top! During our visit, the owner came out and asked how our food was. He explained how they ensure the food is cooked clean and healthy, which you can taste for sure. He went around and asked 1 – 2 more tables about their food which was great to see — true pride in his establishment. The place itself is spacious and very clean, you might end up sharing your table with other parties but on a nice day, you can also eat outside with the roaming chickens. Bonus: the owner told us they’re opening up a store in the bay area. Hope it’s just as good!

Came to maui for the first time and searching for amazing fish taco place, we came across this place. When we got to this place around lunch time, there was already a line out the door(unbelievable). Me and my husband both got fish tacos(comes a pair in each order) and each fish taco is supposed to be prepared with 17 different ingredients! Which we thought was pretty impressive! The fish tacos were great. Are they best fish tacos in town/country or whatever? I don’t think so. overall I think I would try this place if I’m around the area but wouldn’t go out of my way for it again

My husband and I came in here for some takeout. He ordered the tacos(of course!) and I ordered an ono salad. Our cashier was super friendly and quite ready to answer any of my questions. The food took a while, but that’s ok since the ambiance was laid back and comfortable. I loved the surfboard tables! My ono salad was pretty good. The ono itself was VERY tender and juicy. I ate every last piece. The salad part was pretty boring as all it had was chopped lettuce without enough dressing(maybe I should have ordered it on the side?). His fish tacos were pretty darn good too. Without their spicy dressing though, I couldn’t have said they were pretty than any other place’s, But inside the fish, veggies, and fixings were fresh. While we weren’t blown away by the food, it was good. Perhaps our hopes were high with all of their magazine/newspaper clippings touting how awesome the tacos are. Maybe we’ll try them next time and see how it goes that time around.

Fish Tacos — not gonna lie, it was pretty gringo. i’m used to more authentic tacos being from cali, but this was still a good taco, just with less flavor than what i’m used to. at least the mango salsa added some novelty to the dish Coconut Shrimp — your standard coconut shrimp, but you get a discount when you check in on Unilocal!pretty satisfying appetizer i must say the atmosphere is pretty cute: the tables are like surfboards, and all the tables were well cleaned. can’t say this place was great, but it’s definitely a safe choice if you want something decent

An impressively popular spot, with lines out the door, people packed around tables on the sidewalk, and more people hovering over them waiting for tables to free up. Unnaturally enthusiastic waitstaff approach you in line to promise you that the food is so good it’s worth the wait. The food is decent. Poke was nice but only average by the high standards of Maui. Coconut shrimp were crunchy and large, but the batter was too sweet, and the red-orange dipping sauce that came with them(which an unnaturally enthusiastic waitress raved over) was even sweeter. They were better doused in hot sauce. The supposedly famous fish tacos(more unnaturally enthusiastic raving) were fine, but I didn’t love the treatment of the mahi mahi and the main innovative ingredient was a huge handful of chopped mango, which is also(you guessed it!) sweet. It’s impressive how much they can do with this tiny kitchen, and the staff is obviously working hard, from the culinary sweat in the back of the house to the emotional labor in the front of the house. But the food is not worth the wait.

While I’m a picky person in general, I am especially picky when it comes to fried foods. I try to avoid them as much as possible because I watch my weight and if I’m going to indulge, it better be good enough to justify the outcome(weight gain). I am particularly picky when it comes to how crispy the fried food is… but at the same time, I don’t particularly enjoy the use/reuse of cheap oil(e.g. say KFC, Popeye’s etc.). Cheaper oils at cheaper restaurants give off a nasty aftertaste. This makes it really difficult to find a combination that works for me because there is usually a trade-off: crispiness goes with oils higher in saturated fats, but using oils with high saturated fat content gives it a nasty aftertaste… hmm…a dilemma indeed. Coconuts café arguably has the best fried shrimp I have tasted(with the exception of fried shrimp at top end Japanese restaurants in Japan that cost $ 30/piece but I don’t think that’s a fair comparison). I have no idea what they have used for their oil, but it isn’t repulsive(gives an olive oil like taste) but it’s very clear that they cannot get this crispiness with your canola, olive, and your standard fare frying oil used at restaurants. I absolutely love it. The shrimp is moist inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. I’d be hard pressed to believe you can find a restaurant that can make this better than Coconuts Fish Café. My only gripe(which is entirely my fault) is for not using the $ 2 off Unilocal-check in offer for the shrimp. The two other dishes that I sampled are the seared ahi tuna and the fish tacos. We received multiple thick slices of the ahi tuna sampling and it was a bargain compared to any ahi tuna dish that we purchased so far in Maui. The wasabi mayo and the soy sauce complemented the tuna. While it was a compelling bargain, you can only go so far with the tuna when you are charging $ 12. For charging this amount, I don’t think they could have executed this dish any better for what it is. The last dish was the fish tacos and I have mixed feelings about this. The fish was cooked extremely well, but the seasoning was slightly lacking and the mango salsa was not as flavorful as other establishments I tried in this area. In my opinion, the fish tacos were slightly above average and I do not feel compelled to say this is a must-go-to place for fish tacos in Maui. In sum, I was a bit wishy washy for my ratings, but given that the coconut shrimp is the best shrimp dish(in the less than $ 30 price range) I’ve tried outside of Japan, I think this restaurant deserves a 5*. Do not hesitate to order the shrimp. It’s mindblowingly awesome.

We came here after taking family portraits. Since we were staying in West Maui, if there was one dinner we were going to do in South Maui, Coconuts it was. We ordered the fish tacos, seafood pasta, chicken pasta, ahi tuna salad, coconut shrimp, and clam chowder. My mom is the pickiest eater I know. She couldn’t stop talking about how good the pasta was! Amazing! I really enjoyed my fish taco’s and the coconut shrimp. The service was outstanding. My Mom mentioned that she couldn’t have cheese on her pasta, so for her bread dish they gave it to her with olive oil. You can’t go wrong with Coconuts as many of the other reviewers have said. If you are in a hurry, I recommend placing your order over the phone for pickup as this is a crowded restaurant. Open a restaurant in SF please!

When my husband and I found ourselves hungry one lazy night of our trip Coconuts came to mind. I had read the good reviews and it sounded right up our alley. I was shocked to arrive and find the line out the door at a time I considered late. Coconuts is cute and has fun beachy décor. The have communal seating so that kinda helps with the crowd factor. I do have to say some people can be so rude trying to ignore others looking for seats and taking up whole tables, come on guys lets share the aloha! The line ended up moving fast, however a casualty of being late is that they were out of my husbands first choice which was the mac mahi. He ended up getting mahi on rice and I can tend to be quick picky with fish so I played it safe and got the chicken on rice. WRONG, total mistake! Its not that the chicken was not good its just that the fish was so great! I ended up eating half my husbands plate and will never get anything but fish here again! Everything was great but I could do with out the little sad burger fixings I would much rather have a tiny side salad. Oh and we would definitely come earlier next time!

The fam bam and I came to Coconuts Fish Café on a Wednesday afternoon on our way back from Big Beach at Makena. I was excited to try the place because of all the great Unilocal reviews, and they actually had a vegetarian option or two. I was surprised to see that at almost 2:00pm that the place was packed! We initially grabbed a table outside, but then were able to move inside. They do turn tables quickly as the line to order backs up towards the front door! I ordered the Vegetarian Tacos which instead of chopped veggies, was a chopped veggie burger on top of two tortillas with slaw, mango, tomatoes and spicy chipotle sauce on the side. They came in a set of two and I was stuffed after one! They serve each taco individually to speed up service. The veggie burger inside makes it super filling and the chipotle sauce had great flavor, but was super spicy! Use sparingly. My Husband had the Fish Tacos which he thought were great. The fish was super fresh and he couldn’t even finish all of his either! The tacos look small, but are very filling. My Stepson ordered the Fish and Chips Basket which came with two large battered pieces of fish, and a ton of french fries. He finished most of his, but not the whole thing. He said his tasted good and were nice and fresh as well. We must not have been very hungry! Service was attentive and fast, and parking was easy(finally!) because it is located in a small shopping center that wasn’t very busy when we went. I may come back again when in Maui, the tacos were good, but nothing life changing or special. Good food none the less.

1964 reviews for this place. Sign says 1 million served. McDonalds hamburgers 1955? My co-worker Meredith in CA said I had to try this place out. My wife and I are arriving in Kihei straight from the airport and Costco, and make a detour to northern Kihei, 3 miles and 20+ stop signs and traffic lights from our condominium at Maui Kamaole in south Kihei. Coconuts Fish Café is located in a shopping center on the northern section of Kihei, far from where we are staying. Next door is a 1950s joint, Peggy Sue’s, just like in the South Bay. We are here for the world famous fish tacos, rated number 1 in Zagat, and top restaurant in Maui in Tripadvisor and Unilocal.Does it meet the hype? Hole in the wall café, with hard bench seating, resembling oars on a boat. Tables and benches polished and varnished super smooth. Clean but austere. Probably not a place for a first date, nor even for a big meal. 3pm in the afternoon on a weekday, and the place is practically empty –an auspicious beginning to the world’s best taco joint. Order and pay at the window, $ 11.95 for two fish tacos, and wait for your food to come. Service is good, and the waiters friendly. Atmosphere is typical for a fast food joint, with so so ambiance. The tacos arrive, one for me and one for the wife, as a light lunch before dinner. Corn tortilla, coleslaw, tomatoes and ‘famous’ mango salsa covering a sizeable portion of white battered fish. One bite and I’m in fish heaven. Incredible! Amazing! Absolutely the best and tastiest fish taco I have ever tasted! A culinary delight! The white fish is fresh and tasty and is enhanced with the crunchiness of the coleslaw and the sweet fruit flavor of the mango salsa. The place lives up to the hype. I would come again if it were closer to my condo. Put’s to shame Rubio’s Southern California fish taco with cabbage and white sauce! Now if only they had a Coconuts Fish Café in the Bay Area! 1 million and 2 tacos served!

I have to be honest. This place, by far, has the best fish tacos I’ve tried. To this day, I still dream about them! We went to this place on our last night in Maui. We wanted to eat somewhere good but not super expensive. When we walked in here, the place was packed. And because it was my last night in Hawaii, I wanted to make it count by ordering three different things. Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi — This was really one of my favorites here. It came with a side of coleslaw and brown rice. The flavor was super yummy! I love the crunch that the macadamia provided to the fish. Clam Chowder — Really good! This might was as good as the one I’ve had in Seattle. This one is a really popular item here that the night we ordered it, we got the last one for the night. It was totally worth it to try. Ahi Tuna Burger — I think this might have taken me by surprise. They asked if I wanted wasabi on it and I was like, «Sure.» I didn’t know that they would put pure wasabi in there like ketchup. I could not even eat this one. Every bite was painful. This got returned to the kitchen never to be seen of again. The manager was super nice about it and gave us a refund. Fish Tacos — We saved the best for last. I cannot explain why this taco was good. It must be because the fish was fresh and the ingredients that they used for the sauce blended so well together. I cannot stop eating this one. Overall, I love this place for its great food and good service.
