Perfect cup of coffee any time of day Great location at Azeka mall in Kihei. They serve local coffee blends and it just feels like home. Great atmosphere. You could sit in or out. Great place to hang out

Came here 2x so far. My iced mocha was okay. My dad had a blended banana mocha drink which he said was excellent. Wish that the small medium & large cups were each a few ounces larger. Visiting Maui for a couple weeks, may come again. LOVE the relaxed atmosphere.

I frequent this café often even though I don’t find some of the ppl taking my order to be very friendly. I like to get a coffee drink after lunch but their Americanos are consistently bitter(from letting the shot sit too long before pouring it in) and their chai is made with syrup flavoring which means its not real chai and there is no caffeine in it. Sometimes the paninis dont look appetizing and since some of the staff are not friendly i dont feel like eating here. I would never recommend this place to someone who really likes coffee unless they just want a sugary drink. But I gave it 2 stars anyway, bc relative to what you can expect from kihei it’s ok.

Needing early morning coffee at a location near our condo we came upon Java Café. The atmosphere is very typical of a coffee shop. It didn’t feel overly inviting. Our first trip we ordered 3 mexilatte’s and 1 vanilla latte. I have to say that is took what seemed like eternity to get our coffee’s. I had the vanilla latte and it was good. The next stop we ordered 4 mexilatte’s and it took just as long to get our coffee’s. The mexilatte’s are yummy and definitely gave a Mexican chocolate kick. I enjoyed it more then the vanilla latte. The service was okay. The staff did not seem overly friendly and it definitely took way longer then it needed to to get some coffee. I would go back for the mexilatte — even knowing that it was going to take some time to get my drink.

November 19, 2015 Thursday — 6:15AM for dinner 4 adults Atmosphere — 4 star Food — 4 stars Service — 3 stars Background — Early morning and need so go juice. Atmosphere — Their setup in the place is pretty strange. It could be setup better. But I got my coffee. Two different entrances and the odd shape all contribute to that funky feel. Food — I had the Mexilatte, give me some chocolate and coffee all at once! Service — They talk to too much behind the counter with each other. Future — Yes because the coffee is good.

Im not one to speak poorly about any business however, I feel bad for any girl who works here. Walked in to look for a place to sit and study, but nothing was available. So I decided to go to a different coffee house. As I was walking out, I overheard one of the employees tell another employee, «Oh good, someone smart is working tonight!» This is not the first time I have heard condescending remarks about employees by employees. Don’t want to support a business who disrespects there other coworkers.

Great coffee, great prices, great food! This was an awesome place for me this summer as i had to do online finals and needed wifi. Everyday i would come in and get something different(I have found the toddy coffee and the everything bagel are my favorites!) and they had plenty of tables so i could get my work done without a problem. Even after finals are over, I still go back when i want a good coffee. Great place!

My husband and I spent much of our time here planning our wedding– the staff were great and accommodating, the atmosphere was great with A/C and a great selection for lunch. The coffee was good, I prefer to get tea here tho. It’s a great place to study and grab a lunch or drink with friends for a relaxed visit.

One of my normal stops for a few years now. Way better then starbucks. This place has more of a mom and pop shop feel. Foods way better then most of the coffee shops too.

Enjoyed all the local art while sipping on a very tasty mango peach smoothie. Reminds me of chilling at Starbucks(including Starbucks prices and music) but with island flare. Books and toys available for relaxing and entertaining the kiddos.

The muffins are costco. The radio is a top play list, the local customer(s), opening complain about tourists. Kona bean coffee is mainland priced! That written; every person behind the counter can pull a perfect latte. Want a latter that is smother than velvet, come here. Want burnt sugar bombs, head to Starbucks. They even pull actual caps!

Great coffee and lattes(they also have almond milk for us dairy intolerant) and on the go breakfast or dine in menu. Very refreshing prices for breakfast menu items especially considering its Maui. Only 4.75 for my yummy breakfast wrap with salsa. They also sell a Great lilikoi bread. Friendly service but sometimes slow. My husband recommends the sunrise pizza for breakfast which is 7.99. They also have waffles and other breakfast sandwiches and breakfast Tacos. Not too crowded on weekday mornings either.

Really friendly service, just moved to Kihei and missing my Pacific Northwest coffee shops! This is a nice local flavor of the town, and I really enjoy just hanging out and doing work in here!

I have to preface my remarks by saying that I am not a coffee connoisseur. I received a $ 50 gift certificate so I thought I might as well give it a try. I thoroughly enjoyed the Thai Mocha Café, but the eggplant panini was rather dismal. So, bottom line, come for the coffee, not the food.

I have never been inside this café when they weren’t playing all of Coldplay’s albums on loop. With spotify commercials. I wish I was kidding. Food decent. Shakes are from concentrate. Best wifi/AC in kihei.

Aw man, I hate writing 1– and 2-star reviews, especially when the staff are so friendly! But, well… the coffee sucked. It tasted a bit watered down and lacked the aroma, boldness and flavor that I love about coffee. We ended up throwing out half of our coffee and driving to Starbucks.

Great service! Great Chai Latte! Wonderful atmosphere! Wish I had one close to my home. You walk into this cute little retro java café and are instantly greeted with a smile and a welcoming. Then you see that this is not just some ordinary Starbucks, but a place to become entranced in a world of bistro splendor. Their menu is not too big but not too small and it fits the vibe. They have very delightfully looking deserts that instantly call your attention. I didn’t have any desserts but would love to in the future. I did however have an Iced Chai Latte and an Artichoke Panini. The Iced Chai Latte was wonderful. The important thing with an Iced Chai Latte is to make it strong enough to pull the flavor through the entire time it takes you to drink it(because ice melts), but yet not so overpowering as to startle you upon first sip. Very much so achieved here. The Panini was nice, a little over priced for what it was, but nice. It had the right amount of tang from the cheese while still allowing the artichokes to come through. I would have appreciated a higher quality bread, but was in a nice enough mood to give a 5STAR Review!!!

This location is easy to find, has plenty of parking and a friendly staff. They must have a lot of local customers because they seemed to know a lot of the patrons. The store is cute with local art and lots of snacks for sale. Sadly, I didn’t like my latte at all. It was revoltingly bitter. I took one sip, and winced. Then I stirred it up, hoping it would get better but it didn’t improve. So after four sips, I tossed it and drove to a different coffee shop.
