From a food perspective, average. Obviously the view is spectacular, but that’s more the hotel.

Came here for dinner. Must order the shishito peppers. They’re absolutely amazing! Just make sure not to eat the seeds; otherwise your mouth will be burning. The kahlua pork flatbread was a bit salty, but the lobster Mac n cheese was really yummy!

Very nice ambiance. We visited two nights in a row because we REALLY enjoyed the waffle fries nachos and the live music. The servers are extremely personable and remember even the smallest details of small talk you may have shared the day before. That is definitely a customer service plus! The first day we went before our photo shoot on the beach and then back after our session. The waitress came over and chatted with us about our session and the manager even asked how it went because he saw us on the beach taking them. The attention to detail really makes you feel important! Prices are what you would expect for a resort. However, the food portions are large and big enough to share. Whatever you get here you will not be disappointed!

Had dinner here and the ambience with sunset was fantastic! We also had a few cocktails and enjoyed the view in this lovely location. They also had live music which added a nice touch! Yes I would recommend.

Greats atmosphere: dim lights; live music; family setting. The food was great. Nice burgers, a little bit salty. The waffle fries were not as crunchy as I wanted them to be. Pasta was good. I thought the drinks were on the expensive side – non alcoholic drinks. This place is great for watching the sunset. The wait staff were friendly.

Nice & friendly service. Great place to grab a drink during the day or evening. We went 2 evenings and it’s a decent, chill crowd. There’s a couple of fire pits and lounge seating too. Prices are what you’d expect.

We stopped in for some pre-dinner drinks. ATMOSPHERE: The bar is outdoors, pool side at the Andaz Wailea. The bar seating area is fairly large along with intimate sofa style seating with a gas fire pit, and a long communal counter. There are views of the pool and ocean. Live music was happening on this Wednesday night. MENU: It’s mostly drinks but they also have a small food menu of bar-type snacks like chicken wings, sashimi, and brussels sprouts. BEVERAGE: Heineken — $ 7 but from a can. That’s odd. SERVICE The bartender was friendly & welcoming. OVERALL: Nice place, fair prices.

My boyfriend and I love this place. We visit Lehua Lounge at Andaz(a Hyatt resort in Wailea) every few weeks and have always had an excellent experience. We started going there a year ago when they first opened and were greeted immediately by Fernando, a funny and cool bartender who is now the bar manager, I think. We had such great service and drinks that night, and we have continued going there every few weeks. Soon we met bartenders Holly, Archer, and Lehua. They all rock! This is one of the best groups of bartenders I have ever met, and they have always greeted us by name and with a smile. Archer created a fabulous spicy, yet fruity cocktail that I order every time. When we show up, he knows my usual drink and makes it with a big smile. The bar staff always look like they are having a great time, at work and the nicest part is – they are! There is a reason we return to Lehua Lounge, and it isn’t just the awesome ocean view. It is because we really like the friendly bartenders who treat us like family every time we go there. Quick side note: We also visit another bar(Umalu) at another Hyatt location on the westside of Maui and have a similarly wonderful experience there each time. The Hyatt Human Resources Department must have very high standards when choosing employees — it certainly shows!

I must confess, the Lehua Lounge at the Andaz Maui at Wailea(a Hyatt property) on Maui was a last-minute addition for drinks and appetizers on my way to another restaurant in the Wailea resort area. But OMG, am I SO glad I went. The view was stunning, the ambiance was spa-like, the cocktails were creative and tasty, and the food(I had small plate items) was remarkably good. Full review here:

Nice view and live music is nice. Service also good but someone went cheap on the alcohol brand selections. No Bombay, no Tanquerey on the gin side. Beefeaters and Plymouth. Vodka no grey goose, no Ciroc, no Chopin, instead absolute, stoli … Ouch! Buyer if you’re reading this get with the times. Otherwise a nice place.

More appealing at night. Comfy sofas by the pool, dim lighting, pleasant background music. Creative appetizers and cocktails, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Food is a bit pricey. Ka’ana Kitchen restaurant one level above is a better value for the money, but this lounge is still a very enjoyable experience either for light food or after dinner cocktails.
