I cut into my steak(didn’t need to because it was fried) and politely asked a server(not even mine) to take a look at it. The service was great, I received a whole new plate free of charge, and the manager and waitress were fast and great! Get a steak, you can’t go wrong. The chocolate thunder dessert was outstanding if you like chocolate. Pretty good prices too, if you don’t want to go broke for a family of four at a decent place! Give it a try!

Third times a charm… except at this Outback. I came here multiple times because I love Outback’s food but this one has managed to screw up my order three times in a row. I should have gotten the picture the first time I came here when they put all the wrong fixings on their own burger without me making any changes at all to the menu. Today is the first time they actually brought me what I ordered without any mistakes but they brought an iced cold baked potato. I give up. If you have the patience to allow them to try multiple times(the second time I came here they screwed up the same order twice!) then go for it. I, personally, will not be back.

First, my grandma’s steak was overcooked. This wasn’t a huge deal because we thought it was going to be fixed. However, when the server came back with the replacement dish, we found that the steak was now undercooked, AND they had replaced her baked potato, which makes me wonder what was wrong with it in the first place. Not worth the hour wait…

Came here on Mother’s Day they had a nice special for mimosas very well made by the bartender :). I have come here several time and I always end up just eating appetizers. It was a hard debate agains calamari or bloomin onion… I went with the calamari which the past couple times and this time included it wasn’t very good… not much flavor in the breading. I also got a baked potato and Alice spring quesadilla. which was very good love the cheese blend mushrooms and chicken and bacon it is delish every time I get it! My daughter got the cheese burger and fries… cheeseburger looked okay kinda like it has been sitting under the heat lamp for a little too long… we also were given bread which is always consistently good… The servers and hostess and manager are all very nice when I eat here… It made me have a good mother day:)

Service was amazing. Didn’t order a cocktail with my food, nothing was really inspiring to drink. Food was subpar. I had ordered the baked potato with everything but sour cream and it showed up with only sour cream. Shortly after getting home I got some very bad heartburn and this morning was not any better. I won’t go into details, but both ends were not happy. This was our first time at outback on island and will be our last. If it was not for the good service I would have only given a 1 star.

Though the server was nice and attentive the food was no better quality than a Sizzlers. The tokoyo teas were good and our warmed up left overs were better than the original meal. Will we return? Hard to say maybe we will try the prime rib if we are out that way after 4:00.

The waitress was great Food was awesome… I was going to let this go but I feel I have to speak out… We were seaded in a booth in the bar area(still very cozy) there were 2 other parties seated in the same area… I noticed the manager walked right past us(2 local people) and visited both the other tables to ask how everything was… and not once came our way or even looked our way… hummmm what’s up with that?

We used to love going there but after last night I’m not too sure we will be returning! The food tasted good that’s why I gave it 2 stars, but the portions are sad. My husband ordered the chicken and ribs, and when it came it looked like a kids meal! For the price is was very disappointing. They were out of chicken strips for the kids which really bummed my son out. They were also out of titos vodka for the signature drink I tried to order. Service was OK. the server brought 2 loaves of the bread for 5 people. He never asked if we would like more bread or water. Seems like the prices are up and the portions are down! Dinner was not cheap and we left unsatisfied. Really sad cause this has always been our favorite place to go for special occasions.

One of my fav casual restaurants on Maui. It is my «go to» restaurant when we can’t decide where to eat because it is always great! My fav appetizers — Bloomin Onion & Aussie Cheese Fries. The Bloomin Onion has a great spice to it. And the fries are just loaded with cheese and bacon with ranch dip. My fav entrée(I order the same thing every time) — Outback Sirloin, medium rare with the lobster & mushroom topping and a Caesar salad and Garlic Mash Potatoes for my sides. My boyfriend orders the clam chowder as a side as well so we can share the salad and soup. Something to try — lobster and mushroom topping. If you haven’t tried it before you need too, it is the perfect sauce to top the steak. The favors great together! Love coming here! See you soon Outback!

We used to love coming here when it was located in the Lahaina Gateway. When my boyfriend & I attempted to come here for Valentine’s Day, it was a complete bust. We called at 12pm asking if they took reservations. «No reservations, first come first serve.» *click. The hostess stand is lousy and very rude. When we asked how long the wait would be they snapped with«1 hour &15 minutes, there are 4 pages, so you’ll be on the bottom of that.» So glad we left. Service is horrible.

Took my family to Outback for dinner 1−22−16. Food was yummy. I ordered the grass fed burger, med rare. It was awesome. Sat at a corner booth table, host need to retrain. The sad part was that refilling water wasn’t up to par at all. The really sad part was that if you’re serving desserts, you have to be sure water is available. If you plan to make reservations, be sure to get seated closer to the front, that’s where all the good servers located. ;) 3 Stars. The guy was lucky I still tipped him $ 10.00.

Good food and poor light, this would be the place to be! Great $ 4 drink specials-all delicious and they also have other signature drinks available and a full bar. They also have happy hour. Seatings include bar or table seating. I would recommend making reservations for large parties and reservations in general during the weekend. Their bread is served warm with whipped butter. Also great paired with jam! I will always get their wings hot, it tastes more like mild. It comes with 7 – 9 wings. Battered with seasoning and comes with blue cheese, carrots and celery. Another popular favorite are the blooming onions! They are battered and fried. Careful as they can be a miss served oily app. For entrees, I love the toowamba pasta. It is fettuccini Alfredo with crawfish and shrimp. Sometimes I love to add a lobster tail. Seafood overload! They don’t have this at all Outback Restaurants– the one in Buffalo to be specific. Steak is steak, and they have really good ones. The servers will always assure that the temperature is at your preference. Rib eye would be my preference! The major ding to this place is the service. If you are at a hidden corner you will know that getting a server to your attention will be difficult. The wait time can also test your patience.

They have done away with the happy hour! Why!!!:(it was one of the best deals in Kihei Town! They have however updated some of the décor and added a few nice creature comforts like more indoor seating and a serve yourself lemon water cooler while you wait. A few more menu items we noticed: No worries Wednesday’s are create your own 3 course dinner starting at 17.99. They’ve also added a few new sandwiches to the menu. I like how they are incorporating more budget conscious options for those of us not on vacation in Maui ;)

Everytime I come here the food is always consistent. The service is always great. Today we took two kids and they had a blast. Our server was most accommodating and super friendly. My other half ordered the half rack of ribs and I the six ounce sirloin. My son had the cheeseburger with fresh fruit and my niece had the mac and cheese with fries. I ordered my steak to be cooked at a medium rare and it came out perfectly done. Reddish/pink inside. Seasoning was perfect! The loaded potato fine. Cheese blend, grn onion, bacon bits. The rack of ribs was on the dry side. The sauce was sweet and sticky. Needless to say, it did not deter him from finishing it all. The kids devoured their food. The fresh fruit consisted of green apples and approx 6 grapes. Our server was great. She checked on us when needed and made sure the kids ate first… so we could watch football(for a lil while, in peace).

I know this is just another chain restaurant but the food was great and we had a really good experience. We tried the restaurant on a weekday and got a table right away, no waiting. We started with their bread and butter. They have a nice wheat loaf of bread. Very tasty. I had the filet minion as my entrée with green beans and broccoli instead of potato. I also had a salad with honey mustard as they were out of the vinaigrette I wanted. The steak was nicely cooked — flavorful and tender. Almost could cut it with a fork. My mom had the ½ rack of ribs. The meat was tender, falling over the bone. Good fries with it. Our waitress seemed new as she did not know if they served hot tea. She figured it out and was very helpful and talkative. Good waitress who gave us good service. Definitely will be back even though it is a chain restaurant.

Looks like greed has prevailed at Outback. What was once the best Happy Hour of all, has become typically boring and mundane. Gone are the delicious half off specials — my favorite Wings, Seared Ahi, Bloomin’ Onion, and Calamari, all axed in favor of a «Sips and Snacks» menu which consists of 3 styles of chips and dip. Yay. And the beer special is gone too. That’s just mean. Also, the No Rules Parmesan Pasta no longer comes with scallops. SMH. Gimme back a star!

If you fancy a good piece of meat or a nice beer selection, the outback steakhouse is a good place to go to. The restaurant is a little cold as the AC is turned on to the max, but the tables at the left end corner are a little better. The service is quick, friendly and prices are average. So all in all no gourmet experience which is not to be expected from an Outback Steakhouse but a good option!
