Holy cow I just found the best bar food ever paired with real decent service. The range of Happy Hour appetizer options including sushi, wings, poke and brussel sprouts were decent portion sizes and prepared perfectly. Even the deserts including a gluten free option was great. We dined outside with live entertainment, a lone guitarist who was very good. Finally, it’s the service that makes the experience. Our server, Ruth was both attractive and professional from what I could see the standard. Definitely go for happy hour you won’t be disappointed.

Deeeeeelicious. Best Ahi sashimi I’ve ever eaten. Excellent rolls. Made my son Alfredo for his pasta from scratch when it wasn’t even on the menu and it was fabulous. Excellent service, homemade potato chips and salsa served while you wait for your food. We will definitely be back next time we visit Maui!

Some of the best food on island! Never disappointed by the food or ambiance. Service can be slow, especially during happy hour when they get slammed. They have an AMAZING happy hour though, so it’s totally worth it. Sit outside and watch sunset while listening to live music, or enjoy a great brunch. There is no wrong time to go. Fresh fish, ono sushi, and creative appetizers and main dishes. I’m currently obsessed with the bacon wrapped hotdog covered in kimchee and mango salsa, and the kalua pork nachos with white truffle aioli and taro chips.

Wasn’t that impressed and the prices were a bit high. I liked the location and the ambiance and the employees are friendly and helpful. I have gone twice, once for happy hour and once for lunch with friends from the mainland. We had an ok lunch.

We will not come back here. The first morning they screwed up my husband’s eggs in the eggs Benedict. twice! They took it off the bill which was cool of them. Everyone else had a great meal. They asked that we please give them another try, so we did… well we shouldn’t have. My husband and I got the crab omelettes and the crab tasted old. Not cool. So we won’t be back. They got two stars for the amazing pancakes and taking the bad meals off.

If your searching for best prime rib, search no longer! Three’s offers surf(sushi, yum) and turf and by far my favorite, paired up with bacon brussel sprouts WOW! As a concierge, I have eaten my way around the island and Three’s has my highest recommendation based on taste, price and ambiance!

My friend and I came for happy hour cocktails and pupu’s. The place was packed but they kindly found us a wonderful table for two outside. Our server, Jason, showed up almost immediately and took our drink order even with my friend drooling all over him. Lol. Jason is a stunning man and an amazing server. The food came out fast, was amazingly delicious, but not nearly as attractive as our server Jason. My friend wanted to take him home as leftovers.

Here for happy hour. Had the sushi rolls, lettuce wraps, and margarita. Oh wait, the husband just ordered the coconut shrimp. Yummy! Great place for watching sports on the big screen. Looks like they have live music too. Our waitress is FANTASTIC!

Average food. Nothing spectacular. I am still not sure what their specialty is, if they have one. I have been here a few times, trying to find that ‘something special’ to make me come back… I just cant. I had the most pitiful $ 20+ hamburger here, Im sorry to say. It came out overcooked. All I can think about while eating this pitiful thing is that I can get a much better burger around the corner at Café Olé for ½ the price. I may give this place another try, but will take much prompting for me to go back.

Meh-le kalikimaka. This place is aptly named three’s, as in three out of five stars. Far too expensive for the quality of food served. Had the the Loko Moko and it was not so bueno. The burger was rubbery and the fried egg, too. Everyone I was with had some issue with their plate. The live music was nice though, and the outdoor seating pushed the review up a star.

We ate at Three’s twice during our week in Maui. Dinner: We stopped in on a rainy night without a reservation. The place was packed. We were told it would be like a 30 minute wait. They said they could take our number and text us when our table was ready. We popped over to What Ales You for a pre-dinner drink and before we knew it our table was ready. As we sat we were greeted by our server Joe who was awesome! He filled us in on the specials and took drink orders. One member of our party is our wine guru so we automatically just let all wine be ordered by him. When he ordered Turley Cederman I almost fell out of my seat. We are huge Turley fans and the Cenderman is so difficult and expensive to get stateside; however, they had it and at a reasonable price. Needless to say we were overjoyed and I am so pleased to say that the wine did no disappoint! I had the prime rib and it paired so lovely. The prime rib was done perfect medium and the outer crust was very flavorful. We followed the Cederman with a Turley Dragon which was equally exciting and enjoyable. Our service was incredible as was the food and wine. Probably one of my favorite dining experiences while we were in Maui. Breakfast: We stopped in for a quick breakfast before leaving for the airport. We sat in the bar to catch a little football. I had the Tropical French Toast. It was sweet Hawaiian bread stuffed with lilikoi(passion fruit) cream cheese. It was AWESOME! Service was good, not as outstanding as dinner but good none the less. If ever on Maui again I would definitely dine at Three’s Bar and Grill!

November 19, 2015 Thursday — 6:30PM for dinner 4 adults Atmosphere — 5 star Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — Dale spied out this place one night after walking past it from What Ales You. Nice pick Dale! Atmosphere — It has a feel of three restaurants. To the left of the hostess station it is bar restaurant feel. To the right a fine dining area, which is where we sat. It was the perfect place for us. After further to the right they had a patio area. Food — Drinks — I had a Stone IPA, a classic IPA. As I said earlier Dale checked out the place beforehand. It was all about their wine list, and he surprised the ladies with a bottle of Turley’s Cedarman and the followed up with a bottle of Turley’s Dragon. The table was in heaven with those two bottles. Dinner — I had an excellent cut of prime rib. A nice thick cut cooked to order with great seasoning. I know there were other things on the plate but that was just clutter. Service — Our waiter was on point and knew his stuff. Future — Would love to have another great dinner here.

Three’s is always good! We go more than once each time we’re on the island! They have a great happy hour, tasty sushi and live music on the patio. Each visit the service has been really great and full of Aloha spirit.

Three’s is a nice restaurant in Maui with a southern type feel. The area is pretty spacey so it’s good to go with groups especially if you want so see some live music or watch sporting events(I saw signs that there’s some live music too if you go at the right time) They have a huge projector screen in the corner of the main eating area that was playing football when we went(for all you sports fans!). Our server was super nice and knowledgable about their menu. He also recommended the PERFECT appetizer which was the KALUAPORKNACHOS ! It is a MUSTHAVE especially cause you never really see that item on the menu. They have a wide variety of items on their menu from Japanese food such as ramen and sushi to American food(ribeye, flat iron steak, ribs, prime rib, and hamburgers). I was craving rolls so I got the volcano roll. Very tasty if you like spicy food! Our party also got the ribs and the prime rib which were both cooked perfectly and served with some mashed potatoes. I really do not have any complaints with the food we ordered. Very flavorful and came out in a timely manner. ALSO: you get a free appetizer with 2 entrees if you check in on Unilocal !’ And the appetizers are about $ 15 bucks each!!! Such a DEAL!

Our hostess on the phone was pleasant and accomodating. We were a family of four out on a Monday night. We would arrive in 30 minutes. The place was still busy but hardly any wait. Our hostess informed me upon arrival that she knew of a patio table being cleaned and she was excited to «save it» just for us. Cute, and it made me feel very welcomed! Our server, Joe, was a little chatty, like an aspiring actor, but nonetheless equally accomodating, particularly with cleaning up in between courses(), checking on drinks() and boxing our leftovers(!). The live music was soothing and pop-jazzy, a mix of Mayer and similar, Sara Bareilles, and perhaps Melody Gardot. The pricing was about par for Maui. We spent $ 150 for two adults, two teens, one dessert, three glasses of pinot grigio and one call drink, including a 20%tip. Not a daily thing, a treat for sure, and the atmosphere and staff were so pleasant, we probably spent more than we would have otherwise. There was NOTHING wrong. My daughter did not enjoy her CA roll but we’re not sure sure why(teens). Very cool place, cool vibe and worth throwing down some bones for good food, good service and great atmosphere.

The hostess was very prompt and assisted us. We were lucky because the night we went. They had a live band. What a treat! Asked the waitress on Sushi she recommended and tried her top 3. Once we devoured the sushi. It was dessert time and blackberry pie was my choice. Great service and great menu

Three Chefs. Three Surfers. Three Friends. Travis Morrin, Cody Christopher, and Jaron Blosser are the owners of Three’s Bar & Grill in Kihei, Maui. Great neighborhood restaurant serving locally sourced ingredients with a chill vibe. Love that they support live music and local musicians. Enjoy a great night of music by the group«The Three of Us.» The mediterranean whole wheat flat bread salad is one of my favorites. Grilling flat bread gives the dish a wonderful aroma and flavor. Another favorite is the Sunset Roll= Spicy tuna, topped off with avocado, salmon, spicy aioli, beets, negi, sesame seeds, tobiko. Topping the Sunset Roll with fresh shaved curly beets, not offers a beautiful presentation, but also takes the edge off the heat of the spicy tuna. Sweet and sensational was the blueberry pie ala mode. Looking forward to hearing the band«The Three of Us» again soon. They were excellent! The reason I did give a five star rating was because of not having consistency in food flavors and service.

One of my favorite places to go for happy hour! Three’s has a nice atmosphere and a chill kihei vibe. The outdoor seating is a must. Most evenings someone is out there with a guitar and a great voice, adding to the experience. My husband and I went out for our anniversary dinner. The margarita’s were ½ off and so delicious. We got the kalua pork quesadillas and as usual, the plate was clean. My husband got sushi and said: «this is the best sushi I’ve ever had. I could eat this all day.» He’s a fan. He loves his sushi. More margaritas. Now I’m full. So I just order the hurricane fries because I know my husband will order a large meal and share some with me. Fries were bomblicious. My husband got the French dip and it was just okay. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The meat was a little on the fatty side and bread was lacking flavor. It just wasn’t our favorite. But everything else was. Thanks Three’s!
