Okay, let me start by saying that up until my food came, I was going to give this place a poor review. The restaurant is very small and cramped. If I had to describe the building itself, I would say«FIREHAZARD». We went on a Friday night and it was PACKED. We were told it would probably be a 15 minute wait, but it was almost 40 minutes. The problem is, there is nowhere to stand while you’re waiting to be seated, except for a tiny little gift shop, and we were packed in there like sardines. This place is obviously a local favorite, as the hostess seemed to know everyone who was coming in the door and the locals seemed to be given seating priority, which was frustrating. When we finally got seated, we sat at our table for almost 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, let alone offered us something to drink. We almost left. It’s a good thing we stayed, because the food was amazing. I got the lasagna, which came with a side of spaghetti, salad, and a big basket of garlic bread. It was a ton of food. I took half of it back to my hotel room with me. I would definitely chalk the slow initial service to the fact that it was so crazy busy, because our server ended up being really good and the food came out fast after we ordered. It was delicious and I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the OBX again. As long as you aren’t claustrophobic, you will love it too.

Definitely Corky, A dive is a dive, is a dive… Looks like somebody turned their love for drinking into a business that has a lot of corky stuff inside from their past. The place needs a good clean out and update, away We stopped for lunch, it was a slow only a few folks and after a look at the menu I could tell why. They had some sandwiches, some burgers, some salads and seafood. Unfortunately the seafood on the lunch menu fried to fried to death, Big disappointment in my book. We are in the OBX feet from the ocean and their sign said seafood… To be fair we did take a look breakfast and dinner menu, now that’s what we was looking for seafood the is not deep fried to death it’s on the dinner menu and not available at lunch. Maybe someday with check out the place at dinner time.
