Copper Mountain Apartments

I looked all over Killeen and Harker heights to find an affordable, SAFE, friendly apartment to live in while transitioning to the next chapter in our lives. Fortunately, Copper Mountain was running a sale and the two bedroom two bath was in our price range; therefore, we were able to secure a spot at this wonderful, family oriented location! Being off during the summer, I was
constantly trying to keeps my kids busy and this great facility help me to do just that!
They have a small park, a large pool, volleyball area, and basketball courts. They also have a beautiful gazebo right in front of our apartment where I take lots of beautiful pictures of the kids. Copper Mountain has absolutely perfect landscaping, which makes going outside very pleasing! Just to add the icing on the cake, I must not forget to mention how quiet the complex is during all hours and days of the week! I cannot say enough great things about Copper Mountain and their staff! Just an all around great location to live at!

Worst place ever to rent from. Terrible staff, ant problems. Stay far away! They will try and take every dime you have.

Don’t recommend. $ 600 per pet PLUS $ 10 a month per pet. A lot of flooding and air conditioning issues. Ants everywhere. They only have 2 or 3 dumpsters that are always full so trash flies everywhere. My neighbors car got vandalized.

We have lived here for a year before we had to move due to PCS orders. We happily signed a lease again when we returned to Killeen. I can’t express how great it is to live at Copper Mountain Apartments. I can walk to so many places or hop on a bus quickly to go everywhere if I don’t drive. We are close to stores, shops and restaurants. We only had one dog when we lived here before and now we have two and that wasn’t an issue. Because we were previous residents we even got a few perks and flexibilities worked into our lease which definitely helped with moving costs!
If there is ever an issue the maintenance department is on it right away and I’m never left without something (an issue I cannot say I avoided with other rental properties abroad!). Its family friendly as well as young and old couples alike and even bachelors too! Great energy, well maintained grounds and there are always activities and contests being organized by the wonderful staff in the leasing office. I refer anyone I can to come check it out. Its wonderful

This is a great place to live. We have stay @ Copper Mountain for almost 2 years before relocating. The staffs make the experience even better. They are so friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They see you as a person and not an apartment number or just another tenant. We missed everyone in the office greatly. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a awesome place to live in Killeen!
