We have lived here before. We came back and all I have to say is I loved the arbors 4 years ago and now I love them even more. I guess there’s new staff who are so friendly and helpful.

These apartments look great online and the staff acts accommodating and caring over email and phone call but once you move in its all over ! We signed a lease for 825 a month including water and gas. But it was never that way we were always charged extra for those things. and now they are saying they are adding sewer. Their advertising is off and not well worded. There isnt enough parking for their tenants and they really dont do much for that. Our toilets always over flow, and our dishwasher randomly broke one day and it took them 4 days to fix it. We are definitely not happy with this apartment complex and the staff. There is no way to end your lease early even if you die, believe it thats real its in the lease that even if someone passes away you have to pay the charges until the apartment is fully cleared out. how wrong is that ???

I wish Unilocal had an option for zero or negative stars.
1. They show you a refurbished apartment then do a bait and switch by putting you into an unfurbished one.
2. The unfurbished apartments have old AC units that do not cool the apartment due to them losing their freon charge. This means that these cheaper AC units must be constantly recharged in order to properly cool the apartment. Good luck with that.
3. The apartment I stayed at, along with my two neighbors, had a mosquito infestation that was never remedied by the maintenance people.
4. They charge crazy convenient fees by paying rent online (around $ 23 last time I checked).
5. Month to month payments are at least $ 200 more than if you get a lease.
6. None or very little available parking for guests.
Bottom line; they say they are a sister apartment complex of Independence Place but that is where the similarities end. Run away.

This apartment complex is a shell of its former self. How do i start first off they claim to have a security gate but it took about 4 months to get it fixed and if you walk the perimeter you will see gaps in the gating. This is not a gated community. Take a walk around and you will see massive gaps and often the residents take advantage and walk through these gaps to access to bars behind the complex. So if security is paramount for you beware!!! For the most part maintenance is pretty good but often they will neglect a work order request or just cancel it outright without explanation. The landscaping is excellent but i pity if your one of the residents who live near the pool area because it is prone to flooding. The staff is excellent for the most part and are quick to respond to most needs. I will not be renewing my lease.

The staff gets a 5 just for dealing with me. I was apartment hunting for several weeks. The office was so inviting and homey feeling and talking with the staff was like catching up with old friends, a very comforting feeling. I was a bit indecisive on what floor plan I wanted and I came back numerous times to look again. I worked with both ladies in the front office and they showed me the models and a vacant apartment that I really liked the location of. I am pleased to announce that I am now a happy resident and I enjoy spending my time poolside at the Arbors of Killeen.
