This is my favorite wing bar. Pluckers offers excellent service and has the best wings ever. Great events and atmosphere. This is the best restaurant in Killeen. If you want good wings and a beer try this place.

WORSTSERVICEINTOWN!!! Horrible wait times, mixed-up orders and generally unpleasant waiters. The only reason I step foot in this place is for the drinks(pluckers lemonade with berry Ciroc. you’ll thank me later!) I don’t recommend bringing a large party. stick to a spot at the bar(if you can get one) and definitely order some fried macaroni! It’s unfortunate that the wait staff and management are so poor because the food is usually good, albeit limited in choices.

Basically like a BWW but better quality wings and better appetizers to choose from(desert too!). The fried macaroni was AMAZING and the fried Oreos were to die for. Wings were crispy and there are lots of sauces to choose from. My only complaint are all the little charges(i.e, splitting sauce charge, all drumsticks or flappers, etc.) None of them are that bad but it seems unnecessary. Other than that we had a great time and good service and will be back!

I decided to give this place another try after a not so good take out experience a year ago(management did contact me and sent me a gift card). When we arrived we were greeted and asked if we had a preferred seating area. My husband asked for the private dining area due to the big screen t.v.s not because he enjoys my company, lol. Ryan was our server and he was great. He informed me since my birthday was the day prior that if I paid $ 10 for the Pluckers membership I would get a free appetizer and entrée which ended up saving us $ 8.50. Plus when we go back they have daily food and drink specials that only members get. AWESOME! We ordered the nachos as our appetizer(chicken, honey BBQ, red onion and queso) and although they didn’t look all that appetizing they were delicious. For our entrees we went with the boneless wings basket with dry rub ranch, 10 wing combo with mango habernero and grilled cheese for the little one. The dry rub ranch wings reminded me of the wings I get at one of my favorite restaurants in Austin which arguably has the best wings on the planet, so the fact that Pluckers had a resemblance was awesome. My husband enjoyed his wings as well. The waffle fries are ok. I would’ve preferred a seasoned fry because they were quite plain. We never received the apple juice that came with my daughter’s meal, but she had a sippy cup so we didn’t make a fuss. We had no problem with the noise level as stated in other reviews. Although we were in the private dining area. I was also careful to use my ranch dipping sauce sparingly, after reading other reviews about there being upcharges. I wish they would give you more before they charge you because the cup they put the sauce in is super small. In the end I’m glad we gave this place another try. Food was good and Ryan was attentive. Next time we’re craving wings and don’t feel like driving to Austin this will be our spot.

Pluckers was a great meet up for the car club they have a lil party room where we held our meet the waiters where fast and friendly but there’s one thing that sucked one of my members was accused of leaving his tab open even tho he paid and we had to wait around for a while after they swiped my card they other waitress came and said he already paid moral of the story time waisted

Amazing fried pickle spears– unfortunately they up charge for EVERYTHING.$ 0.75 just for bbq sauce; wings were pretty plain and lacking sauce to begin with so… Loved the sweet potatoes fries, they come with cinnamon and sugar. Will be back(with my own sauce ;) haha)

When I don’t know what I want or where to go for lunch, I go to Pluckers. I’m not a sports fan, so the environment does nothing for me but I can definitely stand being in it. The fried pickles are the best, as long as they don’t make them hot enough to melt the top of your mouth. The wings have just the right amount of crunch and flavor and the staff is very friendly. Love the food, I’d get it to go.

Ate here a bunch of times and the wings are always pretty darn good… would definitely prefer this place to BWWs. The spicy garlic parmesan was amazing!

Favorite place for wings!!! The chips and queso are a good appetizer. The homemade potato chips with bleu cheese are delicious. My favorite wing sauce is spicy lemon pepper. Wingo on Friday nights are fun to play and free!

This was my first visit here. The atmosphere was that of a regular sports bar/restaurant establishment. There are two separate dining areas and an outside seating area. The greeters were nice and sat us promptly. There are many flat screens of various sizes throughout the restaurant to include near the bar area. This place was SUPER loud and rowdy as both sides had tables filled with guests who were celebrating a birthday. To be expected for a place like this so no biggie. The waitress assigned to our booth was slow, «matter of factly» and made sly comments. We order the magic mushrooms as an appetizer which never came out… We actually forgot about them until our wings were brought out. The waitress took the initiative to get a manager to our table, not sure why because we didn’t complain more so the fact that all he said was«I was told some of your food came out, out of order of there is anything you need from me let me know.» How about the appetizer was LATE that’s the cause of it being delivered to the table out of order. Anyway, it was not a big deal until we asked for ranch and the waitress says«well I wouldn’t want to charge you for another one and there is one right there.» She goes on to say how ranch is 50 cents and did some crazy math if each waitress gave away a ranch without charging the company would lose on average $ 5000 a year. I said«are you serious right now?» Check please… Other than the waitress, I ordered the mango habanero flavored wing, spicy lemon pepper wings(all flats an extra $ 1) and waffle fries with spicy ranch dry rub seasoning. Very tasty. I would order wings from this place again. The mushrooms were good too, almost taste like tempura fried mushrooms. Food tasty, that one waitress… needs work

Pluckers boneless wings are gigantic ! Only downfall is they make you get a side with them. I just want wings? No fries! They have 2 specialty drinks that are delicious, the psychedelic frog and the superman. Mm they are good ! They have daily specials and a couple are all u can eat wing days !

Good overpriced food but HORRIBLE take out service. I’ve debated writing a review several times. Today I was given ample time to place an order, drive from my house 10 miles away, show up to a half full Pluckers, pay, open up Unilocal and write this review. These guys are slow and don’t re-verify if customers have been taken care of. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. Very substandard service. Also, the prices have slowly risen over the years. Now I remember why I don’t eat here.

Food is decent. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired though. My first thought is. LOUD! The building has all the ambience of a junior high school cafeteria. They turn up the overhead speakers loud to overcome this and try to present you the sound for whatever game is currently relevant. The problem is that in that acoustic situation, the sound becomes so muffled that you can’t make out any details of what they are trying to present. Did I mention that holding a conversation is impossible? Service is a bit slow. An uncomfortable wait after being seated… Just about the time you decide you might want to leave and go somewhere else, someone finally shows up. From then on, you get sporadic attention. Good thing the drinks are large, because they aren’t likely to return to give you a refill. Heaven help you if you need more dipping sauce or some other condiment. I have been to a number of sports oriented venues. While they are all louder than your average sit down restaurant. at least you can hold conversations just below yelling. Don’t expect that here. I have also been to busy places where the staff managed to check on you more than once in a meal. Overall, if you can get your food to go, you might enjoy this, but I certainly don’t plan on dining in here again. There better options in the area.

So far they have never let me down. This is my 3rd visit. Brought my friend from Germany tonight and again still the great service from before. The woman who helped us out greatly was either Melinda or belinda either way she took care of us. The girl who dropped our food off was rude as hell. Didn’t even ask us who got what and rushed to talk to other customers. Oh well her top loss

This place is pretty sweet. I use to go to the original Pluckers in West Campus back in college. $ 20 for all you can eat Wings on Tuesday. What a deal! I think I maxed out at 30, but that was back in the day. Nowadays, I’d be lucky to get down 15. Came to Killeen for a wedding weekend and had some drinks here the night before the wedding. For $ 8 you get a HUGE beer. I’m talking about BIGGULP big. This is deep Texas after all. I also love that patron shots here are only $ 5. Coming from NYC, this is basically free. They also had WINGO that night which is their version of BINGO. Tons of locals here hanging out on a Friday night. Lots of GIs and lesbian couples. All in all, not a bad place to spend your Friday night.

I usually come here and love it. However tonight apparently there is no customer service. We ask for a table where it is not so loud and cold but was told that we couldn’t because they closed that section. I explained we have people in the party who get migraines and have ptsd hence why we come super late. We were then sat by a door that had a horrible breeze everytime someone would walk through. Our server wasn’t any help either. Our order was simple but head to explain it over and over. Our food wasn’t any better. Chicken was very dry and the salad had chunks of lettuce that was inedible. Absolutely just horrible. I will not be back anytime soon. And considering that I used to come here all the time I am very disappointed. Well after me pulling this up to write my review they moved us to the original table we wanted. Still not changing the review though the service is bad and the food isn’t anything to rave about. I will be going somewhere else since I will be leaving hungry.

I’ve been here several times with my coworkers and it never disappoints. We normally prefer patio seating but we were seated inside this time. Our server was Amanda and she was in training. Poor thing… we were here rowdiest table that night. She was so sweet and patient. Surprisingly, no one was drinking. Everyone was just amped up. I think it was a combination of a long work week and letting off some steam. Let’s talk food: The Holy Macaroni aka fried mac n cheese is pretty awesome. It comes with ranch and some type of sweet syrupy sauce. I wouldn’t suggest using that. Just stick with the ranch. The mac n cheese has a nice crunchy outside and the inside is smooth and cheesy. I loved it. The Sweet Potato fries are just as good. I barely got a picture of them. I would suggest they make a frosting type of dipping sauce for it. I had the lemon pepper wings as always. No they don’t compare to Wing Stop but their still good. Oh before I forget. Do not I repeat do not eat the fried Oreos. They are really bad. The ice cream was the best part. It was chewy and doughy. Our faces were like this the entire time. Don’t waste your money. I knocked a star only because when your seated inside. It’s very hard to hear each other talk. So you spend your time yelling and eating all at the same time.

Wings! They’re one of my favorite snacks: part tasty fried chicken without breaded filler and part saucy options. Sometimes you get rewarded for checking out new places. I got a table near the bar area and the customer service I received was great. I asked for a quick rundown on sauce flavors and for some fan favorites since it was my first(and only) visit in town. The server was really patient, helpful, and brought out some sauces to try as well as a complimentary first-time-customer mini-sampler of fried pickles. Awesome. The food came out piping hot and everything was delicious. To the other chicken wing bars, you’re on notice. If Pluckers expands to my neck of the woods, then you’re in for some serious wingtastic competition.
