Logan’s Roadhouse

After my run in at Applebee’s, we went to Logan’s. Instead of we don’t have any tables one of the hostesses quickly said let me go bus this table and we’ll get you in. Drinks and appetizers coupled with fantastic service by Sakeenah. Had some laughs with her and the fam. Thanks Logan’s for saving the day. Much appreciated.

I took my boyfriend there for dinner and i love the meal. And my boyfriend was very happy thanks to oscar the waiter. ;)

I was looking for a great steak and atmosphere. You get both here. I had the bourbon steak and shrimp it was great. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce that was served went well with the fried and grilled shrimp. The topper was the excellent bartender Randi she made a few good food recommendations to include the trio I ordered. Big bonus she is a ducks fan. That would be Anaheim ducks just to clarify. I will definitely be back

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to one of these… I remember why now. The «bread“in the salad was frozen, potatoes were so so. Beer was good tho!

The only reason i gave them a star was because i had to put in an update. AFTER speaking with the General Manager several times, we were promised on several occasions gift certificates to make it wright. Well that never happened… very disappointed… Thank goodess killeen is growing and adding new spots to eat… I hate to be lied to. You took my money and lied to me and my family…

Horrible. I’ve eaten at Logan’s a few times now and each experience is not a good one.

Avoid this place at all cost! Go to Texas road house across the highway and you’ll thank me later.
Me and my husband wanted to go the Texas road house on a Saturday but it was so jam pack so we decided to come here because they pretty much serve the same food. We were wondering as we got in, how slow it was there. Every where else was so busy, how come in here was so slow, well now we know!
The service sucks. Our waitress didn’t know her food and didn’t even bring us drink. We pretty much got our drink the same time we got our food. That’s not the worst part yet, when we got our meal the fries on the side was so damn little. My order didn’t come with fries so I order an extra side of fries and it looks like they pretty much just took some fries from my husband plate and charge me for it. It was cold and hard like rock. I try breaking it apart and I can hear it break like a twig. Seems like those fries had been sitting there for a couple hrs or something to be able to be that hard.
We did complain to our waitress and she told us if we want more fries or new fries they were going to change us, like wtf! I can pay a couple dollar for some extra fries but why would they want to lose a customer over some fries! They should do all they can to make a customer want to come back! After our waitress left the manager came walking by to ask everyone if everything was okay and we did mention the fries but the manager try to come up with some lame excuse so I was just like it’s okay well just eat it.
I’ve never thought I’ll fight over some fries but, whew, this was an experience! I won’t coming back here anymore, r.I.p fries!

Oscar the bartender was amazing. The food came out perfect and fairly quickly! We will definitely return. The happy hour menu is pretty awesome too! Even the guests next to us had perfect meals. So compliments to the cooks today and the staff!!! Thanks Oscar! :)

I’m going to get straight to it. My meal was not that great. I had to send my steak back because it wasn’t cooked correctly. When they tried to «fix» it the second time it wasn’t much better. But I couldn’t bring myself to send it back for a second time.
I got over it by drowning my steak in A-​1 sauce and from the tears I shed from being hungry. Side note: Even the rolls weren’t fully cooked. My goodness what is going on at this place?
Luckily, I had a very pleasant server and none of this was his fault. I fully blame their kitchen for the tough rubbery steak I was consuming. The fact that I was struggling to cut through the steak. This was a clear indication I should have just asked for salmon instead.
I doubt seriously I’ll come back. I just can’t bring myself to deal with another chew toy steak.

Food was great, server was very nice and efficient. Restaurant was clean. Music was a little bit too loud for how early in the evening it was.

Overpriced, overpriced, and overpriced. We went for lunch on a weekday. No real lunch specials except a $ 25 steak lunch special. How is that even a special?!! Come on people! The waitress seemed out of it or scared, like she was being yelled at by her bosses. I’ve been to other Logan’s that were actually good! Our waitress mentioned the 2 for $ 20, then told us we couldn’t have it bc it is only after 3:00! Later, my husband felt sick of the stomach.
I’m done with this place! Is there a Texas Roadhouse nearby? If there is, that is where I am headed next time!

I have eaten here on several occasions as it is right in front of the hotel I stay at when in town. It has never been that great, but it is the only steak place on the side of the highway our hotel is on. I was all set to go to the Carolina Ale House, but a coworker wanted to go for steak.
He ordered the prime rib and I ordered the shrimp and filet mignon, each with a dinner salad. About 15 – 20 minutes after ordering, well after the dinner salads were eaten and gone, the waiter comes back to let us know they were out of Prime Rib.
Eventually our meals came out. My steamed
broccoli looked as if it had wilted under a heat lamp while waiting for the other meal to be cooked. The filet and shrimp were fairly cool and the steak was very rare rather than medium rare.
I sent it back and asked for medium. The manager brought it back out and asked us if everything was okay. I brought up the long interval between ordering and being informed of what they were out of. She apologized and said she would speak with the kitchen.
I guess I felt the quality of a $ 40 meal (each) being so bad warranted some sort of discount. It was not offered and I am
not the type to press. We paid the full
price and both vowed not to return to any Logan’s again.
This is my first real negative review
on Unilocal and I am generally understanding but this needed to be said.
The Carolina Ale house or the Tilted Kilt nearby are much better options. There is a Texas Roadhouse across the street if you really want steak.

I was happy with my large rib-​eye, baked potato and Caesar salad. The service was good-​never went without a drink. I ordered some dessert that came in a tiny bucket-​that was just a tease, really, especially given the fact that they served it to me with a huge soup spoon that barely fit in the tiny bucket. But, I would go back, and this visit was much better than the last time I was there, about 3 years ago, when I got a dry sirloin.

When you walk in, it’s really «Texas» with wooden & cowboy like furniture, I thought it was pretty neat :) They have peanuts they serve when you first get to the table, some people throw it on the ground & I was told that’s what you’re supposed to do, but I wasn’t to fond of making a mess lol.
We came here with friends, so they already knew what they want, however being brand new from Hawaii I had to get something with seafood lol. So I ordered the steak & lobster with a sweet potato :) long story short, steak was on the dry side (I ordered medium rare) & the sweet potatoe tasted old & burnt. Surprisingly the lobster was pretty good, maybe because it came with butter & butter makes everything good :)
Customer service was good, they came at all the right times & were friendly!
but overall, I would come back, just to give it a second chance :)

Food mediocre and way way overpriced. Staff was excellent though but I came for the food and was highly disappointed.

There were so any problems, nasty restrooms, slow and I attentive representatives, orders not given as a 3 course meal. Waited a long time before receiving take out containers and the bill. We were just ready to leave. The manager came before we walked out to attempt to redeem the place, but NOT! They need help, it use to be better, I don’t know what has happened. You have been warned! he chip and dip was the highlight and my husband got his shrimp before we left!

Like a Texas Roadhouse — again, I’m not a chain guy, but I’ve never been here and thought I’d give it a try. So, like I said, like a Texas Roadhouse, but not as good. They had peanuts to shell (like that), their rolls were similar (but not as good), house salad (weak) — my Filet was overcooked and needed more seasoning, the loaded baked potato was that loaded, but the Broccoli was good. Your probably better off with the Outback across the Highway.

I ordered the 20oz Ribeye and I can’t argue with the flavor, it was really quite perfect and very well cooked. The steak was extremely fatty though and unfortunately, at least 7oz of the steak was just fat. I can tolerate that though and I just cut it away. It just shows the quality of cut they’re choosing and serving. Some people like it, I’m not a huge fan of it.
Overall the meal was good. I just don’t think it was 4 stars good.

Pros: 10 min drive from my home
Cons: My very first visit for a $ 34 dollar meal w/​water for one
The trash of peanut shells on the ground was very trashy.
I stepped outside to grab my cell phone I was parked right in front of the entrance took me 25 secs top when I exited I didn’t see the hostess to let her know I was stepping out I came back and had a dirty wash rag where my bread and water was the twit cleared my whole damn table my food didn’t arrive yet thank goodness.
I ordered a lobster tail that was smaller than some prawns I have eaten in the past.
Not into country music but it can be blocked out.

I haven’t been to this place in about over a year and it’s refreshing to see the service consistent. The staff is friendly and seated us very promptly. I wasn’t in the mood for appetizers but they were offered. The rolls were hot and delicious. The sweet tea was great according to my significant other. I has the mesquite grilled salmon with mac and cheese as a side. It was delicious. Cooked perfectly. The seasoned broccoli was especially delightful. The waitress was prompt on every refill. Great experience and the lunch specials can’t be beaten. I will happily revisit.
