This place is permanently closed? Why?! That’s too bad because their pies were the bomb dot com. It was a really unique dessert shop for the area that nobody else offered. Oh well, here’s my overdue and late review for what it’s worth. So, I’ll keep it short and sweet(pun intended). — Pecan fried pie is heavenly. Flaky and buttery crust, nutty, gooey perfection — Vanilla custard was just as good, but a bit too sweet for my liking — Long wait time: ~15min, your pie(s) are made-to-order — Sweet & savory pies selection — Build your own pie — Drive-thru Here’s hoping that maybe one day they’ll come back. *fingers crossed*

This place shares a building with a convenience store, but has it’s own dining room and also has a drive thru. The dining room was very clean and the staff was friendly. They have a lot of choices for fried pies– fruit, pudding and meat and vegetable. The pies are about 8 – 10 inches long and are filled from end to end. Prices for the fruit and pudding pies range $ 2.95– 4.95/each. We bought 4– lemon, blackberry, peach and coconut. They were all fresh and testy and would get them again. It’s definitely worth trying!
