Do I have bad luck or this people are fucken stupid… I order 2 value meal # 4 which ever has the double western and I get 2 spicy chicken n 2 hamburgers… Are you serious… I have to drive far and cant go back to change it… Losers…
I should of known when they gave me small drinks but I though those were regular size since they always switching it up…

It took them half hour to make the wrong food. Which was cold… Talk about they cant aim the mayo was all over the wrappers instead of inside… The chick in drive thru had an attitude she looks at me like she wants to say something… I wish she would so I could of slap her back into her mommys stomach… In case your wondering what day was that and which idiots im talking about… Thursday February 4, 2016 at 3:45 pm…

Went to this carls jr and they gave me the wrong order, problem was I didn’t know it until I got home but when I called to complain the carls staff was very nice and apologized right away and gave me the right order for free. And did it with a smile.
The 5 star rating is for their service.

We stopped here as a break from driving. Tommee was so very courteous and provided service with a smile!

This Carl’s Jr is just off the East side of the 101 Freeway in a little shopping center with a Safeway grocery store and a CVS drug store. It is very convenient as you can access it off either the Canal Street exit or the Broadway Street exit.
II’ve been trying to eat healthy lately, which means I’ve been avoiding fast food drive throughs like the plague. Unfortunately, when I’m making the long drive from Bakersfield to Monterey or back, I’m usually trying to keep to a schedule and don’t have time to stop at a sit down restaurant for a meal. Carl’s Jr seems to be one of my best bets for picking up a healthy meal on the road.
Did you know that they will serve any of their chicken sandwiches as a lettuce wrap? This is a great alternative to a gluten and carb laden bun. I usually get the charbroiled BBQ sandwich as a lettuce wrap and ask for light barbecue sauce. The sandwich comes wrapped in thick layers of fresh crisp lettuce, and is wrapped in paper so that it is easy to hold and eat in the car, even while driving.
I’ve never had a bad experience at this location, though I’ve only used their drive through and never been inside.

I don’t care for the food — we just needed somewhere to give the kid a break while driving through on the 101. Interestingly everybody working here was super nice. Especially the dude with the done-​up eyelashes.
Restroom needs serious work.

The staff treat the customers as if we are in a 5 star restaurant. The manger seems to have high standards for his employees. My only complaint would be that I’ve had better Carl’s Jr burgers at other locations.

I have never written a review for fast food. but here it is.
The service here is the best I have ever encountered in a fast food restaurant.
Corporate should use this as a role model. Food was good and fresh.

Nice enough place. It’s actually the most convenient place to stop when I drive from San Jose to Santa Maria, or anywhere South on the 101 for that matter. It’s almost two hours South of here and a perfect place and timing. Nice place. Great food. Bathrooms. :)

Wow! The customer service was out of this world. I’ve eaten at fancy, sit-​down restaurants where the staff was not nearly as friendly nor as helpful as here. We just stopped in on a drive down south. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles, a «welcome to Carl’s» and «how are you» by all staff present (even someone on break). While we were eating the manager came by to check on us and even asked if we would like a refill on soda. At the end of the meal she offered to take our tray for us. Above and beyond doesn’t begin to describe the customer service here. I would come back just for the friendly experience.

You know how you see these GREAT Burgers in T.V. commercials then when you go to the fast food restaurant you get a burger that looks flat and half the size… This is, surprisingly, not the case with this Carl’s’ Jr. The burgers are BIG !!! They look just the way they do in commercials.
As someone who drives between L.A. and San Francisco a lot, King City is one of those in-​between stops for gas and to taken a moment. Since it opened I have also grabbed a latte’ at the King City Starbucks — which is also Very Good. But, this Carl’s Jr was (and is) a surprise. I just happened onto it one day and it is GREAT !!!
Recommended !!! Check out a Super Star with Cheese Combo. That’s what I always go for…

They always seem to give you the worst quality burgers. The employees are nice except the managers. They give you a burger that looks like it’s been their for hours. Don’t recommend it unless your into low quality food.

The service is so good, I thought I was in Downton Abby. You won’t believe it until you stop in and then have to stop and give a fast food restaurant five stars. Bravo, Carl’s Jr. King City. Bravo.

Um, its a fast food joint. I was super hungry. That was it. Really nothing to shout about.

This is a nice spot to hop off the 101 for a snack. The line for the bathroom got super long though… so we all peed behind the dumpster outside… foul creatures, truly.

This place is a dump, service is slow, quality is even lower than other Carl’s Jr. restaurants. Avoid!

So, I feel a little weird giving such a good review to a fast food restaurant, but this particular Carl’s Jr earned it. I can’t believe how good the customer service is here. This is not a shill Unilocal review… completely genuine.
Wifey and I were driving along the 101, and she had a hankering for some fast food. We just so happened to stop in here. The guy who took our order was very charismatic and cracking actual funny jokes with us. He was extremely polite and gracious. He promised the food would be out shortly. Sooner than later the food was delivered by a different Carls Jr employee. She, too, was extremely polite and helpful. She provided a bit of small talk before she left our table. She eventually came back to our table (along with every other patron in the establishment) to see if we needed anything else. She brought us more ketchup. Then the manager himself walked an order out to a waiting vehicle outside. On his way back, he personally thanked us for dining with them.
As for the food, it was what I would expect out of a Carls Jr (fairly tasty; their chicken sandwiches are yummy), but the service made us feel like royalty. Carls Jr corporate should really come to this location to see how customer service is supposed to be like. Kudos to you, King City Carls. Well played, indeed.

I stopped here on the way home from a camping trip. My friends and I were caught off guard with how nice everyone there was. It was so nice, it was creepy. Ever see those old horror movies when the small town is full of people acting weird? This is what it felt like. When you walk in, virtually everyone says hi or greets you somehow. When the person brought our food, she asked if I wanted ketchup. When I said yes, she asked how many. I couldn’t help but say «what the f*ck?» in response, but immediately said sorry. While we were eating, at least two times someone stopped and asked if we needed anything, if the food was okay, or if we had any garbage to take away. Again, creepy.
All things aside, the food came out hot, the place was SUPER clean, and the employees were definitely well trained! High five to the manager.

For fast food, this Carl’s was incredible.
First, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Which was great, because I had a bunch of questions as to what was on the Grilled Chicken salad.
Secondly, that salad was *fresh*. I thought it might be because we’re in the heart of California’s growing area, but the assistant manager said that they had to get their produce from the main Carl’s distributor. They just make a point of removing all the brown spots from the produce
Long story short; friendly staff, actual fresh salads that beat the majority of the competition.
