It is the only place to relax and do some work on the internet. It is a very basic Starbucks… No frills. No porcelain cups, no plates. However, very nice and helpful staff

My husband and I come here quite often, the workers that have helped us were really nice. We usually get an açai refresher and their banana nut bread warmed. So far so good!

The café sits in a very odd center, a circular structure that appears to have everything going for it, sitting right between two freeway exits and onramp, with lots of freeway traffic, yet the center is basically empty. This Starbucks has plenty of floor space but very few seats. The workers seem to have lots of fun at their jobs and they appear to know many of the regulars who come in. There is a fine veneer of grime.

Most disgustingly dirty Starbucks I’ve ever been in and I’ve been coming here for many years… But no more! It is consistently filthy and today, Sunday, 4 employees and 2 customers and the worst I’ve ever seen it so dirty. Imagine if the restaurant is so dirty you can only imagine the kitchen! I’ll take my business elsewhere to the little local La Plaza bakery in Greenfield with more stars and more good reviews Don’t ever come here until they clean up their act

Wont go back ever agian after hearing that the company said that he dont need business from those who dont support gay… So my family and I wont support your business… Marriage is between a man and woman… Those are my belives…

We needed a place to get quick breakfast. Good food on our way to Hearst Castle. They messed our order up but they were very nice about it, very helpful with five people trying to order all kinds of crazy drinks and foods. They have a lot of variety too. You can also stop by at the 101 freeway.

This review is much more about my bathroom experience than an actual account of Starbucks coffee. As a frequent commuter on the 101 I have dropped the kids off at the pool many times at this fine facility. It gets cleaned often and has a really nice set of wall bars for those more advance in the art of grunt and go. Other finer points are the open room style stall, favorable acoustics and a low profile entry. The toilet is located right off the entry door which allows for easy ingress and outgress far from the eyes of team members. This is a tremendous advantage when you really need to lay-down serious cable or negotiate the release of two brown hostages. Without all the feelings of shame one might otherwise have when getting the evil eye from staff. All and all you can’t beat this pitstop! kerplunk, kerplunk! Two thumbs up!

A welcomed sight as one drives down Highway 101! Not only can one walk up but drive through! Coffee is your typical Starbucks variety which isn’t a bad thing. While the restrooms are a little rough the place as a whole is good.

Review for the venue, not the coffee, nor snacks. Two clean unisex bathrooms. Using the 101 To get to SLO or So Cal? This is a nice point to stop for a pit stop. The leather chairs are plentiful and comfy too! Its right off the freeway, and right back on. Ps. Had a green tea latte. Mmmm.

Go here all the time. Always good service, friendly baristas. Has a drive-thru that I never use. Stop in to get coffee and sit inside or outside. Quite often get a coffee before heading out of town. Go across the street and get the best price on gas at Arco.

I travel a lot and spend a great deal of time at Starbucks so I am very familiar with how they work. I am in this city quite often and I cannot think of one time that I have been there when the staff has been friendly, efficient, or have not been put out when a drink has been made wrong. They can have 20 or 4 people in there and it takes forever. Their restrooms are almost always a mess, employees are a mess, and the employees are more concerned with their own socializing than making sure their customers are taken care of. Clearly their DM doesn’t make it there often or they might have the place in better shape. When I see people working there that are not familiar, I am often hopeful that things will have improved since my last visit, but it never does. I wouldn’t bother to go back but its the only game in town, so…

Your typical selections! The baristas are very nice and they really move the line along fast. They have great treats and generally clean tables. I’m not a coffee person but I do line the tea and the mini scones. Mmmm! Definitely try this location as they also have a wonderful selection of Christmas gifts!

We left Monterey and was heading back to LA, when we spied this location as we transitioned onto the 101 south from King City. Its located on the right side as soon as you exit the freeway, across the street from the McDonalds. If you just need a drink, they offer a drive thru. If you need to stretch and use the bathrooms, the parking lot here is weird. They need to restripe the parking lot, as people park in every direction to create their own spot. The baristas don’t seem to communicate to one another when they are out of an item. Stephen ordered an iced coffee and it wasn’t until I got my black tea lemonade is when they said they ran out of iced coffee. They substituted it with an iced Americano(at no additional charge) but it was still lame they communicate what they’re out of. It was late(almost 6 pm) and their pre packaged food items were almost gone. They have 2 unisex bathrooms and plenty of tables and outlets. I’d give this a 3 ½ star.

On 7⁄25 afternoon, I’ve rarely seen a store so out of sorts. Partners were not planted in positions properly. There were about 5 people making drinks and they were making drinks improperly, changing the order they went in, and let the shots in our drinks go bad. Customers at the handoff plane were waiting longer than they needed to because the partners were bumping into each other and asking which drink to make next. The partner at the register didn’t have support so he was calling the line very slowly. The pastry case and RTD were a mess. Drinks were not consistently written on cups and they weren’t being called out properly if they did have names, which resulted in our drink being taken by another customer. We ended up having to leave because when they were remaking the drink, they let the shots sit for over half a minute and we didn’t have time for them to remake it again. Training partners here properly is needed.

Good customer service offered by Napoleon. Weird interior layout, had to hunt to find front door. Ordered a grande unsweetened iced green tea which usually takes about a minute for my local sbux to get me. Here, it took over 5 minutes and it was NOT busy.

I live in San Jose and go to Pismo Beach twice a year on family vacation. This is my go-to Starbucks on the way down. Staff are always super friendly and super fast. There are almost always 5 – 10 people in line for the restroom and it somehow remains clean and well stocked. It’s magic :)

As someone who has been an avid fan of Starbucks since the moment they hit California, it feels a little bit funny to be writing a review about one. But, for those of us who frequent Starbucks we understand that some are good and some are not. This one is great. It is one of my necessary stops every time I drive North or South on the 101. It is easy to get off and on the freeway in King City and at this location you can do the drive-thru or you can park, go inside, and a take a moment to sit back and relax before you continue your journey, which is what I recommend. The staff is always efficient and nice and the location is always clean. Recommended.
