We were out car shopping today and needed a place to eat and review the vehicles we’d looked at. I’m not a fan of chains, so we chose this place because 1) it was close and 2) it was a small business. Seemed a bit sketchy from the outside but we were hungry, and there already and decided to chance it. Really glad we did. From the fantastic service to the delicious pizza, gyro, souvlaki, and baklava it was an awesome experience. Friendly, fresh, delicious, and really cheap. I will be back!

A very pleasant surprise. The staff are wonderfully friendly and cheery. Very clean establishment. Lastly, the food was very good and the prices match. I would highly recommend. We are visiting from the Washington, DC area.

King George is a simple, local place to get pizza, pasta and a Gyro. Not much more on the menu other than some subs. We stopped for dinner on our way to the Northern Neck on a Friday evening. It was on the later side — a lot of tables were dirty — they just finished a «rush» from dinner and from phone orders. Looking past that — we were greeted right away when we walked in and were greeted when we chose on our seats in the small dining room. Staff was very friendly. We ordered side salads a Gyro and Chicken Parmesean. The salads were very good — dressing served on the side. We both had the house dressing — recommended by the waitress. Gyro was fine — nothing fantastic but it was good. It’s not servied with anything so if you are hungry order some fries or something to go with it! The chicken parmesean was a hug portion — 2 peices of chicken and served with a side bowl of spaghetti with sauce. It was easily enough for two meals. The spaghetti sauce was not very good. I would pass on that for sure. Some jars have more flavor than that sauce had. The chicken, on the other hand, was delicious. It was so tender and still juicy — not cooked to death and rubbery … The melted cheese probably covered the flavor of the tomato sauce becuase I suspect it was the same sauce as was on the spaghetti. I didn’t notice it being as bad though. Overall, the food was okay, service was very good and the staff was very friendly.

Always good and very consistent… I love going to Kings with family and friends. I really love the subs with a basket of fries. The service is really good and they have a full bar. The only downside is they are closed on Sundays(we would probably make Kings a regular Sunday night dinner spot)… The juice is worth the squeeze… two thumbs up!

Love the food and the owners and staff. They are right on target. The pizza is the best, as the crust has a sweet flavor to it, which makes you want to gobble the whole thing up!

It was ok, but nothing I would go out of my way for, or stop at again. I got the medium pepperoni pizza after seeing all the five star reviews. It was good pizza, but it didn’t stand out to me as especially good just on the good side of average. I give it three stars because it was good, otherwise probably two for the lack of memorability. The wait was long for hardly anyone else being there.

The people running the place were very nice, so I feel bad, but I have to give a poor review of this place. The pizza was pretty mediocre, very bland cheese, little sauce, and cheap canned mushrooms. The real problem I have with this place is their bathroom — disgusting, broken urinal, mold everywhere, a total health code violation in every way. I won’t be back here after seeing that.

Let me start this review by saying that I am seriously addicted to their chicken parmagiana. The portion is huge and it is smothered in yummy mozzarella cheese and sauce. Its amazing! Okay, now that I go that out of my system, lets talk about the place in general. The owners are a charming couple who really seem to enjoy what they are doing. All their food is excellent. I know this because even though i ALWAYS order the chicken parmagiana, I do taste everything my husband orders. They will tailor their menu items to you preference and are very eager for you to enjoy their food. I could not say enough about the restaurant and these people. Go visit them soon. You will not be disappointed!

Greek style pizza with lots of cheese! Thick crust so you can only eat a few slices. Consistently good and the best in the area. The owners work there every day so there is a lot of care in what they sell. The steak and cheese sub and the lasagna dinner are all very good!

A local favorite, King George House of Pizza(KGHOP) offers generous portions of pizza, subs, and pasta at very reasonable prices. The dishes we had were a huge fried calamari appetizer, steak and cheese sub, KGHOP special sub(ham, roast beef, and turkey), Mexican pizza(green peppers and jalapenos), and a large kid’s spaghetti that included a basket of bread, all for about $ 33. We’d previously had their bacon and onion pizza, which was also surprisingly good. The food was all tasty and the quantity was so much we ended up taking several boxes home. There’s lots of parking, and the place fills up around dinner time. Very friendly staff was a plus.

I take out from here all the time. They, for some reason, have the best freakin’ chicken tenders I’ve ever had. For a place named«house of pizza» however, I for one, think the pizza is awful. It is WAY over cheesed(yes there is such a thing) and the bottom of the pizza is SO doughy that it remains soft and soggy. That being said though, this is not Chicago or New York style, it is its own«Greek-ish» style that comes from so many Greek mom and pop style restaurants, so you have to expect something different. Even with the terrible pizza, I still love this place. The staff is SUPER friendly and accommodating. I truly enjoy a restaurant where the owners/staff make me feel like they appreciate me as a customer instead of acting like they are doing me a favor by letting me eat there. The prices are slightly higher than I’d expect, but in an area with a smaller client base I can assume its needed to make a profit. The portions are large, and the ingredients(as far as I can tell) are mostly fresh/quality. I recommend everyone in the area or passing through give this place a chance.

Very small town homey feeling to the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and portions are huge. I love their pizza. I feel that they have the best pizza in King George. Nice wait staff and they really make you feel welcome there. My family of five ate there for a very reasonable price. Very happy with this restaurant.

Family owned and operated by Native Greeks, KGHOP has the best pizza in town! Of course their Gyro Pizza is my favorite, but all of their choices are pretty awesome. The kids love it and guests are impressed by the cheesy goodness in every bite! And don’t pass on their desserts, either! Their home-made baklava is a generous portion oozing with honey love, and the tiramisu is a minor masterpiece. If you live in KG, pass that Dominos/Pizza Hut cookie cutter frozen pizza and head over to the 205⁄301 intersection!
